Autism Aid App

The AUTISM AID APP is developed by the 2014 TIGO Digital Changemakers, Alice Mamaga Akosua Amoako and Solomon Amenyo. These two Digital Changemakers are volunteers of the AUTISM AMBASSADORS OF GHANA.

The AUTISM AID APP has three main features which includes;

i. SMS HELPLINE SERVICE
This is an SMS helpline platform, that parents and guardians of children living with Autism use in getting assistance for their wards when there is an emergency or when help is needed.

ii. KIDS WORLD
This feature helps parents to assist their Autism kids to improve on their communication skills, to enable them interact with people in the society. This feature is a replica of the international manual learning material for children with Autism and communication challenges, called PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System).

iii. AWARENESS
This is a platform that provides the society information on; Autism, Autism Centers and other special needs schools, Neuron Pediatricians in Ghana and Profile of Autism Ambassadors of Ghana. This platform also has a broadcast feature which enables the AUTISM AMBASSADORS OF GHANA to broadcast series of information on Autism to the society.
