Other than telling me where I got it and what all the reorder numbers are, this told me absolutely nothing about the cable. If it were 4K, HDR, what it could do, what it can't do, what it should do. I would expect to be taken to a page that totally describes everything about this cable. Nope. This app is worthless, totally worthless.

Great, and allows user to report fake premium certified cables if info doesn't match item description. Great to use to report fake 4k premium cables from Amazon and eBay. Excellent to make certain you get a certified 4k cable. Get what you pay for people and report the fakes!

This app is mainly for audio & videophiles who are making sure the cables they buy are legit and can carry the video & audio signals needed. Scanned #3 Monoprice hdmi cables & Rocketfish hdmi splitter that all had the hologram QR code. Worked fast & great, simple to use and navigate. Only issue, this is made more for someone in a wearhouse checking shipments of cables then the average consumer. Also a history of all cables scanned in with their speed & manufact. info would be nice.

I know this is super niche, and is probably more of an industry tool than a consumer tool, but I'm glad to see some sort of quality control finally out of the HDMI Forum... You don't need to spend $500 on a cable for quality, but you do need the right speeds. So, I would give this a 5 if they would post certification test results on the info page, it should be public knowledge.
