Autel Robotics Starlink

I am so glad that I chose the Autel X-Star Premium Drone once I decided to purchase one. It is so easy to learn to fly even for a beginner like myself. Their customer service is just awesome. I have a Samsung Tab 4 tablet which makes for a fairly large screen and the app works great. I can zoom in 2x which is OK but I wish it would zoom in tighter. Maybe it does and I just need to fly more.

I'm a newbie just started with only 4 flights in beginner mode. No crashes and all seemed to work as advertised. Had some interference that caused a lost signal and could not get it back. Failsafe worked flawlessly but I was always in sight of the drone. Great Stuff! Can't wait to fly again.

80 flights in.....no issues.....the app is very stable. I would follow Autels recommended tablets only.....I have a Repad that works fine, but wish I would have got the Nvidea....the starlink app is better than dji go4....much less screen clutter. I've used starlink on Repad, HTC 526, moto e...all androids....never an issue. I fly commercially as well as for fun....Autel and starlink won't let you down....can fly without internet, and usually keep it off, can load satellite maps offline...very cool for waypoint flying. Avoid all beta firmware!!!!! Don't be the guinea pig for half baked firmware....finally, read up on blog posts for flying tips and what not to do....enjoy

You can't go wrong buying into the Autel Robotics because for the money you get way more than what you pay for. Their service is 24/7 and top notch. There's nothing else out there that has the kind of service that Alltel provides to back up its product and to answer any questions you may have at any time of day. The All Star premium definitely gives DJI a big-time run for their money. DJ I would do well to look in their rearview mirror 24/7 because autel robotics is coming up fast behind them

Each new release of the app gets better and better. Really like the "Find my drone" feature for that what if moment. Don't want to use but it's comforting knowing its there. A++ on Autel's development team.

Selecting drone type is beyond frustrating!! Gave up after 5 minutes trying to select premium. Ridiculous. Where is the spot to touch! I cant figure it out. Either i need to be anorexic with bone thin fingers or the touchpoint moves around at random. Fed up. Here's an idea. Let me set the drone type as default and quit having to f*** with it.

Can anyone give a reason why this app works with a Samsung "E" and the not the Samsung "E" LIte? It actually worked a few times and then quit. When it did work it worked great! Now I just need to get another Tablet that will work with the App...Autel Customer Service is A++

After latest update I'm having major issues! When I use orbit mode I will set my obit size and start my obit and the quad will start doing the obit bit will stop halfway through and the quad freezes and hovers then I get warning messages saying there are not enough GPS or something like that. I can't get a chance to read these messages because they click on and off so fast on screen that I can't read. I know it's saying something about satellite's and GPS and my home position vanishes! I was using this app on my iPhone 6 plus before yesterday and everything was fine on that version but when I use on my Nexus 6 32 GB with 3gb of RAM it doesn't seem to work right. I think k I'm going back to the older version on iOS because I didn't have issues using auto pilot functions on iOS.

Love this app but I seem to get video interference warning a lot but my videos are fine when I watch them through the drone or my computer? Just a little annoying! Otherwise my drone is great! I love it!

I'll first start off by saying that Autel makes a great drone and have the best customer service that anyone even the most disgruntled customer could ask for. I ran into issues with my drone due to compass errors and from the reviews I've read it seems to be an issue with people using the APP on LG devices and that was the device I was using when I lost control of my bird due to a compass error. hopefully Autel could fix this issue.

App works with limited devices. Hopefully future updates remedy this. No video link with LG tablet but Galaxy S7 phone works fine **update** Thanks for the reply, I have upgraded to an Asus tablet now and no longer have the LG.

The new version doesn't crash on certain LG devices, but it has problems with magnetic interference, and switches the drone to ATTI mode.

Great product, I find myself using the X Star more often than i use my Inspire and Phantom. The camera on the X Star Premium is better and the app more user friendly.

Worked flawlessly right out of the box. Customer support is second to none. Looking forward to the new drones and cameras Autel is coming out with,.Will buy again BTW I got a refurbished for 200$ less than new. Just wish they would come out with a waterproof model, got to pick your days in the pacific northwest.

I was worried about flying a drone at this price with a fear of crashing it. Gotta admit, my fears are gone. This app lets me know exactly whats up. Thanks

Been flying it for months and haven't had a problem. It has been sitting in the closet for about a month because I've been so busy. I go to use it today and I have no live video feed on my Note 5. I tried using my Note 4 and it would not work either. What happened? Was there an update that will not allow me to utilize my Samsung Note 5? HELP! :P

App seems to work well....could use some more custom settings...for me Drone seemed to have malfunctioned in atti mode....battery hit 20% app told me drone was going home...having tried to regain manual control,with no luck after drone ascended to 99 feet...afraid of drone hitting high trees on way back home...had to kill the motors and try and catch drone with no other options... gimbal broken, and video link can no longer be established....excellent drone now useless...not sure why I couldn't get drone back into manual control...very devestated at my loss...

Horrible!! The app crashes all the time with my Samsung galaxy s8, please fix it!

Recent update has taken away most of the rough edges

App updates are excellent. I've been flying my X Star just over a year. I am a especially pleased with customer service.

Only wish I was able to zoom my creen using the creen on my phone just like the weather app.

Everything works as advertised, exceeded all my expectations.

Works great with my Samsung galaxy tab S2. New offline waypoint setup is a really nice feature. Now I want the new firmware. Tried And tried to be a beta tester for the new firmware but they said go to there official Facebook page and look for sign up. I looked and looked but I can't find it nowhere I bought mine in July of 2016. The 26th to be exact. I have 275 flights logged and like 75 hours of in air flight time on my xsp. Never crashed my xsp and I still can't be a tester. I think I qualify for a firmware tester. I mean how do they choose the testers? I have 8 years of flying experience. What else do they want. I'm very disappointed in autels choices of testers. And yes I have emailed support and always same answer go to official fb page and look for sign up. It's not there .Now I can't get the offline waypoint option to work. It was working but now when I go into it the waypoint icon is greyed out. Signed unsatisfied customer.

Samsung galaxy s8+//ipad mini. Works like a charm. I couldn't be happier with this platform and unit. Excellent job Gents!
