Austral GPS Tracker (GPS Tracking by SMS GSM) helps you to track and set your GPS Tracker from a huge number of manufacturers (Xexun and full list in the end).
Tired of sending complex SMS to your GPS Tracker Xexun or clone devices, or paying monthly fees to someone track your car or motorcycle? How about controlling your device with a few clicks from your Android smartphone?
With the Austral GPS Car Tracker you can monitor your vehicles (boat, etc), people and animals tracked by devices Xexun and others from your Droid smartphone with a few clicks at a cost of SMS messages.
On the main screen just select the brand, model, phone number and password of your GPS Tracking and click OK.
In our app we have 4 main screens:
- Dashboard: where you can check your vehicle’s current location, speed and distance from your smartphone. All of these in a simple and intuitive screen with a map.
- Locations: when and where your vehicle went since you installed the app. Also it shows the real address of that location, no more Latitude and Longitude!
- Events: know the commands you sent and received from your device in an easily reading form that anyone can understand.
- Settings: here you can send some commands to your device like changing the password, change the GPS mode, listen to your car, cut vehicle’s engine, GeoFence, define over speed and move alerts and much more.
You also receive light and sound warnings indicating that the vehicle was moved, if the alarm was triggered, SOS was pressed or the vehicle was exceeding the speed you defined!
EXCLUSIVE FEATURE! Now you can define your GeoFence using a map by pressing the threshold points you want (top left and bottom right) and then send it to your tracker.
Fuel Control: Control your spending on fill ups! Know your car's efficiency.

I really like this app but was forced to get a new tracker as Australia has disabled the 2G network. My new tracker doesn't work with this app. New commands, etc.

Geofence doesn't work, real time tracking doesn't work, move doesn't work, speed doesn't work, the only way I can get any location reading is by calling the unit, then only gives me current location and not where the unit has been. Why is this and being a paid app, help with these issues would be great, still waiting for an email reply from 3 days ago, not happy.

a major problem is alerts repeat themselves. I get 1 sms alert when the trackers battery is low but it keeps going until i open the notification for this app so i am forced to disable notifications until this is fixed. * How do i disable low battery warnings? Im wasting phone credit.

The app works fine except that it gives you access to the app even if you type in the wrong password at the main screen. This is bad since anybody who gets access to your phone could access the app and send commands to your tracker without knowing your correct password. Please fix this asap. Thanks for an otherwise good app. The developers are unresponsive and doesnt respond to neither emails nor ratings. I have changed my rating to 1 since without the password working the app is useless.

I've stumbled a problem, and got no help, even that I waited a long time! Thr problem is: while getting a trigger from the GPS tracker (low battery message), there is a beeping alert sound that is coming from the app, and there is NO WAY to control/disable this!

When I click a location link its now always zoomed out above Africa. Please fix so it is zoomed in at the tracker location like it used to be. * can we get 2 buttons for the map view. Locate me and locate Tracker. Would be heaps faster than zooming out then zooming in manually.

It don't give me the option to turn off the SOS: DANGER HELP ME. so I received this notification every 5min the WHOLE day long to the Austral app. I sent a sms reply: helpme to the sim and it stopped sending sms every 5min to my phone. BUT it still sends this notification every 5min to my Austral APP.

I purchased this to work with a ZY International TK-104 and it tracks perfectly. I tried tracking via SMS (default GPS manual) and it wouldnt respond to car position, but with this app it worked straight away. Highly recommended if you are also having similar problems.
