PopSci Interactive for Android
Current issues do not seem to support this...
The app installed fine but will not launch. I get a loading screen only, then it dies.
Does not work. Starts program but always goes back to phone menu. Another junk app
Works on most pages I tried. For a novice of smart phones, more info on what all the buttons are used for would be helpful. Thus the average grade from me.
It doesn't even run on my phone.
Terrible app... Simply, it's an app to put pictures/animations on top of your pictures/animations, then share them. Sooo dumb
Does not even load video just goes back to last screen
Awful, hard to use app that needs A LOT of improvement.
Does not work
Great and mind blowing

I love PopSci, and when I got a new phone I was exited to try this app out. However, it didn't work on my June issue of PopSci, I haven't tried with the others but so far nothing has happened.
For those of you having trouble - keep your phone pointed at the magazine for the entire video. Is keeping the phone pointed at the magazine necessary? Is the video content somehow embedded in the picture of the article? If so, that would be very amazing. If not, then the phone should be able to be moved once the content starts to play. Hope this helps.
Lighting's a bit of an issue. And if you get too close it looses the video and has to restart. There's no way to fast forward to get back to where you left off. Cool idea though.
This is really cool. It works perfectly on my HTC evo v/Evo 3d. And you CAN walk away with a video, just double tap the vid to full screen it. I love popular science. They are definitely very innovative. Keep it up!
Once you install this, you aim at the photo on the page, not at the PS in the box. That is not a QR code. You do not push any buttons, only tap the screen to focus. And for it to work, you have to STAY hovering over the photo. I would give it 5 stars if you could walk away as you would expect you ought to be able to do.
I was able pull up the video very easily and was able to pull my phone away from the page while still watching the video, great app!
Shows a loading screen then closes. Nothing happens when I point my phone at the icon.
Will not work after many tries. Yo estoy triste.
I had to try like 100 different camera angles before I found the "sweet spot." Then the video played upside down! This app has potential, but is not usable as-is.
You get the feeling that if the stars aligned it would work, but you or I will never see it.
My daughter and I both think it is awesome.
Awesome app. If you love tech and science and DIY, get this app.
Starts to load, then crashes.
Doesn't open on my phone. LG optimus v
Works well on my Bionic. Good first try for content.
Finally a way that my smart phone really is.
Not compatible with B&N tablet which is where I read the rag.
Hey, this ain't half bad!
Great app. Brings mag to life.
Works
Could not scan pages from my popular science magazine. Also managed to store over 188 mb I'm less than 2 minutes. Immediately uninstalled.

This used to kind of work, when it was still in use. Current issues of PopSci no longer have the icon that triggers this app, so it is no longer relevant. Unless you want to try it with issues from circa 2012.
