RR is the awesomest radio station on the net. Your playlists are just too good for all genres. Keep up the good work, guys!!!

TL;DR: It's OK for rock and classic fans, but METAL HEADS ABSTAIN! Long review from Long time fan of DI network (since winamp days), I also use other DI apps (DI & Radiotunes) and the app itself is good, my only complaint would be if I dislike(downvote) a song, then it should be logical for the app to skip to next song on playlist, or at least provide a "skip to next track" button, not force me to change channel and come back (universal to all DI apps). However the reason why I am rating the rockradio app with 2 stars only is the so called "expert curated" library of songs. Where do you even get those experts and what do they smoke? There's no consistency whatsoever within various channels, your experts can't even read the description of a channel before assigning songs to it. The Power Metal channel is an April's fool joke. Symphonic metal channel is basically any song that has keyboards and a lady singing, often lullabies. You sometimes get hard rock songs when clicking on a heavy metal channel, and the slowest heavy metal songs when clicking on trash metal, just to name a few. It's that Ridiculous! If you want to bundle metal with this app then please make sure your metal curators are at the very least actual metal fans who appreciate the various subgenres and can clearly distinguish which subgenre a song belongs to.

No longer opens with "Favorites". No longer displays what's playing. Will become utterly useless by 2020 at this rate.

For a long time rock music lover specially of classic rock, this app is a great app.Sound quality even for the free is really superb.In a nutshell one who lives on rock music, dreams rock music this one is a must have.Long Live Rock Music.

Simple and to the point, want an awesome collection of rock music across genres on a radio style playlist? Then this is the app for you. Keeps it simple and decluttered with regular updates that make it smooth to operate and experience. I love it

I WANNA ROCK! Just about every kind of genre of rock music you'd want in an app. I listen to metal and there are so many different stations to listen to. I pay for the the yearly subscription to get the highest quality stream. Love it! m/

Back to 5 stars! The developers' team finally fixed the annoying bug while exiting the application. Hopefully the future updates will not introduce any new bugs! Why don't you just leave the app alone when it works? Why the need for the continuous endless updates? I hope the reversal to previous versions would be allowed; therefore, I would have bug-free versions all the time.

This version is always crashing down every time I play one of the radios.

Good idea, bad execution. Don't like not having the ability to skip. Even if you give a song thumbs down, you still have to listen to the entire song. Leave the genre to try a different song, come back to the genre, same song.

Oh look! Another update and STILL not fixed. These have got to be the most out of touch people ever. Were they bought by another company? It's been MONTHS since something as basic as Now Playing was removed. How hard is it to add that back? Emailing support gets you the same garbage reply they've been giving since October. It's disappointing to see how out of touch they are with what their users actually want and how much they've ruined what used to be great. Do yourselves a favor and don't bother with a premium subscription, it's clear they don't care about their users and they definitely don't deserve your money.

Love it, learns your listening preferences by allowing you to approve or disapprove the song played. Then like a tailor customizes your play list to fit your 'likes'. Only one small problem...the ads. I want to upgrade to the premium but it is so expensive. If it was $30 a year or even maybe $50 I would jump at it but $10+ a month is way too much. Too bad.

The concept is great, I like the way that when you subscribe to one channel you get all of them BUT I always have to open the app twice because as it loads the channel the first time it just closes. Also it would be better if all the different music genres were available in one app if like me you are a subscribers. Let's hope an update fixes the closing issue and you apply integration. Apart from that it's great

New playlists are awesome! Especially on Hard Rock. A bunch of newer music being mixed in. Only four stars because of the few glitches that pop up on mobile. Sleep timer not working again. Otherwise, keep up the great work!!!

Occasionally the radio stations refuse to play the music which gets annoying fast because force stopping and starting app again doesn't solve the issue.

After update to Android 8.0 the app is crashing when I try to listen some radio station. Fix it, and I will change my score.

It's definitely worth having. Best app in the world until the new updates make it crash every time ????
