DI.FM Radio for Android
The best app for music lovers! Track selection and live podcasts are amazing. Progressive, chill&tropical, liquid d'n'b, progressive psy - me, my bfrd and my friends we love them all. Downtempo lounge is the best for sleeping. I suggest one year subscription for your pleasant listening experience. Thanks to developers and all who participate. Great job!
While the music choice and quality is still great, this latest update was AWFUL. No more auto play upon stopping / resuming (calls, audio from games, etc) The home screen now pops you up all the random channels instead of your favorites, even though the tab is active on favorites. You do not see quick previews of what's playing on the streams anymore before tuning in. Wow.. -- with latest update They had previously fixed the launching app with all channels instead of favorite... well no more! Now it's back to all channels. And what's worst, now the app crashes every time you close it. God friggin awful update. Way to go. I've long been a fan and listener (99-00) but what you are doing to the app is highly making me reconsider if i will renew premium when it expires or not.
Love the music, hate the app. It starts to play music in my pocket after I exit the car, sometimes it disappears when I tap play (crashes?), sometimes it reappears in my notifications for no reason. It drained my battery at night (in 2 hours), the list goes on. It was just as bad on my previous phone.
*edit* ignore the review below. The app is still not fixed and is continuing to simply exit when connected to an external source like Chromecast or Bluetooth. Until this is fixed, I'll stick with the 1 star review. The recent update seems to have fixed the stability problems so this goes straight back up to a 5 star review. Nothing I love more than listening to melodic progressive all goddamn day! Im still waiting for sonos integration though. Fix it please Di!
I love the music. I wish we could comments on the songs like we do in SoundCloud. I noticed if I pause the song and come back to it hours later that I need to change the channel before I start listening to that channel again or the app will freeze. Hey DJs, there's a billion different rhythms out there, stop putting reggae beats on everything :-)
I have been a premium member for 14 years. Never had any real bad experiences until now, since 8.1 Oreo, the app crashes non stop after reopening 3 or 4 times it will work but after awhile it crashes again and again!!! I thought it was my phone... Well after factory reset.. still an issue. Please fix this for everyone, including your dedicated and loyal customers.
Been paying annually for many years now. Used to be great. Now will constantly crash on Android. Also keeps resetting radio shows and skipping to a new song halfway through a song. When it does play music it plays the same songs over and over. Keeps getting worse. No longer a fan.
App has gotten progressively slower over the years and frequently crashes to the home screen if you don't give it a sec to load the album art for tracks. It has been taking longer to buffer songs as well, even on a good connection.
Big surprise they add more useless "features" and still can't be bothered to add back a basic necessity like Now Playing. What a joke. Do yourself a favor and don't waste money on a premium subscription, it's clear they don't care about their users.
Decent music selection. Their EBM and Synthpop stations are my go to for streaming music and the Chillout is great for when I have company. But on a fully updated Pixel 2, the app crashes constantly. It's taken me 5, 10, even 15 attempts at opening it before it doesn't crash.
I love you guys and Nu Disco is my favourite channel! But you need to work on this App. This app has been constantly crashing on my android cellphone. It has become a norm now that the app has to crash atleast 5 times before I can listen to some music. Please sort it out. I guess you guys recently raised some money too. Put that to work now please. Thanks for this product by the way!
What is with leaving a genre..eg house because you dont like the track and then return after listening to other genre's back to original house and find the same track played where you left off. Not happy. Also, give us back track access. Not happy.....if im half way though a 1hr set i have to listen to it all otherwise when i come back its starts from where i left off. I left because i didn't want to listen to that set anymore in the first place. FIX PLEASE
The Android app is very weak, slow, clunky, even crashy. Have been updating my review since the beginning of Android Market but it is still a thing in 2018. The service they provide is good, but the payment model is very old school cable company style. Would like to pay but really cannot stand being forced to pay for things I don't use. Why not create a-la-carte, pick 5 packages?
Great station..
Mode chanel bro
A must for Trance lovers.
Sleep timer sometimes doesn't work, and still no Android Auto support.
Works great unless it's paired to Bluetooth. Then it crashes all the time when trying to play music.
They keep screwing with the app for ad purposes. Now it keeps cutting off randomly and especially during or after an ad plays. Take a great thing, add greed, and you get this
One of the best radio apps with nice variety of genres, but still have a few missed like no jump up or club drum'n'bass, both of the stations they got play more of a liquid d'n'b, no ragga jungle or classic breakbit. App is crashing if you will start it up for the 2nd time during a day, so i had to go to apps menu and force close it. If not that it would definitely have a 5+ from me.
I have been a loyal fan of di for over a decade now literally from day one when you guys established and were just a small website with a small handful of great channels before smart phones and the convenience of apps for them. Since then I've recommended you to dozens of people. I don't feel it's worth listening to anymore mainly due to the harassing disruption of the ads for higher quality, they are far too loud and frequent, destroying good vibes literally every ten minutes, did I mention they are far too frequent, frequently. I would pay a monthly fee but feel it's too high for what I can get elsewhere, basically for free. I feel I'm paying a sellout price because you have massive greed or running costs to support stations like chip tunes etc, when really a majority of us want melodic or progressive music instead. Can't I just pay a fee for a handful of stations I actually listen to instead of the overcharging for your expanding "look at our big station" fee. Although I'm glad you have gone to great success and brought many live sets I'll never forget to my lugs, I've moved on. I'd love a response from you on this. Peace.
DI.FM Radio is a wrong name for this app/service. All these years the app worked as a radio-tuner; I could jump between channels, and get back to a channel thap playded the best set. I tried to stick to the old client as long as possible, but it stopped working and forced me to update to this "new di.fm".. Now it's just a fu**ed up version of eg Spotify. I read in the comments that some users like to jump between channels, and have the track changed. Well, they should get an other service, like eg Spotify or any other streaming-sevice. DI.FM screwed up their original idea, and this makes it just an other streaming-service on the internet offering a wide range of music.. please bring back the original Digitally Imported!!
Great music. But app crashes a lot, playback randomly stops, and long buffering times. I've been a paid subscriber for many years, but will not renew.
The world's most annoying ad breaks every 10 minutes, if you don't pay for premium, beware.
Love the music. The app is a little slow and crashes sometimes.
Not a great selection of music in my case (I like psytrance) but sadly it's the best app out there. Psytube has a better music selection but the app is broken
Very unreliable, at times just sits at buffering and does nothing. Having to force close and relaunch more frequently recently
Best music app I've ever used. It's impossible to not dance to the Bassline station.
Dj.fm is good but app not so much. When hit play app crushes, several times.
On a 20 minute commute to work in a LTE rich environment, not one song successfully played.
This app and service are great! I listened for free for a while, but now that I have premium I will never go back!
Sadly this version crashes when trying to launch on ShieldTV. It's not officially supported. But the previous version ran ok. When casting, ads are played on the phone and not on the receiving device. Wouldn't it get more attention if that too was cast?
Would be nice to create playlists & play songs after they've been played. Would be nice if after the update, switching to a station wouldn't throw you into the middle of a song. Would be nice
Keeps playing when connection lost in subway tunnel. However it often does not recover properly after the song ends and the app needs restarting as play button does nothing.
I love this app. If you love electronic music as much as I do, this app will help find the best music of every genre. Anything you're in the mood for from deep bass, and happy hardcore to uplifting trance, this app makes it easy to navigate and find exactly what you want. Highly recommend!
Sleep I listen to this on my way to work every morning for the past 2 and a 1/2 years Can imagine going the work without listening to this radio app definitely one of the best I have on my phone
It takes forever to buffer, even with a full bar LTE/4G signal. Most of the time I just give up and listen to something else.
This app crashes so many times day, won't load stations even on Verizon's lte and a pixel XL. It's a horrible app.
Always stops and buffers during play. They also play lots of commercials. If they get paid for commercials why does it still have these issues? Use it to work out and it's frustrating when it stops all of a sudden. Uninstalling and installing shouldn't have to be an option.

I have been a listener to digitally imported for over 10 years and used to use this app & the radio tunes every day during my commute, while working on my car at home, and while exercising. Unfortunately, a few months ago after they changed the way ads play on the app, it's been unusable for me. When an ad starts to play you can no longer change the channel, like a normal radio station; it continues the ad no matter what station you switch to. "Fine, I'll just switch to a CD in my car for a minute and then come back to the app." Nope. The ad PAUSES when you leave the app, then resumes when you re-open! I understand the need for ads, but why not just make them work like a normal radio station? I'm so sad that I can no longer use these great stations :c (and no I am not going to pay a monthly fee to listen to the radio)
