Radio Player by Audials

I came to this after TuneIn Pro lost the scheduled recording function. However, despite setting this up apparently correctly, so far it's not recorded anything. It seems to switch on at the right time, but just doesn't record. Then it doesn't switch off at the end of the recording time. That, coupled with the fact that it doesn't seem to display station pics and info, makes it seem inferior to TuneIn. Not impressed.

Why do they ruin their own apps? Used to be that I Loved the no permissions requested! Used to be Awesome search for radio stations and great reliability! The only problem is they restrict your headphone volume to half volume only. This sucks really bad. It is awful now. Only good for Bluetooth streaming to speakers with Independent volume control. Why do they ruin their own product this way?

What a horrible app it records something but not what you want it to. Why can it not just record when you press record. I waited 4 hours for it to go green and when I did stop it it lost the lot what a waste of data and time 0/10 can you try to please reply in English so I can understand your comments thankyou. Other apps Mr Recorder actually record when you press record and stop when you press stop and only record what you select and do it instantly why is this so hit and miss. After reading the reply from the app creator even though it's got a green arrow next to the stream and you have touched record it's still a 50 /50 App is too hit and miss will it or want it record. Shame really. All you want is record and stop that's it. and an indicator showing its recording so you have confidence its recording please Is that so difficult?

I like it except that it freezes at open, or when selecting content. Compatibility mode no difference. Lonnnnnnng startup time is annoying. Moto z play droid Nougat fyi. Thanks.

Great app so far. I moved away from tune in as they took away recording and like the way this app streams and records. A more obvious search button on the top of main screen would be food

Good app and alternative to tune in. But please can we have talkSport ? That and BBC 5 live are the main stations that broadcast football. I got this app for that reason. You say in your description you have it but I can only find talkSport2. Dissapointing.

This is the only app that I can find to record streaming radio but unfortunately it's a bit hit and miss on the station I record Triple J Australia. For some reason it can't pick up the stream properly and only sometimes will record more than 10 mins.

Great radio app with neat features. Only negative I've found so far is the volume slider on the bottom. It's so easy to hit by accident, bumping volume to max.

I love the recording function, but could not record a sigle song without a hick-up. I will review my rating once I sorted out what the problem is...

I can record my favorite radio shows and play them back whenever. The equalizer is a big plus, too. Sometimes the alarm and scheduled recordings do not start. Sometimes recording starts when it shouldn't, just by opening the app. S6Active and S8plus

My favourite app on Playstore. Better than all the other radio apps. And free! It just gets better with every update. Hats off to Audials team.

Excellent app after being let down by Tune In Radio. Great record facility and the quality of sound is superb. Very pleased.

So far it's ok. However, there were issues of overlapping streams when switching stations. If there's a way to add stations that weren't listed this would be perfect. Scratch the last part. It's buried in settings. The record button should be placed in the notification shade controls.

As always, this app said it was recording, used an hour's worth of data, but ultimately just recorded a 50kb, 3 second file and I lost my live recording. Unbelievably frustrating.

It now has schedule recording as MP3 not some unuseable file that cannot be played through another app, so this kicked Tunein out the door, this is now my prefered internet radio app. Why no schedule on iPhone.

Really good app that allows you to record radio. It even splits them in to mp3 tracks and names them too. Excellent!

Would be nice when exiting from the app on android galaxy S4 you could read what the options were in full even rotating the screen does not show all the information. For what I use it for its a great app

Uninstalled tune in because the last update sucks. Found this and so far awesome. Not a apps offer a sleep mode, this does. Cool.

Recording doesn't work very well. Sometimes doesn't record, sometimes record tons of small clips instead of a full single one, sometimes records when it shouldn't.

I would like to give this app 5 stars because it has many options but is very slow, slow tuning, slow operation, slow retuning.

The schedule recording doesn't work sometimes. Maybe a problem if wifi stops during schedule recording.

Get this app with record radio unlike other well known paid app that has taken the rec button out

you have to disconnect device media volume from chromcast volume. Sometimes you need to switch off sound on device, but chromecast should still play.

Very serious app about radios around the world, much better than others, I switched to Audials about 2 years ago and no regrets,many thanks, keep doing great app!

Used to be great but now I can't record anything and streams are constantly breaking up . Same streams play perfectly with other radio apps .

I've been trying all sorts of players, came to this and it does just what I want, including recording.

Decent alternative to "you know what". User interface needs simplifying and an update though.
