The mobile version is close, but I have a couple issues. When I select the button to view item on eBay, half the time I cannot navigate back. However, the reason I am frequently looking on eBay is to find one critical piece of information: shipping price. If that information were provided I wouldn't need to leave the application as much. As a software developer myself, my advice to the developer is simple: use the app yourself. Eat your own dog food. Or someone else should do your job.

My 3 free snipes brought me 3 fast winning bids. That rush in the last few minutes hands shaking watching several auctions that are few minutes of each other are you going to be able to get in the lowest bid and win and still get to the next auction. All i had to do was watch my winning bid come up and click to the next auction and wait. Won below my max bid. Awesome

by R####:

Useless. Didn't work. Snipe added and checked several times including on website but app made no attempt to place a bid automatically when auction was closing. Reason given was bad password yet it allowed me to access my account and place the snipe earlier in the day thus implying everything was ok. Will never use this again it is POINTLESS!!!

Well used to love this app and been watching an item I'll be at work when it ends. My bidder let me sign up but Auction Sniper says my same credentials are Invalid! So hoping mybidder works cause this sucks!

Looks like they finally updated the UI to be more than a glorified mobile version of their website (which is good, and it really looks like a modern app now). But they have to be greedy and want permission to read all sorts of personal information from your device that's not needed for this app to function. So you pay for the service and you also pay by giving away your PI.

This is the first sniper I've ever used, and it was recommended to me by a fellow eBay seller. So far it's been fantastic (although I have no other to compare it to). Fix: When I choose the "View on eBay" option, I have to close the app and relaunch it to access my sniping (versus a simple "return").

R70%
by R####:

When I tried to set a snipe, it told me I was "out of free snipes" even though I hadn't had any. Don't waste your time with this one.

I have used the Android app for 7 years with mixed feelings about it. This incarnation is a big improvement but the navigation still needs working on.

W70%
by W####:

Used to work great. No problems. Suddenly I get a notification that my account can't be verified by eBay, and no longer works. I had to change snipes because this one stopped working for me.

C70%
by C####:

I've logged in to the app and have tried refreshing my "watches" list so I can set some snipes but nothing comes across from ebay. It just says it's unable to update my watches! Useless. Can't use the app at all.

by R####:

Can't get it to work even through the website. Have had same eBay account for over 10+ years and it says it doesn't exist.

Y70%
by Y####:

I'll check back after using it more. Doesn't support creating folders and bid groups. Web interface seems better even on mobile.

R70%
by R####:

You only get 3 free snipes. Waste of time

R70%
by R####:

As a user of the website for the past 10 years, I won several auctions that easily justified the fees and I walked away when the pricing model changed. With recent updates, it was time for a second look. Initial impressions: - The app permissions are reasonable and don't pull unnecessary information - Many aspects of the GUI are improved and easy to traverse - Appreciate the Free Shipping indicators in main GUI and not pleased with forced navigation to eBay for fee based shipping - Application responsiveness on Galaxy S7 is very good I'll post back after using it on a few auctions.

I've really liked the Auction Sniper website in the past, but the app says my password is wrong. I logged out of and back into eBay to make sure I had it right (I did), and then changed my password and tried the AS app again - still didn't work.

R70%
by R####:

Does not let you sign in. Just freezes at login screen after you enter credentials. Website works far better still.

R70%
by R####:

Why doesnt the mobile app integrate with ebay the same way the pc version does. Mobile version needs a snipe it now button

Z70%
by Z####:

I've used this product for years, and it's never once let me down. I used another product briefly, and lost out on something valuable, but won't make that mistake again.

R70%
by R####:

The latest version is light years ahead of where this app was. It's simple, has the features I use & need. Makes is easy to setup and manage snips

R70%

Not a review but a question for anyone or the dev team. Does this work after The ebay requires verification fiasco on 10/11/16. Other sniping apps are dead in the water. Can you verify this works. Thanks.

1 star review, will not sign me in to my eBay account, correct username and password but keeps saying invalid username or password. Had 3 attempts now, will be removing app and trying something else.

R70%
by R####:

It is really frustrating that I can't create bid group folders in the app since this is my primary means of adding bids when I use auction sniper

R70%
by R####:

It's asking me to log in to my eBay account so that it can snipe my watch lists but my details are not correct which they are.. I'm gonna have manually bid for the items..thanks......

I've used it for many years now whish helped enormously in the dial up days when i lost many a auction due to a door connection and the bid lagging and not going through in time. I have a mega fast connnection these days but still use trusty Auction Sniper so i don't have to sit and watch the auction end and can get on with other stuff such as my work when i can't have my phone on. I know Auction Sniper will bid for me.

Been using auction sniper for years on the PC, mobile version seems ok but not as clearly laid out as web version, time remaining coming up inaccurate for some reason but bid submitted ok

S70%

When I tried to set a snipe, it told me I was "out of free snipes" even though I hadn't had any. Don't waste your time with this one.

Trying to beat somebody in auction is very anxiety-ridden. I just throw out my worst-case, best-case offer sit back and I'm in. I highly recommend this app

F70%
by F####:

Easy to use and works perfectly. Just set the amount and forget. There is an option to increase if outbid early but that is not the point of this brilliant ap

S70%
by S####:

Crashes, missing key features of the web service. Just use Chrome; the app is crap

S70%
by S####:

Fundamentally I love auctionsniper as I win what I need to most of the time. That said I think the old ap worked better as it held all your history. This one limits it to x years. I also have an intense dislike of the adverts. Apart from that this one passes.

S70%
by S####:

Cant sign on. Keep getting pw error . WTHeck? No phone # to call . sigh....

S70%
by S####:

Crap! Didnt win an item and according to the winning bid my bid was 30 dollars higher!

S70%
by S####:

Would be 5 stars but I haven't really figured out how to tweak all the settings. I'll set it to raise the max a few times but it doesn't always and things like that.

I70%

Been using it for years on my PC, now use it on my phone. Win auctions much more often!

S70%

I COULD NOT have the things I bought off eBay withought Auction Sniper. Simply the Best!

A70%
by A####:

Never had a problem with this multiplatform system. Of course you pay a small percentage of successful bids for set and forget bidding.

S70%
by S####:

If I view an item on eBay within the app, to get back to Auction Sniper I have to close the app then open it again. I have bid a few times. The prices are reasonable.

S70%

All except one time when I forgot to add pennies you know the .00

S70%

Will not sign on to ebay with confirmed correct ebay userid and password on 2 different devices. Useless.
