U-verse Easy Remote for Android
When I go to load all the channels it just sits there and loads. Nothing comes up though, instead it just spins and spins and spins. Everything else is OK with it though would just love to see the menu on me remote and be able to change through the tablet remote instead of trying to navigate through the TV.
I loved this app because we lose remotes sometimes and batteries in our remotes...DIE...right when we don't need that. Then, you guys came out with an "upgrade" and it doesn't work on anything in the whole house after multiple attempts to trouble shoot and reboot and reinstall and I've sent in reports and heard NOTHING.
Not a bad app, works well, but forgot the most important button.... POWER. I can't get to my remote easily because I'm temporarily handicap, but my phone is always near me. Well this would be convenient if i could turn the box on with it, but i cant.
Its alrite. Could use a more easier platform. Would be cool if you could page on the guide. If it were more remote style with the buttons on one screen, that would make it easier to use. Kind off worthless when you have the remote sittin right next to you.
Works ok... Doesn't list ALL programs that have been recorded... Too cumbersome to navigate menus to reach pause, rewind, etc.way easier to pick up the remote. Why can't the app turn on/off the cable box? Why doesn't the app look like the att remote? The other att app does a better job. But still lacks power button also. Finally, this app takes far too long to load. Using Moto x pure
The in app guide will not show all the channels. What's the point? You have to set up in app favorites, 1 channel at a time. Once you save your favorites, from the channels the app randomly decides to show you, you can scroll through the 5 channels it ACTUALLY save as favorites. All these ideas are excellent ideas (in theory), the execution is the failure. This app could be so much more. I expected more from a company as large and diverse as AT&T. Quite disappointed.
One is the lowest i could go but it simply does not work in todays society we download an app like this to make life easier but when it dosent work were not satisfied. Not to mention we dont want to download an app to have to set it up
It can not understand voice commands. I tried speaking fifteen dvr'd show titles. The only one of that worked was "southern charm"... Yeeks! 2 stars only because I can still flip channels from my watch.
Im disappointed. I find myself having to disconnect and reconnect to my uverse device because it can no longer be found. Please fix or at least make a button within the app to do this.
Works just fine... but it rarely works and takes forever to load when it does. Even then, there is always the risk of it randomly disconnecting at any given point. Just buying an actual remote would be preferable.
This app has great usage as a basic remote but with a search function. My main problem is I can not remove any favorites and the list you can see is very short no matter how many channels you favorite.
I can't even get past the setup part of this app. It continually tries to connect and then crashes the app. I can't believe AT&T would even release something like this. Guess what they think of us. Fix this app or remove it there's no point in it even being here
I wish I could give this no stars. It doesn't connect to the TV. when you find out what you have to do. It won't let you click on the next button. Worst 10 Megabytes that I have ever downloaded.
This would be a good app if I can even get the NEXT button to work!? I turned on all my receivers and the next button won't light up. There's no instructions or any advice to trouble shoot. Very frustrating.
navigation is terrible. can't hide non HD channels, can't easily sort channels by genre, can't sort through favorites easily. what's the point of this app over the U-verse standalone app that has a much better remote that mimics the real tv remote and better channel finding options
U-verse recently updated how the remote works. When pushing a button on the remote, they added steps to get the same results. You now have to push a button 2 or 3 times to get what you want to see. This makes using the remote slower & more time consuming, which becomes frustrating. The return button used to get back to a previous station is really slow. Also the up & down arrow used to search channels in the PIP window takes longer to get the same results. U-verse really failed with this update.
Poor design layout not user friendly but, I just use it to change channels and use the last channel feature. For the past year, it used to reconnect but since the most recent update to version 1.9.1, it reconnects to the wrong receiver. If the other receiver is disabled, it hangs and needs to be forced stop and data cleared. Having to reinstall every day is very annoying.
Rarely connects to device, and when it does it gives the wrong channel guide. Works better on the iPad, even though it crashes regularly there.
I like this app a lot. I can be lazy at times and this app allows me to change the channel while I´m still snuggled up in my comfy position on the couch. But the app crashes a lot so that could be fixed.
It always switches rooms when it does work which is 25% of the time. It also loses connection to the receiver every single time.
It appears that it only works on the AT&T router. I can't connect to mine. This app was clearly not tested in enough environments. Don't waste your time with it.
It's a great app but why isn't there a button to turn my receiver off? It feels a little incomplete without that feature.
Why is this called easy remote? It's easier to spend an hour looking for your actual remote than using this app. It's easier using the att uverse app than this, it actually has a remote. Don't waste your time downloading this, just get the other app.
This app took about 2 hours just to load the name of the room that it is in, after a while I turned it off because I wasn't going to wast my time, who knows how long it would have taken if I didn't turn it off.
No matter what directions are followed it does not work.
When you accept the terms, after that when you have to click next, it will not let you. It stops there. PLEASE FIX THE BUG!!
Not bad. But, there's no volume control and no MUTE button. The majority of time I use the remote for MUTING. You can't do that on this app. So until they build a volume control with a mute, this app is moot to me. Please work on this, fellas. Thanks.
Wasted an hour of my life trying to get the app to sync with my receivers.
Could get it to work. Kept hanging or crashing.
UNREAL, 3 YEARS AND IT STILL DOESN'T WORK??? Same story 2 years later. If you are going to build an app...BETA TEST IT!!!!! It is called software 101 and ATT, once again you clearly are NOT following the SUCCESSFUL PATH!
Couldn't get pass choosing the receiver to pair kept pressing done and it wouldn't work, oh well I'm uninstalling
Omg I love this app its awesome it's like you have your remote in your phone...And so easy to use omg now if I can't find the remote I can use my phone lol thumbs up to whoever made this app its amazing
The app shuts down every time I try to select a receiver.
Pretty sad I needed to use this app instead of my standard remote because your hardware is so damn cheap. I'm calling about this later today or tomorrow. Ridiculous I have 2 remotes in my house and none of them work. Bullshit
This app is a joke. More than 90% of my channels are not shown in the channel guide list.
The voice app does not work at all. Tje interface is 2000. This is a waste of an app and they should be embarrassed to release this. It's not even what I'd call a "beta" app. Go back to the drawing board!
Worst app ever....crashes all the time. Still a joke, tryed app again. Same issue.
Needs arrow and select type of navigation through options on screen. Big part of it in my opinion, also has limited access to recorded archives saved on the device. If these updates are made I will give 5 stars.
Says tap next to connect your receivers. You can hit next with a sledgehammer and nothing will happen.

Pretty sure Xfinity has a better app so that's something to be concerned about... maybe you should update the app once a year? Or even once every 3 years? I'm also pretty sure that constant improvement is the name of the game when it comes to mobile applications so consider yourselves losers.
