AT&T Mark the Spot for Android
Useless garbage. AT&T network sucks, and this app requires the network to report problems, so your in a no win situation. And if you happen to get a report submitted they never do anything to fix the problems
Reception has really become poor after last hurricane. Got a brand new SIM card and signal is no better. I used to get 3 to 4 bars. Now I see mostly 1. Both phones act the same. I live in a decent size city with no skyscrapers or mountains. Dropped calls are becoming annoying
Seems that this application has inadvertantly become the sound board for any ATT issues. Negative reviews seem to be about the network struggles in their area not on the tool itself. This is a diagnostic tool offered by ATT and it serves it's purpose. Use this tool to send reports to ATT so they're better equipped to provide support. That's all there is to it, no reason for all the neg reviews
The AT&T data network sucks! Paul and I are constantly having issues with service so every day or so we have to use this app and report issue but most of time we get spam calls, spam texts, and when we try to use our data on app's well, we get error messages so AT&T needs to dig deep into problem. There is people hacking data according to SAMSUNG. AT&T is about to loose a lot of business if they don't cure their data issues.
Keeps crashing and I can't see the menu when using the map. I sent multiple bug reports. Now, I need some technical support, but none to be found.
The app works but if you think AT&T will use it to help your coverage you are wasting your time. Less than a mile from a tower an of course it is my phone or I need to spend more money to get the service I am paying for.
Been with AT&T/Cingular/PacBell since 1999, back when I got 4-5 bars at home, inside. Today I'm lucky if I can send a text with no coverage to 2 bars. What good does it do? Been using this app for a few years, everyday and still my at&t service continues to diminish. I was told that by continually using this app it would only make me look like a complainer instead of a customer contributing to the database. I guess AT&T already knows they are choking our cell service. YEAH!!! Get this app and together let us flood at&t with reminders of who we are and how little they care!
There was no point to this app at all. It was better off calling customer service. All of their solutions were "planning in extending coverage"...blah blah blah
Well it'd be fine if they actually fix the issues like for instance actually fixing the data I mean I have to constantly brag up these things in order for them to even respond and they still haven't fixed it and it's been 8 9 weeks and I haven't gotten a response or a fixed yet
For this to be useful I would need to go around marking all of Loveland CO. Every year AT&T's service in our area gets worse. I keep hearing about new AT&T construction. What are they doing, going around ripping down towers???
It works well. The idea of having the application save your report temporarily until there's a reliable signal in order to send it is great. But "Other Location" in the "Find AT&T Wi-Fi Hotspots" tab does not work properly, no matter what coordinates I enter, it always shows Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which is about 500 Miles (About 805 Kilometers.) away from what I entered.
LTE coverage here near the intersection of Woodruff and Eight Mile Roads in Cincinnati, Ohio 45255 is still very poor and sketchy. Call quality is also bad and sounds garbled. I've submitted many entries on this app and made numerous calls and nothing ever improves or changes. Trouble tickets are never completed when I call in. Sprint and Verizon both have much better reception and sound quality here. Low reception and network congestion are causing these issues. This has been going on for over a year. Please AT&T fix the low reception and slow data in this area. There is a major highway right next to my house. Pathetic.
There's no reassurance. I've submitted a ticket via this app every single day for 3 weeks and haven't seen any communication other than a "thanks." takes me an hour to send a text. Wasn't that way until 4 weeks ago.
Will not load on my LG tablet which I use most often in my house. Having poor data service especially when there is a lot of traffic in the area
App is so broken. If you submit using GPS the "here" option it won't submit them. It only submits if you mark your location on a map
Poor service this tool only excuse for AT&T -you reporting and they dont do anything to help you .
If you ever experience drop calls for no reason, then this app is a must....keep updating & improving.
Completed improvements never seem to go away even if you answer the questions about the fix. The "30 second diagnostic" generally takes 5 minutes minimum.
Works well had a problem with the service and they fixed it thank you
Time will tell.... until service gets better, I'm rating this one star. Because honestly, what's the point. Improved service awaits a 5 star rating. That's my promise to this app.
Used this for 3 months and signal just got worse
AT&T is no good. Don't bother with this app
Great way to submit coverage reports about this spot "right here, right now". Easy to use, and gets the reports to the right people.
The app is ok, what is not ok is at&t charging a premium price in a major market & not deliver quality cell service.
Can you make it possible for us to tell you when something IS WORKING?
AT&T is typically quick to resolve reported issues in San Antonio, TX
Greatly improves my signal the second I open app.
Great app and ive seen this work before. Great job at&t
Not working
AT&T needs to be proactivitly responding to clients that are reporting issue and respond to a solution for us the clients instead of leaving us hanging. It should be a multi Language support, come in guys, your AT&T an established international recognized company. Also should explain the your clients of the complication of getting a new tower up in an area where there needs improvements.
Made Reception Worse! When I learned about this app, I had 1-2 bars in 3 spots in my house. After using this app, I'm lucky to get 1 bar outside on my deck.
Okay so recently my phone was acting up saying I had no service but I thought it was funny because I usually get service in those places. I restarted it, powered it off even for a day & still two days pasted the same thing! Then got WiFi read reviews & found this app. Put in my location submitted it & now my service is back to normal. I love it.
I was skeptical that any action would be taken to my reports. I reported a spot that has always been dead on my drive to work. I would drop a call in the same spot every day for years. About 3 days after I reported it the issue was resolved. Now when I drive by that spot I see a very strong signal.
Made serval reports over the past two years and have had a few come back with notifications of tower improvements and new towers. This does help but for those of you in rural areas tell all your friends to download this and report. Att may not look at one report with too much urgency but if you can get 25 to 50 of your friends to report it you will at least be on the radar.

The requirement of data to file a complaint about data being down is ridiculous. Info should be sent via text. Obviously if data is down then AT&T does not get the report until data is up or you go somewhere with data. Maybe in areas with multiple towers this works but in rural areas it does not work. I've reported the same problem over and over and it does not seem to do any good. I don't think AT&T really cares they just have this too try and make us feel better. Update...now this stupid app won't
Att says use the app it will improve your service after they get sufficient feedback. Bullshit, has not been effective after 6months of providing AT&T with constant feedback about dropped calls, unable to place calls or the party at the other end can't hear you. Worthless!!!!
For such a large corporations with equipment never designed to handle the volume, the response is positive. Yes, it takes a long time, but AT&T was just out here and upgrades within 2 months. Change does take time, and impatience I am seeing is ridiculous.
Somehow they think that we think this will help. But I am almost 100% certain it is a means to get us to stop tying up their customer service lines complaining about their subpar service. I will continue to call and harass them till they build a better network infrastructure with the millions that they are making off of us.

This app needs Improvement. No information about current outages in the network news tab. Requires a data connection to submit a report. Needs to be able to cash a report until a data connection returns. Another application that demonstrates AT&T is not thinking ahead very well designing and creating customer applications. Looks and feels like someone's College level application project. Needs professional assistance in order to complete a better user interface and application feature build-out.
