Atooma - Smart Assistant for Android
Thanks to Atooma -smart actions- you can automate all the manual operations you usually perform with your phone, sparing your precious time and creating new unprecedented functionalities.
Productivity, Wifi, Mobile Data, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Gmail, now you will be in control of your Android device.
▶ HOW DOES IT WORK?
IF something happens DO something else. This is the essence of a smart action. For example: IF I arrive at home turn on the Wifi, if I exit turn off the Wifi. Save on Dropbox every new picture I take with the phone’s camera. If battery life is low then turn off Bluetooth, lower display brightness and send an SMS to alert your dears.
In Atooma you will find pre-made smart actions based on different contexts, or you can create them from scratch choosing what you need step by step.
Set up to 5 IF conditions and 5 DO actions: you can choose between sensors, apps, mobile functions and connected objects like your smartwatch.
▶ WHY ATOOMA?
. Make It Simple
You don’t need to be a geek in order to use Atooma!
You may prefer using existing rules chosen by the Team or creating new ones following detailed instructions: Atooma will perfectly fit your lifestyle.
. Context Aware
Atooma can manage up to 5 IF conditions and 5 DO actions per smart action: thanks to this, your smartphone will react with the right interaction in the right timing.
. Ecosystem
We are always at work to add new functions to Atooma: new external app integrated, new connected devices, new sensors. And if you are an android developer, check our Plugin SDK: atooma.com/developers

Best of the tasker type apps, in terms of both design and features. Location accuracy is a problem though. Launching my shopping list at my store never works, even though I have rescanned the location several times. Strange, since the visible wifi ssids seem to be unique enough.
This app looks amazing. It looks like it would do everything I wanted it to. If only it gave me an option to log in without using Google+ or Facebook. How about I pay you five bucks and you give me a premium version? No? Fine. Uninstalled. I'm sick of this social networking nonsense.
The Good: Atooma is quick to respond to triggers, especially driving. The Bad: Atooma keeps stopping even though I've set my task manager to ignore it. It sucks up battery like there's no tomorrow. Wishlist: Tasker integration (trigger Tasker with Atooma). Read SMS sender name instead of number. Trigger on specific app launch.
Downloaded hoping I could set up an auto restart. Of course thats the one thing this app cant do. Which is too bad, because the interface is gorgeous.
Fc every time on my phone, note 4, would really like to try it with my gear 1.... am I doing something wrong
Recently stopped working. I double checked all settings but couldn't find any reason why it does not run schedules tasks automatically anymore.
Unchecking "Show notification while Atooma is running" will result in a pop up message saying "If you proceed, Atooma will be moved in background! As result, your rules may not works sometimes. Are you sure to proceed?"
Functions not working if we minimise r if Close da App. It should work assigned commands all da time then only purpose served r else no use pl correct this The Idea If n do actions pretty good
It's by far the easiest automation app out there, and closest to ifttt. Developers hasn't updated it for a long time... Looking forward for more social triggers, hoping they haven't stopped working on the app.
Great automation so far. Simple enough to use for the tasks I have set..... however I have found editing some atoomas can't be done and also it's pretty hard to test your Atooma to make sure it works correctly - it needs an option to 'pretend' all the 'if' factors have been met so it can execute the 'do' I would also like to see some more complex macros in the directory to really show its capabilities
Every time it try to load a smart action it says: Error administration mode disabled. I tried looking in admins to enable it but it wasn't there. Help me please, I love this application!
Good application for automation but have a problem managing already made (readonly) nfc tags, which force me to use another products, but who doesn't work with nfc tags, is good
Was working perfectly but recently just constantly stops working. Disappointed because it was the best one I've used so far. Uninstalled..... regrettably
App says you can try it as guest, cant do anything with with out logging into facebook or google, both logins i get a cant log in error. Waste of time dont download it. If the app MAKES you use a log in to use it, you would think thats part of the app would work!!!
The app does what it claims to do but it uses too much battery life to do it. My HTC M9 went from using 3% overnight while idle to using 20% overnight while idle after I installed and set up Atooma. I'd rather turn my WiFi and Bluetooth on and off manually rather than sacrifice 17% of battery life.
I like it except that I can't set it to turn my location on when I leave work. I can't leave location on all the time or my battery will drain, so why can't I tell it to turn location on at a certain time?
The app works perfectly fine, the menu is good and it's free, what could you want more. But I'm missing some functions like "turn off my mobile data" or multiple workflows - IF so, then A and B, ELSE B and C
I installed Atooma on my SAMSUNG Galaxy S5 and GEAR 2. My GEAR 2 says "No Atooma" and My phone gives me login error for both Facebook and Google+ login attempts. When I select try Atooma as Guest it says "No connection Available (TRY AGAIN)" but I have mobile data and Wifi connection at work. I don't know what else to do, I tried clearing cache from App Manager to no avail.
For those having issues, the app needs to remain running. I found that when I closed the app from the tray, automation stopped. It doesn't really use any battery so keeping it running should be a minimal drain on the battery.
Atooma has potential! It lacks in the number of features though like not being able to search smart actions, low number of if and do conditions as compared to similar apps and also it's integrity with smart wearable and it always shows me an error when I want to create a condition for my gear s2! Overall it does wat u need but doesn't give u the level of satisfaction! And yes pls do add the ability to have multiple if conditions ( both 'or' and 'and' based and not only 'and' based)
None of the rules I've made work. Tried a very simple one... if it detects my car's Bluetooth, open Google maps. Nope. I enabled notifications when a time has been triggered... nothing. Running on a Samsung G6.
Nifty app for those little annoying tasks that require you to bring out your phone, for me, it was restarting the Pandora app whenever it closed randomly after i turned my car off and such. Now i just flick my wrist and if im on my car, it restarts pandora. If there was a compatibility for my job, that would be great though. I would like to see skmething that when i make a motion or gesture during my work day (compatible with hot schedules a big plus) i can say an address and it will automatically route me.
Like so many other reviewers, I want to like this app but there are just so many things wrong with it. It seems confused by time zones (which is pretty basic) and gives you no way to say whether a time-based Atooma should compare against the time zone it was created in or the local time zone when it runs, Location-based Atoomas almost never fire, it's impossible to edit certain aspects of an Atooma after it's created, there's no easy way to create an inverse of an Atooma (to turn something back off), etc.
Good when it works. But the widget keeps crashing every phone restart. There are also several times when the bluetooth doesn't auto-connect when Atooma is running.
I've set up automation but they never work. I've even allowed atooma to run in the background
App has great interface and would probably be my favorite if it worked. However, that's not the case. Out of 4 smart actions only one actually works. There's no user accessible log or error message in order to troubleshoot this, which makes the app useless for me.
It's a nice app that I'm just getting used to. The creation of macros is pretty easy and the interface is mostly good...except for one thing: the IF...DO...layout is awful. I think it should be vertically constructed rather than scrolling horizontally. It makes it hard to gauge what each macro is doing. And yes, I know that it's written above in text format, but a nice list is always easier. Also, there appears to be no way to edit atoomas that I have saved.
Best free profile app. And so much more wirh smarthings integration. Can we get moto 360 and wink hub integration?
I seem to find a bug every ~15 minutes. How is this even possible. Not to mention you can't edit previous sequences. I call atooma 3.0 a downdate. It used to be fine, but now it is unusable.
Confusing, unintuitive and useless. Uninstalling right now. Users should not be asked to contact support unnecessarily.
I like what I see here, but my goal was to use Bluetooth device detection triggers. That functionality does not work on my KK LG G2 (D800). My Wi-Fi triggers worked as expected.
Love the app, great idea! Gs5's wifi timer is inconsistent atooma makes it consistent. Having trouble building arguements tho! It seems as tho it builds the conditional statement with an "or" command. Is it "if...and...also if...then" or "if...or...then"?
Too bad, i love the app. My battery life is just too short with it running.
Especially considering that it's free. I wish my paid apps were this well supported!
I know there are many bugs... I would like to tell u that the light sensitivity isn't working for my phone. Also the app malfunctions if its on a partial access network.. Please fix these..
Very nice app love how easy it is. One thing I think it need is option to kill running apps (like a close all open app if x is met) and to kill a running rule if another rule is met that conflicts with the running rule.
I really would like to be able to trigger An event by reading my calender and also being able to have the event limited to the specific title of the item in the calender. Eg. If "work" event in google calendar is current time = lower volume. This works be a great functionality, for anyone who is tired of forgetting to turn your volume down it up.
If you are not a total geek and find Tasker to be too much, Atooma is a fantastic alternative. It is well thought out and very simple to use. It is relatively new but is growing. I look forward to future advances.
Set programs would not engage.

I tried Atooma a little while ago, and I couldn't get on with it even though I love the idea... I've since tried Trigger and Agent, a combination of these two seem to do all I need, like if I plug in my headphones, the phone launches my music app, puts volume at a set level, plays whatever song is next in queue and also if I get a text it reads it out to me on the headphones... I have tried again to do this with the new version of atooma... And no, its not playing ball. Sorry.
