You have to insert a USB card in the back first to get live footage. If you don't it will say camera disconnected.i think the directions could of been written better because it took me and kids 45 min to figure it out.

It has gotten better over time. Still a bit clunky though.

Not bad but could be better. Camera will not stay connected to WiFi. Now the app keeps stopping on me. I understand I didn't get the top of the line security system, but still for something that is supposed to help keep my family safe, not really feeling that it's doing the job

Cost me 50 bucks could not get the app to connect.

It will work once and then you have to reboot it. For me it's heading to the attic. Pain in the ass.

I got one picture out of it after an hours of setting and resetting. I will be returning this first thing tomorrow morning. Sucks !!! Oh a good thing was the picture quiality. Good for 720.

I use the app to monitor the property, and I check the live feed and recordings several times daily. App crashes frequently, you can only view ONE video before it crashes, then you have to close, clear cache, and try, try, again. Very painful. C'mon, guys. You just published an update. How about fixing the current MASSIVE problems before you do anything else?

Works well as far as I can tell

Its a good camera but i lose signal then I have to reinstall it. When it works, it's great. It only has a 2 second delay, my other camera has an 8 second delay. And that makes a big difference when you have a child or a senior you are taking care of.

Downloaded the app and it just would not connect. Even after several hours of trying. Do not waste your money or recommend this to anyone it is a piece of junk and I'm taking it back right this moment after this comment. And also for the people who are commenting saying that it works great I believe that you are lying or you are part of the company and are required to say that. Just my opinion.

Used to work great now I cannot connect my home Wi-Fi to camera! All always says it "fetching " what a waste of a good thing! Smh

I can't even download the app! Several attempts and it freezes at 88%. Guess I am returning this camera that I didn't even get to use. Cannot change wifi settings!

This sucks. Sometimes the camera connects, sometimes it doesn't. Download the video and it doesn't save it anywhere. I looked all over and it's nowhere to be found even though the camera software says it's already downloaded! VERY UNSATISFIED.

Need to have the ability to set monitoring periods; not just limited to manually enabling.

Poorly designed UI, many usability issues.

A merry-go-round. Connect/disconnect/connect ... around we go. Camera not found. Reset per instructions, camera not found. If finally adds back to system, live view shows black. Return to prior page then press play again on live view, "loads" and promptly disconnects (again). My experience with the hardware/software ensemble suggests it's astonishingly non-robust, thereby not trustworthy, therefore useless (at least to me) Am using Galaxy S3 Mini Android Jellybean 4.2.2, well within the version requirements for the app. My first and last encounter with this manufacturer.

You can have your own security for an affordable price

It's not often when you don't have any use for a camera and an app even it was free. Unfortunately I paid for mine. Complete waste of money!

I got this security camera before reading the reviews on here and I was a little worried because it has so many bad reviews, but this thing is awesome and the app works really good. The night vision is clear and video is HD! I have a Samsung note and a Samsung tab. Maby people are not reading the directions right? It is sooo easy to use! I would and have recommend this for anyone...I am considering a 2nd camera now.

Tried for 6 months to get this working. Now I bought another camera. Don't waste your time with this.

Not intuitive and hard to figure out. Couldn't figure out how to set what an event is or when to be alerted. Email notification didn't work.

This works for setting up, if you do what the full manual says and not the quick start guide. That is a misleading pile of crap. Set your phone to connect to the camera's wifi and then run app or connect the microUSB cable to the camera and your router/switch then run app. App may die several times during setup. Worse thing is if you mount camera to ceiling the images will be upside-down. There is no top mount screw hole or position sensor in camera. App will not flip image. No setting to do this either.

The first set up went smoothly, when I added a second camera it was a little challenging, when I added a new router it was even more challenging, I had to uninstall and reinstall the app several times. In the end It all worked out...I had to use a paperclip in the back of the cameras to do a factory reset , I think those having issues might want to try that. As long as I have a siginal, I can be anywhere and watch whats going on at home. I picked up 2 cameras @75% off $140 ea, I wish I had purchased 3.

I'm taking this back to the store today is was a waste of time and money.

Have this camera now for two weeks and we can't get it to work , not on my android phone and not on my mac . Going to try again tech support , not much hope . Thing looks nice but until now completely worthless , waisted money .

Doesn't even work, keeps knocking me off my WiFi and connecting me to someone else's when i try to connect to the camera
