USGS DRG topographic maps:
The 7.5-minute maps (1:24.000/1:25.000) are the best maps for outdoor activities in the USA. Although some of the maps are quite old, they contain many small pathes and 4WD tracks that are missing in new USTopos, Google, Bing and OSM maps.
New US Topo Maps:
US Topo maps are a graphic synthesis of The National Map data files and are produced in the familiar 7.5-minute by 7.5- minute geographic format. Current US Topo map layers include an orthoimage base, transportation, geographic names, topographic contours, boundaries, hydrography and woodlands. Also included are the Public Land Survey System (PLSS) and the United States National Grid.
NAIP Orthoimagery:
Seamless coverage of contiguous US with 1m/pixel resolution
HRO aerial imagery:
High resolution arial photos covering US urban areas & borders (up to 10cm/pixel)
Use this navigation app for outdoor activities like hiking, biking, camping, climbing, riding, skiing, canoeing, hunting, snowmobile tours, offroad 4WD tours or search&rescue (SAR).
Add custom waypoints in longitude/latitude, UTM or MGRS/USNG format with WGS84 datum.

Best maps,bar none. I highly recommend it. Download now and you won't be disappointed. More than just topo's.After I installed it I no longer saw a need for Google earth,since the aerial views are clearer in this app.so I uninstalled Google Earth. Keep up the good work guys!

I actually seldom even leave reviews for apps. One reason is because so many of them ask you to review their product immediately after installing them. But, nope, not here. I really can't emphasize how important this is to me. Of course, now I'm going to render myself a hypocrite as I've only just now installed it. This review is therefore based on two things: 1) The program installation, and 2) My reading of the End-User Agreement during the installation. Yes guys, there are folks that actually read these things... I was singularly impressed by the authors NOT whining and trying to coerce me into giving a review before I have used one, single function. In addition to this, I really liked the level of transparency in their EUA/EULA. Especially near the back. For a product that is not ..required.. to divulge their supply chain details, I was VERY happy to see the extent to which they did so. I find it quite unlikely that a company that gives that kind of courtesy to their clients is going to weasel out on their products, features or support. That being said, once I get into actually USING the program, I will edit this Rating to reflect any perspectives that I find different; either lower or higher. (I suspect that I will be raising it to 5 stars, but the proof is "in the pudding." We shall see...)

Free version is very limited. Only allows 3 waypoints and doesn't allow you to create routes. If you pay for the full version, it is good. However, the free version is worthless.

Uses OLD maps.. shows maps with some landmarks haven`t been in existance in nearly 40 years (nearby gravel pits that closed in the 1970's. Been a housing developmenr for at least 20 years
