Learn German. Speak German

It's easy to use, and I like the points leaderboard, however, I also wish there was a US English version, in addition to the British English version. Every now and then, the translation of a sentence doesn't quite make sense. It would also be nice if there was some actual instruction to help navigate the sentence structure rules, instead of just sticking purely with direct translations of nouns, verbs and sentences.

The app is presenting technicals problems in all core lessons in French, Spanish and German classes. I can't type and they put wrong to me. Because my keyboard doesn't appear to type. Please, fix this problem!

App is great but I wish there was a way to consult questions about some of the words and phrases. For example why is it mein vater but then it's meine mutter? Why are they different? Is there a rule to it? Other than that great app I'm liking it so far. Danke for a great app.

I've got problem with voice and sound. There is no voice, when u try to complete the task or lessons, nothing happened, when u try to push the button with speaker on it. The app is silent and it's not cool guys . I checked all the switches, all is on. So what's up? I can't use it properly. I am incredibly happy with learning German using the Mondly German learning language software for my Android phone. The interface is very easy to use, very professional-looking, great high quality graphics, photos and icons and is a lot of fun to use! I am planning on a visit to Germany and will be prepared to speak the language to locals and make my way around quite well, thanks to this fantastic application. I am highly recommending it to newbies like me!

It's great no ads. Premium is pretty expensive, but not necessary. I would like and option to buy certain parts of the premium though, it would be nice.

You can't teach German without the gendered articles. Omitting them in lesson makes the language much harder to learn in the long run.

It was awesome until I got to a point where I am forced to purchase the premium or I can't move on. Is this a app error or am I forced to buy the year premium if I want to continue?

This is a short trial version. Unless you pay, this app won't do much for you. I'm still confused as to why you teach a few words then expect us to do full blown sentances where ONE word we were taught is used while the rest we must guess at. Im pretty sure there is a better way!

Good app for learning on the go. Like the chat bot feature as well as helps to hear yourself back. Only thing is that the daily lessons are a bit random.

Thievery -- plain and simple. I used a free trial period to test it out; however, as I browsed through the app to search for other features and settings, I toggled a switch for the Spanish language. This action automatically charged me $7.99, even though I had not completed my trial period. I did not agree to pay this amount, and the total was taken from my google account without my explicit permission.

The translations aren't correct. I.e. my name is ...? It's the wrong words in german or vise versa. Sure the meanings are similar, but not the same words. Uninstalled.

As an educator, I can see that this app has been very well designed for optimum language learning. I love the emphasis on correct pronunciation along with opportunities to recognize and spell words and write simple sentences. The pictures are fresh and modern. Lots of variety in the interactive experiences. Strong encouragement to practice daily.

"Great tool" I love How easy it is to learn different languages for really cheap! I'm going to get the full version soon, All 34 languages for only $50 a year! Amazing. I'd give it 170 stars for all the language's they have but nah,. Anyways, Give it a try. You literally can't be disappointed, .

The app is very good and easy to use...I purchased the Premium version and it's definitely worth it...one thing I noticed with the new update...the word that we have to choose the correct translation for it's not visible...the background now is white and the word font is also white...keep up the very good work!

Unlike Duolingo, it is very organized and categorized and therefore so much better for me. So many ways to learn and so easy to follow. The way it's constructed is addicting and makes me want to sit and learn all the time! Love it!

I really like the look idea and way of learning however it would be also good to have everything what i learn in PDF in my language in one side and the translation in another side so I would also memorising the words while im without my phone

If you put croatian as a native language you could have put serbian, the difference is not big but is still annoying at times

Plz put article on the names, otherwise you cant learn german. If you do that 6 stars from me.

Great app. I'm finding myself remembering words I have learned with ease. It takes time and patience and you have to stick with it everyday.

Ive started 2 days ago, and so far so good, I know more words in german that I would ever think of knowing, I recomend to start the lessons along with a note pad.

I'm using the Japanese one and its pretty good I'm learning slowly but surely the only reason I rate 4/5 is because I still didn't use it yet

The concept is amazing. However, the nouns in German do not have the gender article which undermines one's ability to use learned words in useful sentences

Great for learning German! I already know quite a bit, and the techniques they use are really helpful and help you understand it quickly.

I am fluent in both Spanish and German, and I'm teaching my older children (6 and 4) how to speak German now. They really love learning different languages and my daughter had asked me what other languages she could learn, and which languages I knew? I told her that I know some Russian, but I would really need to brush up on it before I taught them. Yesterday I found this app and tested it out before buying it , and I love it! I told my kids about it and they enjoy the quizzes, games and practicing repeating the words. My husband wants to learn Hebrew and Gaelic. I don't see Gaelic on the app, but Hebrew is there! :) It's a great app for the entire family!

The app is crashing today continuously showing not able to connect the server. My net connection is proper and it was working very nicely till last 2 days. Otherwise the app is really good to learn with all sound ( pronunciation) and visual effects. Will surely give 5 rating if it becomes stable.

Love the free trial. Will definitely consider purchasing. I took German 15 years ago in college and in just a few minutes of using this app I was putting together complete sentences. It reminded me of what I forgot and built on to what I remembered. However, it could be improved by having to record and speak every word. It boost my confidence each time I pronounced words and phrases correctly and the app acknowledged it.

I like the playfull way of learning new language, but there is lot of other application that offer in my oppinion the same enviroment and structure of application, which is why I do not see how this application stands out. And as some other application, also this one teaches german vocabulary without articles. I do not consider it much helpful for those who learned language before and want breach reintroduction of theri lesson and continue with new thinks. Without paying for it, that is.
