ATI RN Mentor - NCLEX Prep

So far it is the best one I have used. I am able to get grades so I can submit them. And it's not filled with ads nor has it wanted me to pay for anything as of this time

I like how the rationales are present to direct why I was right or wrong. I hate how it marks me wrong on the select all that apply when I did choose the correct answers.

Fine for NCLEX practice but after a while the questions start to repeat; perhaps adding some questions would be a good idea. It's pretty frustrating when "select all that apply" questions are marked incorrectly despite being correct. Sometimes the rationals are wrong too. Someone needs to update this app STAT!

Not based on the 2016 test plan. Grain measurements aren't even tested anymore....so why so many of them here? Can't flag questions because it'll crash. Calculator is terrible because it doesn't tell you if actions like multiply, divide, etc. have been entered. Select all that apply questions are continually marked wrong even if you make the correct choices. There's no way of taking a quiz with ALL the questions from a specific area which means you'll get repeats on taking another quiz in the same section. Counterproductive. OK for some basic review though.

I bought the app presuming I would get a variety of questions in each content area. I was disappointed when I discovered this was not to be. At present time, maternal has 66 questions & children does not seem to have more than about 125. My school relies on ATI for a large percentage of our grade so I was hoping the extra practice with ATI style questions would help. Unfortunately this was not the case. I regret having spent the money on the app when the free version seemed to have about the same content.

I use this app on my android phone. I didnt have to log in or pay for it. ATI is what my school uses as supplemental material inpreparation for the NCLEX. The only reccomendation I have is to add "Community Health" as a clinical site. I use this app to help me prepare for my ATI tests, so it would be helpful to have that area added.

There have been numerous comments about how this app has issues with the select all that apply type questions.... and if that was never fixed, I seriously wonder if their actual content is up to date eifher. It helped me a bit for my school ATI exams, but not for the NCLEX.

Mainly there is no way to report a bugged question. Sometimes there will be select all that apply questions that don't register correctly or a question that says it is correct in the rationale, but then says that you got it wrong.

I guess ATI forgot about this project? I've been using this app for over 6 months. I did not feel like it helped me prepare for my mental health ATI, which I bombed. Yet I still scored higher in my mental health course than any other nursing course so far. I still furiously used this app, blindly hoping that it would help me do better in my next 3 ATI tests. I still never did any better on them. Just now, I had the realization to come and double check on when this app what last updated. 2013. What. The. F?!

Love that this app gives me more review questions, but the grading is everywhere. I went back to reviewed my questions and half of my answers got switch off to wrong answer and marked as incorrect.

This would be a good app if it wasn't so glitchy. When I read the rationales it says I picked the right answer but it marks me wrong! Especially with the SATA questions! Happens a lot!

I don't understand how for a paid app, that I have the same questions from when I purchased it 2 years a ago. Not enough updates, no work is being put into this app that I can see. I'm disappointed. Right answers being marked wrong

I purchased this today while it was half off and so far it seems ok but I'm bummed it won't let me share on Facebook like it's supposed to be able to do. When I try to share, it just sits idle loading for about 5 minutes and then the app crashes. Definitely glad I didn't pay full price for this.

On the SAP questions even if you get them correct it marks them as incorrect. If you read the rationale you are right.

More often than not, my correct answers to "select all that apply" questions are marked as incorrect. I keep seeing the same questions used in quizzes, regardless of the subject. It's an okay app, but I'll be looking for another to make sure I'm prepared.

Please get this fixed asap. I like the app. Wish there were more subjects to acess. Problem is on some Q's even if I selected the right answer, it will say it's incorrect. This messes up my score. Please fix this and I'll give more stars.

App does not recognize correct answers. I have several times selected the correct answer only for the app to tell me that my answer is wrong. With sata questions if the sequence is not in the exact order as the app its wrong even if all the selected options are correct. With math, sometimes if you'd don't have the units at the end of the answer its wrong....but you only have the input option of numbers only. Glad I only paid half price for this app.

Overall, this app is somewhat helpful in helping me prepare. The rationales are a great way to learn, even if I got the question wrong. My only complaint is with the select all that apply questions. More often than not, they are marked incorrect even though I've answered them correctly. Definitely frustrating! I've also had trouble bringing up the rationale on hot spot questions. Not really helpful when I can't see why I got it wrong.

It's about 50/50 whether or not the app will score your answer correctly. NONE of the "select all that apply" are correct. Slim selection of questions, you'll be seeing repeats within two or three run throughs. Misspellings and grammatical errors. At this price, it's pretty unforgivable. To add insult, the iOS version is much more polished (have used it on gf's iPhone 6+). Two thumbs down, and middle fingers up

This app is great until you have to develop a study plan. The select all answers are all marked wrong no matter what you answer and the answers selected changed after submission, so if you want to use your results to plan you will not be able to.

I keep getting marked wrong for ones I got right even when placed in alphabetical order. Also, some of these questions are not formed well unlike the actual ATI site.

I use this a lot during my downtime. I did find that sometimes during random quizzes it would give me the same question twice. Also, it won't let post results to Facebook even though I logged in on the fb app as well as my phones browser.

Select all that apply questions are STILL glitchy. App marks me wrong even though my selections are marked as correct. Seems to be getting worse as time goes on. Judging by others reviews, it doesn't seem to be a priority to fix it anytime soon by ATI. Please ATI let's get an update correcting this issue and new questions! Until then, I do not recommend purchasing this app. I would like a refund at this point.

Great App. I especially appreciate the fact that the rationales are there with each question and response. It does not matter what year you are because you can make the quizzes for a specific or broad range of skills. The only problem I have now is that when I took a junior level courses and the ATI exam only asked me the same fifty questions over and over again when you focus in on a specific area. That is not good when you pay that much for an app.

Select all that apply have to be answered in alphabetical order. Example: BDE not DEB. It will count it wrong if out of order. This needs to be fixed. Also, better rationales needed for some questions. I'm certain the app will improve my scores, just see some things that could improve the app!

Almost every SATA question I get says my answers are wrong when the rationale tells me it right. Please fix as my score isn't being reflected correctly.

It freezes and says my SATA are wrong when they are right. Sometimes they won't even light up like I touched on them. Great app if that didn't happen!

These are not critical thinking questions. They are easy recall questions that I will likely not even see on the NCLEX. The NCLEX Mastery app is way better and has new questions all the time.

I find that the questions are too easy. Also select all that apply is always marked wrong even though I am right. I also need more questions on the medical surgical and maternal newborn nursing especially. Fix all these issues and I will give it 5.

Need to be able to report errors. Some of the questions have glitches and even when ya pick the right answer it tells ya ur wrong. Also need bigger selection of questions for focused quizzes, such as the maternal child health questions.

I have a few problems with this app. The first problem is that the Select All That Apply questions are almost always marked wrong even when your answer agrees with the rationale. My other problem is that the questions are always the same. I've had the app for over a year and I don't ever see any new questions. Fix those problems and I'd give the app 5 stars.

This App is awesome because you could customize it to your weaknesses and take as many as 100 questions at a time. I took one star off because on the select all that apply questions I would choose the right answers, but it was marked wrong for some reason. Other than that, great app to use when preparing for nclex!

I like the variety of question types and the number of questions. Sometimes the rationales are helpful, but others simply say, "this is not the appropriate action for this client. The "select all that apply" questions are ALWAYS marked wrong, even when I get them right. Very disappointed that I spent money on this app. With all these problems, an app with such low quality should be free.

The questions and rationales do help and everything but compared to the actual secured ATI exams, this app seems way too easy.

I use this in conjunction with my school's study plan for nclex. W e are required to do 3000 questions and turn in proof. As far as selection and quality of questions this app is the best for the price..but I spend way too much extra time proving I got answers right and actually got a better score, than I really do learning and advancing my test-taking skills. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!

Just fix the bugs with the select all that apply questions !!
