About BSAS
The guide app for the BSAS Annual Conference 2017.
Changing political landscapes, technological developments, climate change and increasing demand for food mean today’s animal scientists are facing some of the biggest challenges - and opportunities - in a generation.
How are they going to harness the skills and information they need to find answers? Where are the developments in technology being made to help them? And how will they get the support and funding needed to drive developments and knowledge to create sustainable livestock systems?
Join the British Society of Animal as it brings together experts from across the globe to try and answer these fundamental questions and others at the BSAS 2017 Annual Conference.
Held at the University of Chester on 26 and 27 April, the two-day day event will focus on what’s next for global animal science and production, looking at developments in scientific technologies as well precision agriculture techniques.
Special industry sessions will focus on the latest developments animal health, nutrition and performance, while experts will tackle a range of other subjects including the latest in equine science, welfare measures of pigs, antimicrobials, and dairy cow fertility.
