ASUS AiCloud

(1) If you navigate via a favourite shortcut, the blue icon to upload a file is missing. (2) When I upload a file, it always renames the file by adding ".asusupload" file extension, (3) and if I use the option to manually rename it, then it errors. (4) I have a LabelWriter 4XL printer connected to the router via USB (and it works fine from Windows) but there is no option to print using the app: please could you make printing possible from the app to the printer attached to the router? Thank you.

I can see the files already there but I can't upload. The screen to find files in SD card is difficult to navigate and once you get there there's no option to upload it. The only way to upload I've found is copy and pasting file by file manually from the SD card to the router USB. Even then it doesn't start uploading no matter how many times I try to resume it in the tasks bar. The FAQ tutorial was also unhelpful as the supposed add button didn't exist.

UPDATE (Oct 6): STILL BROKEN. STILL THE DEVELOPER IGNORES MY EMAILS. For some reason, this app displays almost all text in a foreign language on Android Nougat (7.0 NBD90Z) This makes the app virtually unusable! There seems to be no way to override this. Couple this with the fact that it now no longer does anything when I try to open a video, leaves me thinking that it now serves no useful purpose for me. This is the only app I have which has misbehaved in such a way with Nougat.

This program works well from any location. I have been able to view and download movies easily. However, I cannot view jpegs or other formats above 500kb. Below that amount, all pictures, pdf, etc are visible. I would gladly give this app a 5+ for this glitch to be fixed.

Used to be able to watch files from my router hard drive anywhere. In 4g and WiFi. Now I can see the files but once I click on them they never load up to actually watch. Also used to be able to download files to my router when not on my home network. That no longer works.

OMG this is so bad, useless, worst than Webstorage. Please guys do something similar like Onedrive from Microsoft which work flawless but i would love to use ASUS services since my phone is asus, laptop, pc, monitor smartwatch... i think we deserve more!

Worked fine for a couple hours then while watching a movie it asked me to log back in and now won't accept the login for my shared folders. Haven't been able to fix it for days and gave up

Works really great. Also when I'm outside my network the only issue is the fact that it keeps changing language to some unknown language. I want English, set it to English it restarts app and it's English after 10 sec it is changing back to some unknown language

Language Bug on Android N. The language randomly changes no matter how many times you set the default. makes navigation impossible.

It was working fine until the previous update. For no reason the default language is set as Malay, and even after changing the language in settings, it still reverts back to Malay! Frustrating! I don't even have Malay as a selected language on my phone! Please do something about it!

my router is RT-AC51U. i updated my Firmware 3.0.0.4.378.9135 to 3.0.0.4.380.3625 . now ai cloud is not working ,not found my router in app but before is worked fine. i also updated aicloud apps new version .i saw previous version was working fine. pls fix this problem asap.please let me kw asus team

I give it a -1 but it's not possible. I've moved to Nougat 7.0 and now this app is not in English and doesn't work! This has rendered my cloud on my Asus router useless. Thanks to the slackers at Asus for allowing this garbage to be released without testing.

Used to love this app. Upgraded to Android 7.0 and yup the language is all weird. As a lot of the comments I see below this is a huge problem that the developer looks to be ignoring. I will gladly change my review if there is a fix.

Great app for streaming music and photos. Some "lag" but it's a possibility that it is because I don't have a USB 3.0 hard drive connected to my Asus router

In some sort of gibberish language. Eula etc in english all input elements in gibberish. Dammit asus you have fallen from grace of late. Sick of this subpar quality.

It works well what would be nice is a back up function like dropbox were all my photos taken on my phone get copyed to my drive also unrelated a mirror function on the router would be nice so i can have a copy of the drive raid stile would be ace ☺

STILL BROKEN, 28/NOV/16 - Still broken, Nov 15th 2016. - I'm not installing on a polish language device, yet it wants me to accept terms and conditions in what appears to be polish. A bug with Android N I guess. Still broken, Nov 15th 2016.

I get a long URL that says the resource can't be found when I try to open a file. It doesn't work internally or externally.

DSL-N66U (browser login is work)

The app starts up in what appears to be Indonesian language. Since my phone is set to English language, this is strange, and since I don't understand whatever language it is, it renders the app completely unusable.

The app worked well at first (over Wi-Fi and 4G LTE/cellular) and then somebody had the (so called) bright idea to update the app, and promptly BROKE it. Now finally after some months it was "updated" again, and it WORKS (at least for me and my set up). THANK YOU ASUS for not giving up on this, and making things right again.

It connected to the router once. Then, I could never connect again, no matter what I did. It is indeed useless. I wonder why Asus linked their name to this crap.

I can stream movies from connected devices on RT-N66U to my Galaxy S4 5.0.1 again. Thanks for fixing!

Trying to login to my router, but get some DUT error. Username and password of my N17U is correct.

Have been working well since i use ac66 to ac87 to ac5300 however recent update the apps cannot connect to my router everything i exit the apps. When i go in the apps again it say router offline. And the port setting auto change to 0 (by right 443). Every time i need to manually add router each i go in the apps please help.

Would be nice if there was a widget where you select a computer on your network so you could wake on lan remotely through the ddns and also see its status to see if that computer is switched on

Set to Indonesian by default. WHY? This app is half decent but it's set to Indonesian by default. I managed to convert it to English but I had to guess my way through. I sense that Asus has contracted out the development of this to Indonesia and our friends over there decided that Indonesian should be everyone's first language. Well done...

Nexus 5x in English but the entire app is in Polish? Useless..

English??? Compatibility is good, but I am not comparable with the language displayed. App absolutely useless. Old worked very good.

Doesn't display English when updating to Android Nougat, and changing to English is almost instantly reverted back to whatever default language it has chosen . Problem has been previously raised but Asus refused to bother fixing it

Now using HTC10: getting error when I try to download load an entire folder that it failed to get the file list from the router. I can only download groups of individual files and not folders. This happens both when I am on the home network and away. I am admin so all settings should be open. Please help. Crashes at Startup on LG g4

I've click the 'File Download' of the pic i want then it's on the task but the download button does't work ..just open the full photo size when i clicked on it

Hard to use and can't change the language until after setup!

After around 10 minutes of streaming a movie to my Chromecast from an external drive the app crashes. Occasionally it even crashes when not streaming but only watching on phone

It's terrible it downloads in some weird language that I can't understand so I can't navigate the nenus. I regret now having bought an Asus Reuter. Never again !

Crashes frequently. This app crashes every time I attempt to access files from my phone to upload, and will not download files from connected storage.

Incredibly bad Chromecast support. Sound keeps playing on my phone even after aicloud has stopped and causes my phone to freeze up and force a restart.

Tried on two devices and two asus ac1900 and both failed. Waste if time so far
