ASUS ZenFit for Android
Seems alright. I cannot test the accuracy as I do not have a pedometer to compare to. However, I do not understand why Google Fit and this app show different readings. Suggestion: Please integrate different apps & hardware Integrating other heart rate monitors would be ideal (Scosche Rythm+) Integrating other software too - like Sleep as Android for Sleep tracking Thank you.
I have Zenwatch 2. It frequently freeze during workout - running. Illegally stop counting the run. I haven't received a responds till now and looks like I am not the only person facing the problem.
Ok, tried again 3/2017. No, Zero steps...Still crap. I gave this app, a third try. 1. Eats my battery. 2. Steps on phone app don't match those on zen watch??? S Health which I used with a Samsung Smart Watch is also more accurate. The app is the biggest disappointment of Zenwatch 2 still.
Since the last up date I can't see any heart rate history that was recorded on my zenwatch showing up in the phone app....disappointing as this is an important piece of data....if I use the phone to record it then is ok.....grrrr
Edit: Thank you very much! Also the ability to turn off the zenfit goal notifications wouldn't be a bad addition either.....it's a little bit pestering....thanks again! Uprated once updated. FINALLY UPDATED!!! Solid update!! Updated to 4 stars now! Soo much better!
Horribly inaccurate as it logs thousands of steps while driving. I don't know how to reset it or disable it? But it should know driving anyway. Really a pain to have to figure that out everyday.
It stops working suddenly and after the long walk when u open your mobile to see the distance or calorie... you will be disappointed two see a blank screen and it asks... start work out.
The app needs more options. The app seems to be more battery draining. The data from Zenfit and google fit are entirely different too.
Good luck with this app overall and easy set up with Zenwatch 2. This is about my V tracker and our smartwatch. But I do wish that the sleep tracker will allow me to look at the time zone asleep and analyze the actual time of night when I was in a deep sleep, awake Etc as all the other apps I have used do.
Works great. Using it on my ZenWatch 2. I love that it since with Google fit. When I run Google fit on my watch it eats a ton of battery. With this it uses 1% of my total battery usage and if/when I switch to another device, and it happens to be something other than Asus my data will be waiting in Google fit
In general I really like this app and it has a nice clean interface. The sleep tracking feature is what really interests me, and it seems to work well and be much more efficient at managing overnight battery life than other sleep trackers as long as you use theater mode. If I charge my Zenwatch 2 every morning, it has plenty of juice to last all day and track my sleep at night, which is about as good battery performance as one could expect with current smartwatches. The main feature of a sleep tracker in my opinion, however, is a smart alarm to wake you up at the optimum point in your sleep cycles, and I can't seem to find this feature anywhere in the app. I'd definitely give it a higher rating if it had a smart alarm clock! Being able to view both your Daily activity and sleep data on the web would be very nice as well. Add these features and I think you'd have a built-in app that Zenwatch users would really enjoy. Update - The new interface update is nice, but still no smart sleep timer, which really is the primary point of an app like this.
Need 2 improvents, first is idle alert, after sitting for long time, it alerts. The other one is sleep track, start to support multi sleep per day
Recently phone is not picking up data from watch! This bums me out
Overall app seems to be working only issue is with the step counting which does not stop when driving or in transit. It keeps on counting which gives a inaccurate step counting at the end of the day.
Most of the time it will not show me my sleep data, once in a great while it will, then the next day it's all gone again.
My asus ze520kl has no "sleep" feature which i want the most. I am disappointed when i found out after downloading this application.
The steps are not accounted for accurately. Very disappointing as I used this app to replace my Fitbit.
Need improvement..... like need voice instraction, social connection like facebook and google+, widgets or notification update..alarm update and lots....as a asus user we need thia features..... do u provide us that??
I like it, but why there is no history ofy work?
And all that data is erased making app worthless
Tracking is not accurate misses whole day's of steps the graph is rubbish
Kept freezing. Uninstalled it, re installed it. No luck. Looks nice, does not work at all.
This should tell us how much calories we take in daily and how much calories we loss daily
One Tap Start / Pause widget is a must. Please update. It will be nice if it can auto detect my walk. And when i stop it pause..
Nu se sincronizează cum trebuie cu ceasul.Apare o eroare si nu imi da voie sa ii dau permisiunea de a accesa body sensor
Nice app but can you tell me how to choose wprkout into pushup, sit up and run because i cant find those option
Waste time in setting day of birth. Stupid apps
Sometimes it shuts off and it's often not accurate
Love it works good as accurate as any others I tried just wish it had its own account to sync to not just Google fit
Doesn't count the steps properly... hugely dejected
This app can work without Internet. It can track us with GPS where we are going
Does not show any of my sleep or steps. I have now been using google fit
Does not let you add activities like in Google fit. No auto detection as well.
When we walk it should be start but it is continuous the step count in the rest also
How this work on my ZenFone ZE551ML, how this measure heart rate without any sensor?
I like it. Like other users I have found a discrepancy with ZenFit and Google Fit. But unlike other users I found Google fit to be the battery hog not a ZenFit. I have no way of determining which is more accurate. Twice I have seen a drastic increase in steps for no reason. There is no way I walked 44 kilometers at work in one day. All in all it seems okay. I did not buy the ZenWatch2 as a fitness tracker after all. I am enjoying the sleep tracking data and looking forward to future updates.
I don't think that my steps are real accurate, and do not sync properly between watch and phone. Sync should be more frequent and more accurate. And I would LOVE a steps widget like Noom has for the phone so I can glance and see steps without going into the app. Especially since steps take FOREVER to show up on the watch. I thought this watch (Zenwatch 2) would be better than my old LGG watch but so far, functionally, could have saved my money. The next week - not even rolling over to 0 steps at midnight Months later. Accuracy seems better, there have been updates.
The app has deleted a whole day's worth of steps and is now logging a day behind. In the "month" view where it should be logging today's step's (the 14th) it is logging today as the 13th. The watch still has the missing day on it, but not the app. Can you help me correct this? Otherwise I will assume the app is buggy and unreliable.
Have only had it successfully track a workout once. Every time it says the app stopped responding and it records zero information about the workout despite having tracked the steps. What good is it if it can't track a workout? Doesn't give me idle alerts, doesn't show me where I walked, doesn't come close to figures reflected in Google Fit. Submitted a bug report and got a useless response in broken English from Asus - ie they don't even have reasonable troubleshooting options. Complete waste.

Not happy, every app you can use for your Zenwatch does not count the calories that are burned everyday regardless of movement. It's 2017 we want accuracy.
