Share Link – File Transfer

Since my mobile device's ability to connect to laptop via USB is faulty, this app saved the day. With device serving as hotspot and laptop connected to it, file transfer was very easy and efficient using this app, without needing to use up mobile data to transfer over internet. Great help! This is my first impression at least, since I just started using it an hour ago.

When i connect my pc to my phone unlike my previous Android phones wherein i could freely transfer files and choose location, view my phone contents on pc.. zenfone has only one option this f up app that stores everything on phone memories, transfers 1 file at a time, have to select each files manually , time consuming, frustrating & makes me cry at times. Can't even open the sdcard content of my phone on pc nomore. What were the developers thinking? Were they on weeds? Will go bk to Samsung this Christmas!

Highly Recommended! I personally test apps and firmwares a lot, so I wanted a way where I don't have to use cables or remove msd cards from my mobiles. It would be more efficient and lessen the wear & tear of the devices and the computer ports. I researched and... I have Samsung mobile devices and was surprised that Share link (Asus) beats Sidesync (Samsung) out of the gate. Sidesync could not even connect with my devices, no matter what I did. Shareit (Lenovo) coerces you to use their app, I don't like that so I didn't even run it. In contrast, Share Link loaded quickly, easy to understand and had no issues. I pushed a 1.23 GB firmware package, it didn't even break and completed it under 5 minutes; network connection also being a speed factor. No complaints here. Now, if only the developers could give an option to push a file to the external sd card, then that would be so great... will continue to test further. The idea of the app is fantastic, however, it is really buggy. When I transfer files, it loads only a couple, then the wifi disconnects, and it asks me to rate the app and closes my session thus causing me to start over again.

I love this application so much, it is easy to use, but lately whenever I open this application a pop-up message shows up and it tells me that there is a new update, and I click ok which leads me to play store, but there is no update there, so I try to uninstall it and install it again, but the pop up message still showing up, this is not really annoying, but it must be better if there is no false notification about software update, thanks. The files transferred form PC to phone reflect in file manager, but not in gallery. Tried restarting n moving the folder n pics to local albums. Didn't work

The older version got no issues. This one on phone cause Wifi hotspot that links PC and phone stopped and need re-clicking everytime. The one on PC also shows as 'stop working' everytime after download complete. Please fix both issues on phone and PC. Thank you.

Before this, all the apps to share between the phone and pc were complicated, asking for IP addresses and all kinds of stuff. This app is simple, straightforward, and works as advertised. And it's free!

Useful for instant & fast file sharing. I have not rated 5 stars bcoz sometimes it fails to connect to even other Asus phone. Then it needs to shut down & reopen.

It is quite helpful. No disappointment. Easy to use. Never knew such an app existed. After my Phone became unreadable by most laptops, it became difficult to transfer files to and fro systems. Share link is it.

One thing that still has me using Dukto is its ability to send text copied to the clipboard. Seems ShareLink can't. Being able to share an image straight to Instagram from the receive log, rather than digging for it among one's albums would be a nice plus.

One thing that makes me love this app so much is the auto-allow feature. I've used other apps on the store which though provide more functions, this one works best

I've totally curious in this problem, i trying to send file to other mobile phone and he used it a Share it. But once i sending one file its not found? How can i fix this?

If you care about your gadget's safety from getting viruses from plugging it in different PCs then this app is just great. It also saves the hassle.

It's a super way of transferring files quickly from one device to another. It's a hassle, sometimes, trying to find a cord to connect my pc to my phone so that i could transfer files, bit with this app, I just need wifi and I could send files at my convenience

My phone's hotspot is functionally ok but in this app, my phone cannot detect anyother and vice-versa.

Turns my wifi off when clicking recieve. When I turn it on sometimes it sends the files, sometimes it craps out. Then I try reconnect to send the failed files, and it won't find my device. Dumbbb

Its a good work around when mtp/usb not detected. Kinda slow but not sure if thats the apps fault or slow cp processor.

First, i cant connect my device to pc even though i've tried many usb cables already. It just wont read. And so i tried downloading this app to my pc to see if i could work things out, and i couldnt. My pc's not detecting my phone and vice versa. You know what I'm thinking? That maybe they intentionally wrecked the usb connection so that we would install this app to both our pc and phone(update since it already has it) still, I dont like how my phone works right now. I just bought this 3 months ago.

The app is awesome. But the main problem is it suddenly stops when it's running in background. I request the developer to fix. Apart from that every features of this app is good.

Its so great. I dont need cable anymore to send my files to my computer. It'll be nice if we can choose which folder the files will keep. Anyway,, its really great.

Before update it was working fine with shareit but after the update I can't use it to send files to shareit

Im curious about this app so i try it then i also download the window version and i am amazed very fast of transferring data a must have app very useful and the great is theres no annoying adds unlike the shareit theres always adds when it open but this one is very very great im not often rating an apps but this one deserve it so i try to rate but only 4 stars because im trying to change the storage location to my sd and i cant change it the files i transfer to my phone from pc is save in my phone memory

Far easier concept than the other file transfer programs. Very simple, once I figured out that you have to click an Icon on the PC besides the send receive buttons. Other programs require you to establish a connection to their servers which doesn't seem to work. I'll keep this one. Also, allows transfer both ways (PC to phone and phone to PC).

by time you do all the clicking just to get to the receiving of the file it takes as long as my bluetooth....actual file transfer is faster but the hassle of switching my pc to wifi then opening the app clicking this that and the other, it ends up taking the same amount of time but adds annoyance...

It's really good, you can transfer data without cable. But it's still took a long time. Maybe it's will very goooood if can faster

This App for some reason doesn't show A LOT of thumbnail pics.. Fix that in future.. For now I'll stick to AirDroid + Share Anywhere

This app makes it so much easier for me to transfer music to my phone, photos to my computer and much more, without the use of a USB cable

Its slow at the beginning, takes a little time to connect with another device. But when recognized the device, its share/transfer fast. Great

I already have share link on my laptop but my phone can't connect with it. Please tell me how to solve this problem. Tq

I love the app but it missing on the app list. I could find it on play store and instead of install/download button, it said open. So it's installed. But can't find it on apps list. Help?

I'm using it from a Gionee device. I also have a Zenfone 2. And I've got to say, Asus is simply awesome. ShareLink works just as fine as it worked for my Zenfone. Really impressed. Keep it up Asus Team.

Cannot detect the nearby device instantly. And having limited amount of files that can be transfered

It s useful but why can t we choose to share via usb if the phone and computer are connected. It would be much faster and reliable than wifi... i usualy share large video files and it takes ages to transfer. if you could add this option in the next update i woyld rate 5/5.

I have I stalled it on all my devices. It's easy to use and very fast.

transferring from android to pc, the hotspot doesn't initiate automatically, i have to do it manually everytime, why is that??? should be improved

Still asking for an update although there's none? Some trust you show there on the nice built... I prefer to stick to alternatives here.
