DAR.fm Radio Downloader

Very responsive developer. I had it rated at 1 star for a while but I spoke to the developer about a few issues and in the next update the major ones were fixed. The other issue of not downloading vs downloading and having to restart the app. I have seen on my RRS feed when I download hem to my desktop in Winamp so it is probably a dar.fm thing not the app.

A solid app that works well but is in need of a UX update. Setting up recordings in the DAR.FM system can be challenging, especially with radio stations that don't have a programming schedule. I hope this process is streamlined and the user interface refined. This service fills a niche by allowing users to make recordings of radio shows not available as podcasts. I have found it especially helpful when following news from international sources.

Always room for improvement, but five stars because it is the only one that does what it does that I can find and has given me access to radio media in a whole new way!

Great app for recording talk radio.

It used to work but does not record program any more. No way to contact anyone now to report problem or ask questions. No way to check on status of subscription. Absolutely useless now.

My favorite morning show crippled their podcasts so this is the only way to listen. I'm liking the new interface, great app

This is the only thing I listen to on my android. Live radio recorded from any station in the world, automatically. Does require a subscription to fully enjoy.

Really annoying pop-up to rate the app results in one star, very idiotic feature. I had already given it four stars, but after bugging me to rate it over and over, it goes down to one. Get rid of that feature and it goes back to four

App working again

Been using them for 2-3 years not anymore. The app is buggy at times which i was fine with, but with a raise to 79.99 a year it better work every time. I just got a twice the price for the same thing i had..... Nope good buy

Love the app. Service is pricey but the app works great for me. User interface is not overloaded, good sound quality, and change the speed of audio works fine. My only wish was to have the sleep timer back and now it's there. Many thanks!

I have Auto-Download turned OFF but it still starts to download tracks as soon as it gets a WiFi signal. Also, I have a station scheduled to record for a certain time and its been recording fine for weeks, but for 2 days in a row it has stopped recording well before its scheduled to.

I have been using this app happily for several years. I renewed my subscription to the Pro Bronze.

Absolutely disappointed with this app. Never has it once worked for more than 10 minutes. Numerous crashes. They developers don't seem to care either. Don't bother downloading

I like the changes -- cleaner and more intuitive. However, I really miss the sleep timer feature! I also miss the ability to pause downloads. UPDATE: Thanks for adding back the sleep timer. This feature is very useful to me! ☺

App working again

I have 45.shows recorded on DAR. This worthless app was only able to successfully download two of them. Their web page isn't any better to be honest and their customer service is weak as well. No way you're gonna get a live person on the phone. These guys suck plain and simple. Do not give them any money...you're just throwing it away if ya do.

It worked great for a few weeks but now I can't sign on to the player or even visit any kind of website for help because it takes me to the Internet player which will let me sign on after 5 tries but won't let me do anything else. Don't waste your time with this unless you are into frustration.

It ran stable with KitKat, but on my 1st gen Moto X. it downloads a few unplayable mp3 files, and locks up daily requiring reboot.

I miss the sleep timer option. Please bring it back.

After listening on the player I have to go to the website and delete over there. Better integration would get 5 stars

I recently got a new phone and downloaded the new version of the app. It is completely unusable. Crashes every time I make a recording selection. Would give zero stars if I could.
