Astrology Ephemeris for Android
Would be great if... It does allow to adjust for GPS coordinates in settings,, but going into settings every time is cumbersome. Also it does not retain anything so if your notes are incomplete even the date and time need to be re-entered.
Unbelievable, back in the 1970s when I had to hunt around for a New Age store to obtain an Ephemeris Book, of course I never imagined that someday there would be such an app and all I had to do was Click and have immediately any date I desired. I am so blown away. Mucho gracias.
I've been looking for something like this for ages amongst all the astrology apps available. Most are either ugly and over-complicated, or sleek but shallow. Yours is neither. Your program is simple, aesthetic, and accurate. Also, adding the astroids and Lilith was a nice touch. The only suggestions I can think of is adding an option to configue the time zone and maybe adding the lunar mansions, but since you give the place of the moon to the exact degree, it really isn't really necessary. If you create an ad free version, I will buy it. Again, thanks so much!
Looks good at first blush. However I am accustomed to seeing an ad then closing it. I couldn't dismiss the ad for a Target app and found that intrusive and distracting and uninstalled.
Chart is difficult to read and no degrees listed. Too much unnecessary rubbish like chiron and lacking useful stuff like lots and antiscia. So although it could be developed into something great, it's currently not useful for astrology, I wonder what it is useful for?
Long overdue for an update. After some use, it stops being adjustable for time and location. Data must be erased in settings to make it work, again and again. Could also use Asteroids #1-4. Then, 5 *****.
I thought for sure this wasn't going to work. But it surprised me. That's why I gave it 3 stars. Wish it would pick up my GPS. Because it is working.
I love the simplicity, you just open the app and the planets for now is the first thing you see. Swipe right and you get the chart. Easy to change dates, no unecessary bloatware. Perfect for purpose
Has great information but because I can't adjust for timezones it's not helpful. It shows my ascendant as Gemini and it's not accurate.
App cannot pick local time and even if u set correct time..it will not take it and to wrong time giving wrong results..uninstall..next.
good app , works good and is very on point ,simple layout, enjoyable and nothing to draft out yourself well done if i do say my self , great design .....bravo to the folks who made such a thing for us and it being free earned my 5 stars !!!!!
Overall, it does what it's supposed to do... However, as another reviewer mentioned, it's a bit painful for astrologers who use traditional techniques for several reasons: There is no option for whole sign houses, nor are there options to filter out the modern aspects (leaving us with a tangled mess of lines to try and distinguish). There are also no options to include or exclude the asteroids and outer planets. To conclude, there just aren't enough options to make this a 5 star app.
The function where I can look at charts other than the present time does not work any more. In this way the app is extremely limited
About to uninstall. Can't stand the flashing advertisements, and there's no paid alternative, so that's a potentially beautiful relationship irrevocably broken. How stupid not to have an ad-free paid version.
It allows you to put your coordinates and yet doesn't account for time zone. For that reason I am uninstalling this app.
It takes a bit getting used to the universal time zone = GMT instead of local time. I would also like to zoom out and into the charts as we do when we look at photos, by pinching and separating fingers. This app also does moon phases, great, thank you. When can we buy a version free of advertising? For Scorpio can you change Esc to Sco please?
Simple and easy. I would really like to have a control to hop back and forth as easily as flipping pages. It's also painful for traditional astrologers, since you can't filter out the outer planets and asteroids.
The app does not allow accurate time zones making the information inaccurate. I like that it includes lilth and Chiron too bad the time zone isn't editable. I love so much about this app. It has the best features and navigation of all that I have seen out there. Astrology is a science therefore of no value if inaccurate.
Easy to read charts. However I wondered . If it uses siderial time. I have exact t ok me of birth but the rising didn't show up on the eastern horizon. But otherwise, good.
I need something quick and easy as I make charts on the go. I don't want to have to mess with time zones and coordinates. Should have a city search and the do that stuff for you. After all this is a computer program.
I used this app to do readings for people at a festival where I didn't have internet access, and it worked out great! Highly recommended for astrologers who know what they're doing.
I am able to go back and forth in time adjusting for whichever local time by adding or subtracting as per time zone. Easy to use I just tap the calender pic or the date then scroll up or down. Helpful app.
Can't change time to my zone, so " now " is not accurate, (it says am when its pm) when i try to change it.I click "now"it reverts back to am. And no other way to set it, suppose to go off Ph time/location.edit 7/12/16: same prob as above but diff ph. Is it because im in Australia?shame cause i really want to use/keep app. Im using android hauwei y3 2nd ( Lua-Lo2 ) 4g lite..5.1 quad core . Ph only month old.
Used it on lg g3 and worked great for me. Great ephemeris. And moon cycles for any date. But on Z3 xperia its just a black screen. Why?
I think the app would be nice and useful if it weren't restricted to the NOW function. Although I can key in different dates and times, all it ever shows is the actual constellations.
The app displays the local time in UT (Greenwich) terms. However, the time is correct. Tells me what the planets are doing.
This seems to be a detailed ephemeris, with good options for house types.. but is there a way to set one's local time zone? because it's UT only, house placements can be WAY off... add a time zone selection method, and this app will be worth 5 stars...
Great app. Took a small bit of time to adapt but it works well. Just one request, can you add when do the planets are in the stationary retrograde and stationary direct? But it is already very handy and portable :)
This is my sideline, my favorite hobby. Been looking for this, for a long time...Love It!!! 2/9/49 @10:00pm will always be hit; that chart is a blockbuster!
Porphyry and Whole House Systems not included. Otherwise, sleek and exactly what I was looking for to keep my eye on the sky!
Not using everyday, but comes in handy when I need it. Will definitely keep it and would recommend it to others.
App cannot pick local time and even if u set correct time..it will not take it and to wrong time giving wrong results..uninstall..next.
Does the essential without any fuss. Nice uncluttered interface, but I would have paid to get rid of the ad if this was an option.
Not everyone wants or needs the handholding and pre-determined interpretations found in the majority astrology apps. For those of us who have our own ideas of what the planets may mean, this simple, efficient app is the one.
Exactly what I was looking for, telling me what is where and when. The only improvement I'd love to see is being able to set it for my time zone, and then being able to see exactly what time the moon changes signs in my time zone. That would merit 10 stars, for me!
Rising sign off by two signs, and no way to enter city of birth? Thisisnot an astrology app..lets call it astrology super lite!! Really, until you can add city of birth people will NOT BE GETTING ACCURATE CHARTS I SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF URSELVES!!!!! NOT A TRUE ASTROLOGY APP....AT ALL!!!!!
Nothing is visible, only a black screen when running the app on a Sony Xperia Z5P
The top 5 astrological apps for professional astrologers. Be careful who you give this information to. You might lose some of your clients! lol
The time zone shows as UT wheras it should be EST and my phone settings are correct.

The Universal Time takes a little getting used to, but it's very accurate (I've compared it to my Solar Fire program), and easy to use. For a quick check of a chart or Astro-weather forecast, it can't be beat. Highly recommend. Never any issues. Droid User.
