Planting Rhythms & Wine Days is an app that needs a subscription to load and view 1 year's data for a Biodynamic Calendar and moon-planting guide, showing moon phases, the days to undertake different gardening activities and for the wine drinkers - days that some people consider to be the better days for appreciating a wine's aroma and bouquet.It also displays the zodiac constellation that the moon is in for each day. The app is simple to use and easy to reference.
It is based on 3 of the moon's rhythms; the movement through the sidereal zodiac, the moon's movement between the northern and southern hemispheres and the moon's phases. The journeying between the hemispheres is reflected in the app as a fortnightly movement upwards to a peak and then a fortnightly movement downwards to another peak. When the moon moves towards the hemisphere that you are in, its path ascends higher in the sky each day when compared to your horizon. The moon path gets lower to your horizon daily for 2 weeks when moving away from your hemisphere.
The app adjusts automatically to your timezone and the hemisphere you are in.

Does not update, and I can not even access new data. Really bad app.

I really loved this app when I first got it, but something has been going on for the last year and it won't update the bottom info with the current time. I have to scroll forward nearly 8 months to see what today's info is. Very frustrating. Would love to see this problem resolved and then I'd rate this 5 stars.

Well it's ok in that it gives you the biodynamic phase for the day. But cannot understand why the days on the bottom line don't progress along with the main pix. I would've thought this is a fundamental design requirement !

Graphics ok but moon signs incorrect with Sagittarius appearing every few days. Too bad since I had to pay to see the data. An expensive mistake

I would love the option of a widget on my screen so that I can see at a glance the moon phase and the planting guide. Also, would be grest if there was the capacity to touch the various pics and get an explanation of what is going on...I am still a beginber and lots of it seens a liitle tricky to understand. Thanks so much for this app...such a great tool.

Not very user friendly yet. Starts in October having to swipe back / forth to find current day. Not all days shown; Web site not linked properly yet to address such issues. Look forward to updates - good luck

Loved this app, used it frequently till it jammed during 2017 and now wont update to current years data. Disappointed, after such a good start.
