Astronomy Dictionary

I wanted to get the proper definition of azimuth as this is often quoted in my lunar phase app. There's no entry in this dictionary for this most basic astronomy term. If they can't even get the basics covered, just how much use can it be?

Not smart enough to trim extra spaces, so 'zenith' works but 'zenith ' doesn't. This will be the first app to cut if I get short on storage.

Awesome app for astronomers

This is the worst app I have ever downloaded! The search bar does not work, but if it is empty, you are shown a list of terms, many of which are not astronomy a related. Full page ads are annoying too. Don't waste your time on this one. I suspect the high marks are the authors friends or possibly employees paid to rate it.. By the way, the most basic of astronomy terms, e.g., supernova, is not even in this so-called dictionary.

Full screen ads recently added to an already very basic app. Also why does the app now need more special permissions? Suspicious.

Would keep an eye on what is going on in the world.

Was going to install until I saw in the permissions it wants to have access to your calls etc and that it will tell them when I'm making a call and that the number is active so unless you as the makers of this app can tell me why a astronomy dictionary app needs this information to tell me what a word means I think I'd stick with Google...

Assumes you already know or someone tells you something and you want to look it up. A dictionary is a list of words that you can read the meanings this site does not provide a list. This site assumes you already know the list.

It's a good program, it just wasn't what I could use. A gave it three stars.
