FORScan Lite

Works great for Ford and Mazda, The hardest part is finding a forscan compatible OBD Device. O e that connects to .... everything. I searched Amazon for forscan and found a few great ones. My BAFS 34t5 brand workes great so far.

Any update when Android will support the plx kiwi 3?

Takes forever to find the obdlink LX and constantly have to re add pids

Amazing app. WOW! This is the only OBD scan app that connect to all my Mazda 3 2008 modules. I'm using ObdLink MX adapter and Eonon GA6151 head unit. I have access to everything (abs, air bags, wipers status, head light status, passenger seat weight sensor, yes you can secretly monitor your gf weight... lol) PLUS, a big PLUS! It is working on my Eonon GA6151 android head unit, it's the only one... All others I try cannot. Thanks to Forscan feature that allow me to enter the OBD bluetooth MAC address, otherwise it cannot connect on my Eonon. Great app. Would have paid much more considering all the feature. Great job!

Great for Fords, even very new

Use it all the time. I would also like to note after using this app. I now relize just how spoiled I get using it. I need another tool for a GM and can't find a single obd2 scanner app that even comes close to the quality and ease of use as forscan. You guys hit it out of the park. If you guys would like to make a tool for GM that would be great.

Doesnt have the features that the FREE computer version has, but yet you charge for this.... BS if you ask me, pure rip off. Torque pro is much better since this is missing all of the features i bought itt for. Disappointed to say the least.

Well initially I thought the program was fantastic and to a certain point it is. I measured my cam chain stretch value using for scan and read outside of the accepted value. When I visited my mazda dealer they measured the value using the mazda software and said there was nothing wrong with it, they had nothing to gain from this as I was putting business their way to the tune of £800. So I have kinda lost confidence in forscan

The formula for calculating trans temp on a 2012 ford edge 2.0l ecoboost is wrong, reads 60 degrees all the time with my obdlink mx. Other than that it's a great app, I just wish it'd work since I paid for this app

I change my phone and now Forscan can't see adapter. I get notification "Set adapter". What can I do? The phone is the same as previous -Samsung.

Dropped connection issue resolved. Needs PID selection associated with certain devices. Needs auto run dashboard option once connected to device, try another device if selected not found. I have one device for each vehicle (2) and its a pain to set up every time. Skins, gauge adjustments, and UI adjustments would bring this to the next level. Allow edit pid list without adapter connected. Works on my Lincoln LS, and eco boost Flex. So far only found MAP for determining boost pressure (take away 14.7 atm)

Insists to configure already configured interface, not very friendly, all gauges same size (RPM size=MIL size which is bad), not usable when disconnected from vehicle (should allow dash edit), no plugin interface (please, make one for "automate" by llamalabs), but only choice for manufacturer specific pids.

This app is great in that it has many of the Ford specific PIDs built in. A first improvement that would be nice is to be able to configure a custom PID (e.g. missing boost PID:ff1202). Secondly, it would be nice to modify the logged PIDs list without having the OBD hooked up to the vehicle. Nice app; great for datalogging Ford-specific info from multiple computer modules. I would like to see it go a little further in functionality like min/max value logging, but very pleased so far!

Running this app on my Joying 10.1" android car entertainment system coupled with the F Super USB dongle. Plugged into my 2005 2.4 TCDI Transit Van Works great for me so far. I have always said , software is like sex, always better free!!!!!!!!!! Although in this case I'm happy to fork out the ready's Great App I hope the developer incorporates more features like the PC version. But I really need a real phone app for a real phone. Really need to make a Windows Phone app.

Forscan is great. It's the only program that works with my AU series 2 XR6!

For a lite version, this application works very good with Ford, Mazda platforms. I hope soon all functions will be added similar to the Pc version.

Other obd apps don't have any problems. Sees adapter but not engine ecu. Ford Kuga is ok. Desktop app is OK also.

Great value app. Pulled data from sensors that the others couldn't.

With a recommended adapter this software is untouchable. I recently purchased a Mazda used and I wanted to check the angle of the cam chain using this app. Thank you for displaying this crucial information via the app. The wealth of information available is staggering I am sure to use Forscan for a very long time. The access you can get using forscan is beyond phenomenal. Being able to do it from the phone/tablet is a massive time saver. Best diagnostic tool around without needing a high grade device. Don't know what is going on with other users but I've only ever had a rock solid and speedy performance over bt on my One+1 or Nexus 7 tablet.

I bought the full version. Pulled info other scanners won't. Would like to see the ability to run vehicle system tests like the pc version; but this gets the job done on the go. Best Ford mobile app. Worth the price.

Crashes too much. Absolutely nothing predefined so setup takes forever. Several TIDs had no predefined values. Found two other apps that were far easier to use and actually didn't crash!

App gives an error of "No ELM found" when it tries to connect and if you switch to a USB connection the entire app crashes. This thing is horrible. I want my $$$ back.

My first choice in live streaming engine data. Always perfect for fulfilling my Mazda's service tasks.
