This app is almost a 5+++. It is ingenious and could be very useful indeed! The problem is that the interface is very unintuitive. Adjusting sizes of frames is painful. One always expects that grab handles will affect only that point. In this app it moves every thing! It's very frustrating. The menu buttons are mind boggling. Functions switch around incomprehensibly. There should also be a grab handle for the base circle. If this app is run through a focus group to help make it more usable, I believe it will be an essential tool to have. As it is, it is too painful to use.

Good app. Good thing about this app is that it can measure in 3D space. Exits without warning to save. Only measurements it cannot do are if the plane of the object is not vertical/horizontal with respect to water level. The turn buttons seem to be swapped. I used a cooler as test object with known width. No matter what I tried the 3D cube outlines did not align with the cooler outline in all 3 axis even after calibration. There didn't seem to be a way to compensate for it either so that the cube outline to match the cooler outline. (RE: As per your reply, I tried calibrating but it doesn't align perfectly, the far edges are never aligned with the real life object). The error was ±10%.

Great idea to have a 3D grid in a picture. Gives better orientation than all the apps where you only can draw lines or angles. I have problems saving the pictures and I would like to film.

Clever! Please add an inch option for units and (less important) object size calibration. 1) In the US, measuring tapes are in inches, never decimal feet. If checking accuracy of a Plum-bob measure, one has to convert back and forth with every check (35 in to 2.92 ft or .89 m). Please add an "inches" option to Units. 2) Allow entry of a known measurement to calibrate a scene (and possibly height) - this last is sort of possible already by adjusting height.
