AndroZip™ PRO File Manager

Used to be great, now requires a bunch of permissions. All I want are simple apps which do what they say. Note everything has to have heuristics and other tracking technology. Original review from 2011: Great app and great developer! I had a problem and they replied quickly. Within a few days they released an update. Raises the bar for tech. support.

I paid for this app on the strength of the developer - AVG. I tried it on a very large zip file that had troubled many other zip apps. Success!!! It showed me all the contents of the zip. HOWEVER it will not unzip it on my sdcard. There is no way to grant permission for this app to write to your extended memory. Renders it USELESS. Please address this and I will consider purchasing again. Now where is the refund button..

WinZip for your phone! I use AndroZip to backup important apps, transfer files between my phone and Google Drive, view documents, and keep my phone's storage neat and tidy. AndroZip is a rock-solid file manager and I highly recommend it for those who like to look behind the curtains ;) Apps like this make Android special. (Nexus 6p)

I bought the PRO version, I hope I can copy to my micro SDcard, but it cannot. It makes no difference between PRO and Free version. I disappointed. My Android phone is Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Duos. Please fix it guys. Thanks.

The app feels old and clunky now. Needs Google Drive access.

Zip & 7zip don't work on Google Nexus 7 g1 ( edit ) needs 7z support

Can't unzip anything. AVG, I expect you to update this to newer versions of Android. I paid money for Pro, I expect support.

I downloaded/installed Androzip Pro; however, I can't find the app. I'll update my review once find and use the app. I have an RCA viking pro w/marshmallow 6.0. Does anyone have any suggestions, I've looked through everything on my tablet and still can't find the app.

Been a long time since anything here has been updated was very good in the beginning but I'm gonna look for something else now a lot of features are still broken, if you wanna make this open source we could fix it and make it better

On Android 5.0.1/2 text editor/ viewer shows dark screen. Hard to read text. Support team has not resolved issue yet. Not recommanded

This has become a serious issue. I can't unzip ANYTHING without getting "unzip operation failed". Used to be good, now.... useless.

This app used to be awesome. Now it force closes and gives errors. I tried it on both my S5 (lollipop) and Tab3 (kit-kat). Both devices are rooted and su permissions have been given.

The only message I receive is "Unzip Operation Failed!", and I have tried many times, on different .zip files. Maybe the cause is my HP 7 Plus. POS Tablet.

This program works well when compared to the others. The menus are fast, cleaned and well thought out. The application is capable of encryption and file management. I've had no issues or other needs that I can see from a Zip program.

A pile of shite on HTC one m8 , m9 access and movement from sdcard doesn't work, HTC own file manager & sdmaid pro much better

I use this app to back up apps into apk files. Very helpful for saving non playstore apps or sharing them with friends

The transfer always gets the same the message: "transfer not possible because of system restrictions" I never had this before with earlier transfers on my Sony. Any help or explanation around here or somewhere else?

It has freed the space in my phone and I can move files now. Kudos

A zip file the same size as the file you placed in it? Not much use.

I paid for this app.. But when zipping a folder the progress bar doesn't cross 1%..waited for ever and later realized there was a bug.. Fix it or do a refund!!

Clumsy, dated, unreliable. Even a moderately complex archive (by for / file cnt) causes it to choke and die.

Now theres a completely different app, (Andro Zip with clouds) why did I buy this? Do I get free pro upgrade then?

Did not work for what I wanted to do. Difficult to navigate

In the past I've worked with tons of file managing applications, but none of them have worked as well as at first the free version, after a while I purchased the paid version and It's the best app out there. I use Emulators (GBA, GBC, DS) and this app has been so much help for me while using them. If I could, I'd rate this 10/5...

Fix this and I'll give it a 5 star.

I love the ease of Androzip & have used it for years BUT it needs to be able to work on SD card too! ie: delete files on SD card. Others have updated theirs why not you?! (S5 AT&T 5.0 Lollipop)

Best $3.50 I ever spent. Fun to use too!
