TIDAL

I could suggest some small things that will make a huge improvement on use. I don't like the fact you pay a decent premium yet some some are not available offline. Also, when a song is not available offline the app just shuts down. Why not skip to the next available track. The app is quirky, but paying a monthly fee should come with a few more perks to keep customers. Overall the idea and concept are great. Functionality has many things to be desired.

I used to really enjoy this app. Have been a customer for almost a year now and suddenly it doesn't play when the screen turns off. So. If the screen locks, the music stops playing and I have to start the song over. I've already cancelled my subscription which sucks because I spent a lot of time on my offline Playlist. I was hoping the last update would fix the issue but it did not.

I am a huge fan of Tidal, however they still haven't addressed the issue of limiting my videos to my phone or laptop. HD video needs to be on a large screen. Also, since one of the things that I enjoy most about Tidal are the videos and interviews, Tidal should have a way to display their content on the big screen. I believe subscribers should be able view the video content through GoogleCast, Roku, Amazon Fire, and through Oppo, seeing as there are already relationships with the companies.

I love this app. The way it looks, the ability to download my favorite songs and lists to pay offline. I even use it to play white noise at night. Doesn't time out like other music apps. New music is available pretty quickly and the suggestions have put me in to a lot of new Artists. They even have music from artists that i thought were independent and obscure. By far the most used app on my phone, computer and tablet.

Tidal is a great service with a big library and, if you have the equipment to match, CD-quality music. That's hard to beat, and it's why they've earned my subscription. But the app sucks. It's worse than Spotify's. Creating and managing playlists is unintuitive and downright frustrating. Instead of introducing me to new music that I might be interested in, the landing page is mostly filled with top 40 BS. Plus, there's no casting function. I use BubbleUPnP instead for my Tidal listening.

I completely Love Tidal and will continue using it but I would love for you to bring back the music search it was so convinient instead of always asking Google what song it is. And also of you could work on more detailed playlists they are good but you could do better. Maybe even try suggestions from what people listen to. But Keep up the Good work please. I am very pleased

Honestly the only thing this app/service has going for it is the high quality audio. What I hate is that most pages/screens are all hip hop based. Sure that can be great for hip hop lovers but any other type of music you have to search for manually. Also the design choices are poor, stick with the material guidelines. If you guys can do that this app can easily surpass other services.

The sound is great, the library is good. WHY OH WHY DOES IT STOP PLAYING WHEN I SWITCH OFF THE APP? It's infuriating to go back to another app and have my music stop playing. Also, when hooked up to my car via Bluetooth, one skip will just continuously skip songs until I pause and play again.

Has it's glitches every now and again, but overall is great. Especially with the student discount. One discrepancy: More customization would be nice, such as being able to remove the suggested tracks tab. Other than that, it's fantastic. The exclusives they get make it worth it alone. Also, I'm not able to edit m9st tracks, which is now advertises that we can do. Would love this issue to be addressed ASAP.

The app crashed when removing a song from the que. Connected to the chromecast, using a playlist which is playing randomized, not repeating containing only music. The app now crashes when opened :/. > with the chromecast running the playlist with one song removed: as soon as I connect to WiFi or start the app while connected to wifi the app crashes. Using mobile data, offline mode don't crash the app. After restarting the chromecast I the app stopped crashing.

This app works fine, however, say you want to cancel your subscription their page is always down. They will steal your money! I hope no one else buys into this unless they want to be stolen from.

I really like the quality of the sound, but I think the variety of songs are too limited to certain countries. Spotify has a better selection in that sense. Also I'd like for the scrolling function to become better. It's a hassle to always scroll all the way from beginning to the end.

This app is ok but has room for improvement. I dislike it because I have a Samsung S7 edge and when screen locks music stop playing so this doesn't work for me. And I don't like the remastered songs . For the price it could be alor better. Considering sticking with Napster. But love having the offline mode. Please fix screen lock problem if not have to go back to other offline mode music apps.

This is a great app whose key feature is its hi-fi offering. However, the songs saved on my Micro SD card keep corrupting although there's nothing wrong with the card. I keep getting asked to resynchronize when I'm out and it drives me crazy.

I get regularly signed out for some reason. The music also cuts out and changes volume at random mid-track. Even when listening offline to downloaded tracks. Not worth the premium price.

Wow, this app sucks big time. Menus are confusing and hard to navigate, the streaming speed feels like a 56kbps dial up. At the price they are charging, only morons will subscribe. LOL... Masters quality. Please be serious, I am not joking here. Take a good look at all those reviews that share the same problem. Even as I'm typing this, response, the music streaming still "jerking off" couple bytes per second. This is SAD! I once thought of switching from Spotify to Tidal, I am scrapping that plan now. I don't have these problems with Spotify... Master Quality my ass!

The app is so annoying on android. I have it on iOS and its a lot different and better. I have my playlist on shuffle but if I play the last couple of songs it NEVER plays correctly. Another thing is that when I'm listing to music and my phone is turned off the music randomly stops and I have to open up the app and play something else. And when I do it has the loading sign and that's not my problem because my WiFi is fast.

App is bad on a number of levels. Not very user friendly and glitchy just to name 2. Absolutely will not keep beyond trial.

Great Interface, Music/HD Video Selction, Exclusives, and Playlists. One feature I wish they add is a notification that a song is already in a Playlist, to prevent adding the same songs multiple times, also sometimes new songs are added by major artists but not present on the new page for awhile, otherwise great app!

The app is getting better with the updates, just one thing... you should improve the recommendations/push notifications, as a metal head it's kind of annoying being notified about artist that I don't like, for example juanes or rihanna, you know personalized recommendations, regards.

Why does my music stop everytime my screen turns off? Hi-fi audio is great and library is good, but I hate paying for something that irritates me so much! Debug this damn thing

I'm a first-time subscriber I just finished paying the 9.99 and now all the sudden I can't even log in to even hear music I'm not happy at all it keeps just telling me I have a network. I see all these reviews that it's good but when I go on it doesn't even work so now I'm trying to figure out what these people are saying or even true

It should be great but the following OBVIOUS problems are beyond frustrating: 1. Playlists. Sort playlists by new song added to oldest song added. OBVIOUSLY. Who continually wants the same song at the too of the list? Who wants to CONTINUALLY scroll through songs to get to the newest songs. 2. CRASHES. update the app for newest android. Come on. 3. Playlist loading. Load the WHOLE PLAYLIST. Not chunks of 100 songs. In a 1000 song playlist I have ten needless pauses. It's infuriating. 4. Random play. This is NOT random. Not even a little random. How can a feature be this bad? Just RANDOMISE play across the WHOLE PLAYLIST. For goodness sake. 5. Offline listening. Fix the offline function. Just make the songs download in the background. That literally is the feature. So if you don't implement it right the feature literally isn't a feature. Offline downloading is a continual hassle. These problems have been in the system now for years. Can you fix these issues. THEY'RE NOT DIFFICULT ISSUES. DO YOU USE YOUR OWN APP?

Love the app but i hate that when you play a song out of your playlist and it doesn't go on to play another song out of the same playlist after? It just stops the entire thing.

Great app but can you PLEASE make an update where a playlist lets us know if the song is a duplicate on a playlist when we add it again? -_- seriously my only complaint

Absolutely love the Hifi sound, when it works! Constantly switching to standard when your paying an extra $10 a month is ridiculous. Make hifi more reliable or just remove the option.

After the Nougat update the app acts like it don't want to work. After I choose a song then a with apps it crashes and I have to reopen it and start the song again sometimes it's repetitive and sometimes I o my have to restart the app once

Doesn't even play music anymore even on a good wifi connection. My offline playlists which should work no matter what also don't even play. Terrible music app.

Great! I'm getting all the Hip-Hop releases first. Awesome with music videos. Too bad they say that you can edit track length when you can't.

Having to sign up for a "free" trial before even checking out the app is ridiculous. I can stick with my original music apps that didn't ask for my card info before I could check them out. I'm a paying subscriber to a few of them because I DECIDED to sign up after I like the Apps themselves. Nobody prompted me, nor kept me from listening to music for free to start. The $10 might be worth it, but let me decide that without requiring me to enter payment info from the get-go. A little shady/desperate-appearing practice.

There is some albums which cracks or has gaps in the tracks. Pls implement an issue reporter feature to fix these tracks and albums. Thx.

Likes: awesome sound on my S7 compared to Spotify (even at same bitrate). 30 day trial. Dislikes: sometimes cuts off first second of a song - hmmm. A bit slow to load songs. Song range not as comprehensive - quite a few gaps. HD songs (lossless) don't sound as good on S7 as HQ (320kbps). Conclusion: the quality of the sound on this app at mid and even low quality is outstanding on my S7. That trumps everything. Not worth paying double though for HD quality when my device doesn't reproduce the sound well at this quality. Maybe the S8 and other devices will do a better job.

Could you please add an equalizer to this app? Unless I root the phone I am unable to adjust the sound and I don't want to root it, because I don't want to void the warranty. The other thing, though a minor one, is the UI. I wouldn't mind if you copied that of Spotify or made a similar one, because the current one in TIDAL is unintuitive. Thanks.

There are lots of small but really irritating problems with the app. First off, it's incredibly inconvenient that you can't edit playlists while you are offline or even search your own saved music while offline. Shuffle doesn't work properly and only plays certain songs in the playlist and not all. The app also unlinks from Chromecast all the time and i have to go into the app and reconnect to the Chromecast just to pause/skip/change volume. Don't have this problem with other apps. Can't auto organise playlists by alphabetical order or anything like that so if I want to find a specific song I have to just scroll until I find it.

Best for those who want CD quality sound. Go with Apple Music or Spotify if you're not willing to pay for the Hi-Fi option

Constantly crashes when exiting the app or turn your screen off. I keep waiting for an update with the hopes that the problem will be fixed but it looks like I'll have to cancel my subscription which is sad because I really use to love Tidal.

Add freaking radio like "I'm feeling lucky" from Google music. Impossible to find new music through tidal. Also, add a Linux client

Songs just randomly stop. Some songs just stop working forever. I can't believe i am paying for this. I've held on to Tidal for way too long. I refuse to pay this much for a app this messed up.

Atrocious customer service. Continously receive congratulations email confirmation of the student discount, but when I click the link am taken to a OOPS ERROR page. Have been incorrectly charged full price for months despite this. Customer service merely refers me to the FAQ. Incredible how useless their "support team" has been. You charge this much for zero service?

The HiFi subscription really puts it over the top for me. I'm not a huge fan of the spinning record kind of Now Playing screen, but other than that there are no glaring flaws.
