The full version allows you to change the frequency of updates from the FAA and how fast the widget turns. Real time rotating display of current USA air traffic control delays, ground stop & airport closures reported by the FAA in a home screen widget. North American airport data only. Delete widget and readd to get bigger size. If an airport is not listed it isn't affected.
Make sure you have an unlimited data plan.
This is a widget. Therefore, you MUST install this onto your home screen following these instructions:
1. Find a blank home screen with nothing on it.
2. Press and hold your finger on the screen.
3. A menu will pop up. Select "Android Widget"
4. On the next list choose the Air Traffic Control Status USL
5. Hit "Save" on the configuration screen.
6. You should see the widget on your home screen.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

This widget works great! I get real time ground stop and delay programs that are in effect by the Comand Center. A quick glance at this widget and I am informed off possible delays on my upcoming flights. Very useful during flight planning.

Installed and uninstalled twice. Can't get past intro/directions screen. Could not get app to open. As an airline pilot, this is an app I could use. iTunes app actually worked. With Android, I'm out of luck.

Once installed you are given vague instructions on how to initiate the app. Never could get passed the instruction screen that warns you that the lite version has advertisements and encourages you to buy the full version. Uninstalled out of pure frustration.

The developer updated the app the other day and it is now working for all ICS phones / tablets again. Add this as a widget using "Add Widget". You do this by going to a blank home screen and press and hold your finger on the home screen until a pop up comes up. Select "Add Widget" or "Widget" and then select this app. Read the instructions and you can install this app.

For half of each year there is a good likelihood of weather or air traffic delays. This tool keeps me informed and has proven to be one of the most valuable I have for traveling. I'd give it a 5 of it weren't a widget, but I get what I paid for!
