GasRecord for Android
I've used this app for quite awhile and loved it. I recently updated to a Galaxy S7 and because there isn't a menu button, I can't review previous fill ups. If this gets fixed I'd love it again but currently it makes the app pointless.
Can't restore old data, the soft menu button no longer works
Was a good app but they changed it to now if you want to see a list of previous inputs you have to purchase the app. Not worth having now.
I've used the app for a long time, probably 5+ years now. Updated to Galaxy S7 and it won't restore any data from previous backed up logs even though they are on the same SD card as before.
First loaded on my HTC then onto my Samsung S4 and now my S5 and have not had any problems with it. It helps me by being able to see if I start losing MPGs. If I do I got a problem like dirty injectors so I know it's time to add a cleaner.
Been using this app for years, on 3 different phones. The dev IS right, to access menu features you need to long press on the Menu soft button on the bottom left of the GS5. Many apps work this way.
I upgraded to an S5 and now I can only enter data. I can no longer get to the menu to review, edit, download etc. I saw the author's reply saying to long press the physical menu button on the S5 to get to the menu but that is not working for me. Seems like something the develop should be able to fix. Don't other apps have menus on the S5?
Once they made all features only available for pay I lost interest and looked for another. FillUp is my new favorite app
Would like to a see date field for entries. A date field I can enter the data into in case I forget to do it when I fillup
The best
This is the worst app on our phone. Constantly freezes up. Total waste of time.
Good idea but.... I am having the same problem as previously reported. I can't put a decimal point in the fuel amount so it is not useful for me. I am using a Samsung Charge.
Very easy to use and has a simple UI. This was the only FREE one I could find in the market that allows you to include the time of fill-up. DROIDX
Very useful. There should be an auto decimal for the gallon and price input.
I've been using this app for >6 months, and I absolutely love being able to look at the stats collected. It is simple and easy, and I encourage other fans of this app to buy the pro version--more to support the developer than any present additional features.
Been using GasRecord for sometime... Great app!
Love the app. Happy to install the full version.
Would be even better if you could add Indian Rupee as currency in this. Keep up the good work
Endless problems entering data. App would lose the record when orientation changed. Plus..... Where is the keypad? Switched to sCar.
GREAT APP !!! One problem, when the .pdf file is created, the Adobe reader on HTC EVO, won't read it. Says it is damaged or corrupted.
Been using for 6 months excellent. And good/quick responses from developer.
Easy to use, customizable, and multi-vehicle capable. However, making cost a required field was a bad move
Does all it says. After learning how to edit my info after its been saved, I've upgraded my review to 5 stars. Thanx for the help.
Works well.clean.easy. wish for trip odometer field in record but not super necessary. Get this app if you track gas purchases.
Excellent app. Does what it is supposed to very well. I do wish it would save data on the cloud though.
This app is pretty good. Make record keeping for my mpg's very easy. Droid Incredible.
I downloaded this app to my Samsung S5 and the ONLY feature is the home screen. I can only add fillups and see the average mileage, etc. I can't view my fillups, export to any sort of document, etc. NOTHING. I entered a fillup incorrectly and there is no way for me to go back and correct it. The only solution I have seen is to purchase an additional app to run through the current free version. If the free one doesn't work as it should, I'm definitely not purchasing anything to go on top of that. Really disappointed.
Just when I think it's working and I can purchase the key, it fails worse than ever. Features are OK, mostly works, but it won't let you fix things when the app forgets an entry or two (it usually still remembers the odometer from the missing entries and thinks you are entering a wrong value). Really painful, still looking for an app that works.
Simple. Does the job. Rarely do experience a force close.
Does what it promises. Been using it for a few years on different phones and no issues. GS3
I couldn't even add my first vehicle. As soon as I chose the make, it crashed
Pretty good app that tracks multiple vehicles, MPG since last fill up, and average MPG.
I've been using this app for a couple of years. It's great, easy to use, and does just what it's supposed to. Droid4, no root, ICS
When viewing and exporting .pdf report, it only shows single page. Would like to see a .csv report available.
It is very accurate if you believe in always filling up, i do. If many Car or truck have any mechanicalissues, i will notice it sooner with this application
Force closes frequently.
I loved this app, but now I can't use it because it's not compatible with Android 4?
Would love if for each vehicle you select miles/kilometer separately.have 5 vehicles one is in kilometers
This ap is great for tracking gas mileage.

Been using this around seven years now as a mileage log for tax purposes. It is very nice to be able to generate pdf mileage reports for multiple vehicles and email them to myself for printing. Gone through multiple phones and have always been able to restore my data from backups. Running HTC 10 now and still no problems or data loss. I like looking at the map after all these years seeing all the locations I have filled up nation wide. Would be nice to be able to export the map to odd and or print the map. Yes, I bought the GasRecord Key when I first started using this. I am not a deadbeat.
