Daily Bible Verses

Every night before I go to bed I read the devotional for the day and I always enjoy them. Not only do I like that there's a devotion at the top but they follow it with a bible verse. Definitely my favorite app when it comes to this catagory!

Only problem I have is sometimes it'll stay on same date for a couple of days then switches. I read every morning n I usually share daily readings with my instagram folliwers. Hope it gets fixed. Other than that its a GREAT app.

It would be really helpful if there was a way to refresh the page to show the correct day... plz add a button or some other icon, etc. so we can refresh the page when it comes up with the wrong date. This is why I'm not giving it a 5. If you fixed it, I would give it a 5... Thank you!

My only question I just really want to ask people, why, oh why, does anyone use the KJV anymore. There is not a soul walking the planet that talks in old English language. Who are we kidding using that translation? End of silly, not critical argument. God bless you everyone.

I love this app. I can admit that I'm not perfect, and sometimes I forget to pray, being so caught up and detracted by the world around me. Every since I started using this app, and placed it on my home screen as a widget, I've become closer to God, because it never let's me forget.

I dont always get to read my Bible when I want to so having the scriptures at my fingertips is wonderful! If I just need a pick me up when im having an off day they raise my spirit! Thank you so much!

KJV seems to be the only option. Really? Seems like NIV or another more modern version would be more widely used. Sorry to have to uninstall but KJV is just not user friendly. Also had trouble sometimes with widget not updating the verse automatically each day.

This is a very good spiritual reading. The problem that I have is. The program just stop giving updates to the WORD. I need the WORD Everyday. I hope you fix this soon.

Love this app. Like how it explains about the scriptures first. Then gives the scripture. Only problem I have is I can't seem to be able to share if it's long. It won't let me scroll down to the share button.

I like the clarity it provides for each passage. Look forward to reading it each morning. Only problem I've had are the long verses. They get cut off at the bottom and I'm unable to read all of it.

I really like it. The only thing I seem to have a problem with is it doesn't change the verse automatically.

I really like the app but man do I wish we could choose what version we want for the scripture. I'm not a fan of the KJV and like more modern wording like the NKJV or NLT or NIV etc.

It does not update as to day by day. It is the 12th and my verse date is 7th. Today is 6/6/16--continue to have problem of receiving it as according to the date not change daily and the script date shows 6/1/16.

Especially if, like me, you want a widget on your home screen. This has a nice presentation and the text of verses never get cut off

There's only one issue I have. When the prayer is long, you can't scroll to see the whole thing. It's cut off.

My other bible app updates at 12am and is the first thiny on my phone in the morning. I forgot I even downloaded this app.

Having a daily scripture delivered directly to my phone & displayed like a wall paper is a great encouragement; especially for crazy busy days. Helps me remember Who my source is.

It's nice to have some inspirational words, but it is not updated daily, so I'll sometimes see the same verse for a few days and then they will have three different ones in one day. Overall it's a good way to keep God in mind throughout the day.

I have had other daily scripture apps but they were on backgrounds hard to read or either would crash often. This one I really enjoy.

This app is incredibly uplifting and helpful in meditating the Word. Go to archive to see the full verse or prayer if it is chopped off. Once again Thank you.

I am so glad that I have this app on my phone. It is a great form of inspiration. It reminds me of God's promises in the bible at the right time. The prayers are also helpful. I will recommend this as a useful addition on our daily journey.

This app is easy to use and delivers the Inspired Word or a special prayer each day. I enjoy reading a new scripture or saying a prayer whenever I need to- It helps you stay focused and encouraged!

I love to start my day with the verses from this app however, I have not received any new verses for 3 days now. Bummer! I love the app but if the issue isn't fixed I will have to uninstall it.

Reading this everyday bring a joy in my life I wish it could be more on time in changing on the day it supposed to be on and to be able to have pictures so when you send to face book there are different pictures with each message also a setting menus overall it is a blessing to read and thanks for giving me a chance to read GOD'S word

I very much like the verses and the caption to start but there is a glitch. At first a verse comes up and I begin to read it then the verse changes to a new one even though the date remains the same. Fix this and I will rate 5 stars. Android Galaxy S3.

I enjoy reading a different verse daily to reflect on and pray about. It helps me to focus on Jesus and what I need most every day.

Great for those on the go like myself so I can still get my spiritual food in....thank God for the word being expressed through technology and social media and great apps like this one

I really like that there are multiple verses and prayers every day but would love to see other versions of the verse available, such as NIV. Thank you for the app overall!

I have this set as a widget on my home screen and am constantly reminded of the Sovereignty, love, compassion and Holiness of our one TRUE and Eternal Father and Lord.

This app is fantastic it helps keep my mind on our Lord and savior Jesus Christ!

I really like this app and since my first review, it has improved. However, there continues to be an issue with how it updates. The updates appear random...it may update 2 or 3 times in a single day, but the next day it may not update for two days. That being said, it's still a great app and helps me to consistently stay in the Word. That's priceless...

Its help's me to closer to our God thank you.

I wish I could go back and read previous days verses without archiving.

I loved this app when it had the modern interpretation along with the bible verse but in the last several weeks it changed, unless it changes back I will probably remove it
