MY ASICS Run Coaching for Android
For the past few weeks, I've not been able to import my Garmin data. It has happened in the past but somehow got resolved usually within a week but this time it's taken more than that. I emailed to their customer service and they acknowledged it's a known issue and their developer are looking into it and it's still not fixed.
It asks for a goal time, which for me is 5km in 22min30sec, but when I add that I can currently run a marathon, it automatically calculates a goal time of just under 14 minutes for a 5km! Tried various scenarios, but it only jumps between sub 14min and 31min, both highly inaccurate. Why can't it just use the goal time like other programs? I'm an IronMan athlete hoping to improve my 5km run time. Don't see how the two are related. Very disappointed.
Tells me it has my email address already in use however when i go to forgotten password it then says not in the database. So you either have my details or not. But at the moment i cannot use it thus the 1 star review. Sort this out and id happily give more.
Tried to create a plan with a time goal (no date). Software ignores time goal and instead gives a "prediction" for a race which can be soon or a long time in advance (e.g. in years time)which is way different to the goal. Would be great if it calculated the plan actually based on the goal which is how I'd expect it to work!
Did anyone else have issues with mileage calculations? When I track my route on a run and then save it, the course on the map is not accurate. I can't figure out how much that's interfering with my actual mileage. The tracking can't seem to go in a curved line. What gives?
Great app, but the training plans don't tend into account what you can already do. It asks you what your are currently able to run the distance your are training for in, but then doesn't take that into account when generating the plan. You therefore end up training for something as if you are starting from the beginning. Fix this and I'd rate much higher
Perfect for a first time marathon schedule. I didn't know how many runs to do or how long they should be. This produces an easy to follow plan that is tailored to your day to day schedule. Marathon in 2 weeks!
I set my goal for 5km as 25 mins and it gives me a prediction of 13 mins in 4 weeks time??? Nowhere does it ask me.what I can currently run 5km in (28-29 mins). The prediction is unrealistic and so I can't follow the plan.
I'd love to give this app a better rating for all it promises in the description. Unfortunately it never gets further than the welcome back before it abruptly shuts down.
Gets distance wrong every time. Seems only to work in horizontal and vertical directions
Having issues with saved runs not showing on activity. Also, need volume control for voice guidance to be able to listen over music.
The running plans are great. when the app works, also great. But when it doesnt, i.e. freezing, crashing, failing to remember you're already running, it is a total nightmare!!
The app can be further improved by incorporating specific workouts like speed workouts, interval training, hill training etc.Best part of the app is that schedule can be customised as per one's convenience which makes it very doable.
Can't sync with Garmin or Strava annoying to have to log runs manually. Inaccurate description in App information
Crashed 2x when first tried to login with FB. Not a good sign so uninstalled.
If u have no clue how much do you have to run a week en route to your coming, 10k, hm or fm race... this is the app for you!
Still crashes immediately on open, even after uninstall/reinstall.
Love the app would prefer if I could share my runs without having to use another running app
Can't open it on my Note 4, crashes immediately. Like the web version, would be great if the app worked too.
I run a 6:40 race pace but this app tells me for training to run a 4:30 pace what the heck is that
glitchy as fuk, incorrect gps lock.and run distance, shuts down the app mid run
Can't start new plan. Just sits there and does nothing.
Good app. Just that it cant save two goals at the same time. I think there is a need to improve on it
I used it for a half marathon over 3 months and I ran 1 minute under its estimated time using its pace. Really good app
Signing up with Facebook account does not work
I like it but i am training for the Gold Coast Airpoet Marathon and it has the date as the 23rd July when in fact it is the 2nd July .
Fantastic training app, helped me go under 4hrs, knocking 22mins off my first attempt
It seems like a good plan and all. But it can't connect to my Garmin Watch. So I can't use it.
Training plan is too low on volume and type.
Run all over again all the time including distance, pace, and route.
Great customized plans. Syncs well with Runkeeper. Easy to use. No complaints!
Great service, but keeps phone awake when not running
Plain and easy. Jet it' s all u need
Absolutely love this app!
Great easy to use app..
It is a good app
Great.
Love it
Trainings for my first 10k race. This has given me the structured training plan I was hoping for, while still allowing flexibility. Things I'd fix/add: the gps is not as accurate as other apps I've tried, and I wish it gave mileage splits and whether you are above pace or below. Overall it's really good though.

I I used this app for a half marathon. I found it very useful. Itseems quite gentle but I said that is not a bad thing. It is true the GPS can be a bit hit and miss but after I I changed it to run in the background it was a lot better. I ran injury free and knocked 13 minutes off my predicted time. I would would highly recommended it. It's a pity that you lose the plans when you create a new plan.
