French English Dictionary

So far I've found this dictionary quite comprehensive and the examples are clear and helpful.

This is a great help especially offline where I don't need to use up my data when not near enough for the internet. Kudos to this handy gadget! Keep up the good work!

Great app to those like to have quick meaning for the words!

Hello there. In my dictionary there is no audio for french language. When i press the sound button it says local fr is not available. What to do please help

I have found it quite useful that the app gives many examples of the word used in the language. But I hope a sound search option will be added in future. Thanks again.

C'est très utile pour apprendre une langue. Mais les mots dans le dictionnaire doit augmenter et être avec plus des examples pour les mots autant que possible. :)

I keep getting a "a locale for is not available" . Looks like an awesome app but I can't hear the french pronunciations with on my android. Help, plz.

This app is really useful to me, because it gives us the fact, whether the word is masculine or feminine and even we can translate a sentence. Amazing !!!!!

This app is easy access with a considerable vocab. I'm currently in a French hospital and have found this extremely helpful dealing with French medics.

Its good but if we get premium version for free, that will be awesome for the students who want to learn french.

Very good, for learning English or French! And it does change tense and what not unlike something like Google translate with the translate mode. The quiz is great, dictionary greater, and the full app is just amazing. The ads are very small and don't get in the way, and there, to my knowledge, is no ads that pop up. Update after last version::: Recently the app has stopped translating, failing and just not working in general, the app also crashes a lot randomly now.

The only loophole I found is that once we put in any word (conjugated form) then it does not show automatically which form it is and I need to search for the main verb and then proceed. Instead it should tell you what the actual form of verb it's derived from. Rest it's a good one

Its a simple thing, but its brilliant: when you type a word, the app searches for both English and French matches. This saves masses of time flitting between 2 different input screens :-)

I use this app daily and enjoy it very much! I REALLY LIKED IT WHEN I HAD AN ISSUE - AND i'LL BE DOGGED, WHEN I SENT A MESSAGE FOR HELP I WAS MESSAGED BACK WITH A RESOLUTION. By the way it was not the app itself. The representative very patiently instructed me on/with my phone. VERY NICE!

Great app for learning French and English, with good interface. Kudos???? Unfortunately it sometimes crashes while in use. Also I think you should take another look at the conjugation of some of the verbs like "pleuvoir" and"falloir". They actually ought to be conjugated only in the third person but they've rather been conjugated for all persons in the app. Also the conjugation of some other verbs like Taire, Echoir, Dechoir... But in all its really useful in learning Keep up the good work

Hi! I had installed this app and was pretty happy with it. But after installing the recent update, I am unable to listen to any of the pronunciations of the words. The problem occurs both on the dictionary and translation. I use it mainly for French. Can someone please help me out??? EDIT : Right after I posted the above concern, I received a promt reply from the VivaLangue personnel.The problem I faced was a handset issue which is resolved now. Thank you for your help. It's a good app, especially for those with foundational knowledge of the language. It falls short, for those with no knowledge of the language, because it does not pronounce the conjugations of the word. The iOS version of the app however does. I feel cheated as an Android user. Fix this please.

Outstanding. This app is helping me the way I need in my attempt to learn french in 2 months time frame. I was looking for a reference app, not just a dictionary. It is a Best App ever,if you are looking for the French+English Dictionery/English+French then here u are.Take it.,Hope u will enjoy to learn from them.But,In my opinion I think that,you should allow offline pronunciation too in order to help us when we have some emergency matter like,Exipired of bundles/Mega Bytes at the middle of the Pronounciation.Because, People can't be online every time or every single Day.Thank you!and All the Best.

I would not travel overseas without a VidaLingua App for the country I was visiting! I love having the options of Dictionary, selecting from commonly used "travel" phrases, and being able to translate simple phrases, all with offline audio available. A great App!

This app is Gr8 as it has all the features like dictionary,translator conjugations etc..........by using this app we don't require any other reference book......works Gr8 for me

This is a great tool for me to learn French. The best French dictionary phone app I can find in Google Play store so far. It has pronunciation, examples, uses etc. And I can check either English or French. Great app!!

Loved it, bought it. Now, no search, no fast scroll - useless. If ya fix it, I'll go back to 5 stars and resubscribe.

The app is totally awesome, it helps me a lot in learning French but It would be even better if there could be picture translation too, to translate texts on a pic. All the same, thanks for the app

It is a good app in the way it's designed, but it keeps crashing...and that makes it frustrating to use, especially when I want to talk to people

This app is very practical, swift and keeps me always updated. It also makes me know I have a very good base in languages for most of the words are not that new to me

Cannot review my favorited words in flashcards? Can only review the preset set of words... thats annoying..

Swapping english to French or french to english is a bit difficult, im in trouble to do so

It's a very good dictionary amongst all but the issue is most of the times there is a problem of 'not responding' which sometimes make very irritation.

App crashes very often. Otherwise very good and easy to use. Please also include pronunciation in international scheme.

Ran out of words even for my limited vocabulary, such as ganache...

This dictionary has a lot of words to show and with great pronunciation so that anyone can speak as well that is the best part of this dictionary

I am in year 7 and I find French very difficult but thus app makes french homework twice as easy. All you need to do is type in an English or French word select it in the menu below you get the noun, adjective, verb and adverb. If the word you have searched for is in tunes categories. Thanks so much this have really help. I always advice family members to get this app
