Asana Rebel - Yoga Inspired Fitness for Android
This app is what exactly I was looking for! I start with Fatburn 8 weeks program, competed one week and see results. I changed my approach to the physical activity. Previously it was hard to make myself doing exercises. But now I can not wait until waking up and doing some yoga. The only one cons. When screen is being locked for any reason, workout does not continue after that , only starting over works. And a small advice for developers: could you add links to workouts from the history page? Thanks and good luck!
Update after being contacted by customer services. They actived my subscription but without a refund for lost days. I do appreciate them getting back to me. Now 3 stars. Used the app and it was good, so paid for a yearly subscription. Unfortunately the app will not register this subscription so I cannot use the premium features that I've paid for! I've contacted them but they won't get back to me! Seeing other reviews with the same issues makes me very nervous to continue or to subscribe. Don't use this app, use another. Very sad as the workouts were actually quite good, just needed more warm up and cool down and stretching. STAY CLEAR!
I effin hate Asana Rebel app. They automatically charged me and took money from my card. They advertise 7 day money back GUARANTEE yet when I cancelled the subscription on the 2nd day of the FREE TRIAL they sent me an email that I will not receive any refund. I would'nt have cancelled if the app is not freezing. This is another form of a scam. I'm never going to trust Google Play again in purchasing the app. Big FRAUD! I'm aggravated for sure. ????????????
You pay almost $50 for a yearly subscription for only 5 different very short workouts. If you want more workouts you have to pay another $50. The workouts do not reflect a traditional yoga flow. The moves and excerises are segmented and one does not flow into the other. This app is awful. I want my money back.
I purchased the one year subscription, yet I am locked out of most workouts. There's a link at the top for me to purchase premium features, and it takes me to the same offer I already purchased. Will someone please help rectify this? I would love to use all the features I already paid for.
I tried the trial and cancelled before the renewal date and yet they charged me a full year 58$ the day before it was even set to renew, despite cancelling. Trial people beware, you better love it, because they charge you early and don't cancel when you request it. Really disappointed.
For $47 this app makes it so that I can get a quick, intense workout at home. I don't have to lug my yoga mat with me anywhere and the workouts are fairly quick (15-30 min) which makes it less daunting when I'm not feeling motivated. Things I would change about this app: more warm up and cool down time.
Hi love using this app and want to purchase the offer of 99.99GBP once off for a Lifetime subscription - however the application will not allow me to do so. Is there a glitch with trying to purchase this app? Please help. Thank you
The issue below got sorted 24h after reporting it to support. Now that it works, I love the app. I paid for the full version, payment went through, but the app is still on trial version and always returns an error when I tell it to retrieve the subscription. I am waiting for support to come back to me with a solution. In the mean time is one star and beware that this MAY BE A RIP-OFF.
I love this app. The workouts are doable, you can choose how much time you have to exercise and I the fact that you can track your activity totally hooks you up. Not to mention that it's super beautiful! I have been using it for 4 days and I can already feel the results! I will keep on using it! ❤
Content and format of very decent quality, I'm sure. It's the app (and a business model) that is one heavyweight-upsell-push around pretty much every corner. Long time no see such winner of dark patterns.
Less variety in the yoga poses. You see a lot of Warrior 2 poses. Got bored after 2 days. Cancelled during the free one week trial - better not charge me. If so, I will be very upset.
its a bit annoying as freezes your phone and wont let you try 7 days free without hassling the hell out of you for sobscription. Better to try a free yoga app first to see how you go
Unable to log in and it doesn't want to reset my password. I don't receive the email with instructions to reset my password. Logged out of my account with a yearly subscription still valid. Fix it please. (Not the first time I request a password reset and it has always worked in the past. )
ATTENTION! This app is a scam. They will tell you try membership for free for 1 week but even if u cancel later they will deduct your money. Be very careful dont trust them. You cant even contact them later on because they dont have contact info.
I absolutely love this app! I have never been huge into yoga because I didn't think it really did a whole lot for me.these workouts leave me sore for days sometimes. I love starting my days with Asana!
App does not work correctly. Either an error or it freezes. How can I ask for refund?
Now that I have used the app for a while, I feel like I can write a fair review. I'll startf with Cons and end with Pros. Cons: 1. You can't change how many days you work out a week during a program. Sometimes you add other workouts to your routine and need to balance but there is no way of changing how many days you commit to other than not completing the days or ending the program and starting over to change the settings. 2. You can't pause a program. Sometimes you get sick, injured, or are on a vacation that doesn't allow you the time to complete your workout days. Sometimes life happens but I don't want to lose a week of my program or have to start over. 3. There aren't any updated personal stories. A lot of apps have personal communities via the app. I know there are FB communities but I would like to see what other people are saying in different programs. Pros: 1. There is a diverse mix of strength, flexibility, and cardio. 2. The FB communities have been so helpful in keeping me accountable and keeping me motivated. 3. It is super convinent and affordable. I know it costs $50 for the year, but in reality it costs so much more than that a month to go to a yoga place or do yoga as a fitness class at a gym. You could do online yoga but it's hard to find a consistent person and that can help you build on the strengths tour gaining, and you can buy DVDs but you'll get bored pretty fast. All in all I think Asana Rebel is amazing and I recommend it to literally anyone who even breaths the word yoga or mentions wanting to get fit but enjoying it! Thanks for everyone who made this app possible and I can't wait to see how the app evolves and develops overtime to an even better resource.
I love this app. It's perfect for any case scenario (at home or somewhere else, with or without a mat). When i had a problem, the staff responded quickly and they were very helpful. Totally recommend it!
It could be better if you can fix bug soon. It usually end program suddenly or pass a part of program. It's really annoying ????
Moves really quickly and is really hard to see on just a phone screen. My neck normally hurts after from having to stare down the whole time. Not beginner friendly.
Another app that makes you create a profile to steal your personal data before telling you the price. FFS, show some common decency.
I've enjoyed the exercises and glossy packaging so far, but have been put off buying the lifetime package because of the bad reviews this app has, regarding bugs and issues with payment, especially on its Facebook page. There's also no real customer support, and the fact that bad reviews and raised issues go unaddressed does not inspire confidence in the people who manage it.
I have been using the app for almost a year! Great exercise, works very well I am considering getting a subscription but I haven't seen very good reviews so still thinking about it!
I've been using the app everyday for 4 months now, and I feel I can give a thorough review. I used it on both One+2 and One+5T. Regarding the trainings and programs, I found it extremely beginner friendly. The explanations are simple and clear. I was excited to be able to train daily without a ton of specific material (some apps require weights, balloons, benchs etc...). Also it doesn't include moving around and jumping up and down all the time, which makes it a neighbor-friendly app for those who live in an apartment in the city. All in all, the programs are amazing, with great muscular reinforcement and rapidly visible results (It got me abs for the first time in 15 years!) Regarding the app though, it crashes a lot and you have to start your training all over again which is painful when you're on a clock every morning. Reasons for crashing include: accidentally putting your screen to sleep mode, receiving a phone call, opening another app or returning to the phone's main menu. Other improvements would be: the possibility to follow several trainings at a time on the days we choose (like Core during the week and Flexibility the weekend for example), the possibility to pause a program for a full week (when you are sick or on holidays). I hope these will improve so I can give you the 5 star review you deserve! Finally, thank you for the great app! Having paid for the complete suspension, I hope you will put in some new trainings soon!
It is the first regime I have stuck with. I would like to see a more advanced programme after you have completed 100workouts ????
The workouts are done very fast and there is no transition between the workouts..You need to slow it down a bit ..We are not robots ..You need to rectify these issues before the app is worth what I paid..
Every pose changes quickly, I wasn't able to scroll back or forward to really do the pose. Giis program, but not for beginners
I loved this app when I purchased my membership but they just did a major update and the program I completed and loved changed. Don't get me wrong I'm fine with change but the new sets are impossible to do without staring at your phone and as someone with glasses who enjoyed the stretch as well as the burn I'm very disappointed they made the workouts hard to follow... Unless of course you take the time to memorize the sequences. Maybe I'll get use to it but I'll probably end up switching to the individual workouts instead of the programs.
Charged me after I cancelled my trial... programs not easily customizable and app wouldn't update to include options included in trial.
I like that each set pushes you without being to difficult. Considering what studios charge, this is a budget friendly way to get into Yoga. The pace is fast, which I like until I want to sink into a pose, then the pause button is nice. Clean and easy to use.
It is a good app. But they don't have different levels. So it's difficult to improve and move on the next level
TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. I'm SO fed up with this app I've lost patience. I've been locked out several times and being asked to pay more when I've already purchased a year subscription 4 months ago. I try contacting them but their response (try to restore your purchase!) doesn't work. I'm busy enough as it is without an app locking me out and trying to get me to pay more for something I've already purchased. And if it's not what I paid for, $56 for something unlimited that isn't really unlimited IS NOT worth it for the hassle. Take your money elsewhere. They're a rip off.
It's a really good app. However, if you could set a setting for women so that for the week they have their menstrual cycle they get a different regime (so that they wouldn't have to skip yoga as a whole during that period), it would be good. I hope you keep updating the app and keep evolving :)
I paid for the full membership and yet can't unlock any of the programs. I get stuck in a loop and keep getting back to the payment page.
Waste of money for features which does not work such as downloading for offline access.
Excellent app...So well made videos correct pace to keep learning parallel with the videos with appropriate breaks as and when needed..But sometimes login becomes troubling ..
The moment you sign up for the app, you are asked to upgrade to a paid version. All workouts post the first 3 or 4 are again locked for premium access. Disappointing.
They charged me 99 dollars for the lifetime purchase and the app didn't work at all.I sent emails to customer support but no response .Absolute scam .

It would be much better if you could do more than one program at once, considering the workouts are 34min max. I felt quite tight during the toning program, and needed a stretching one. But I couldnt choose both. There is no available single stretching sets (I looked) so I can't do them. I could use another app in conjunction with this, but for so much money I expected more freedom/control over my experience. 4 x 30 min workouts in a week is really not a lot. Unfortunately I bought a year but wouldn't recommend to others
