ARTKIVE - Save Kids' Art

Years ago, I had this app on an old iPad that died. They didn't have functionality on Samsung yet, so sadly I want able to continue. Now they've added it however, I'm not able to make a book wth the 8 images that are stored from years ago and the camera function doesn't work. The personalized service was very kind to help me access my account due to a dead email as well. I'm hopeful that they will update to include camera functionality on my Samsung phone.

Couldn't get this to work at all. Tried to sign in/log on multiple times but to no avail. Also 5 min wait to open to log on page each time I tried. Pity, I liked the sound of it.

I was hoping the update would solve some of your issues,but now it won't even let me take a picture to add to my albums,it just says processing image... Useless. I would delete app but now I have a lot of my daughters artwork that I didn't keep...

Can't upload pics without login out a few times and update info. Not worth the time spent. Good thing I started backing up my pics on the keepy app!

No better than saving to a folder on the cloud. Don't understand the hype.

I stopped using it for a few months because it always crashed & would never work. After the update I figured to give it another try only to find that now I can't even log in. It seems that there is always something wrong with this app. Hopefully they'll fix it one day so that it'll actually work properly & maybe then I'll download it again & actually use it

Used to love Artkive....Ihave logged in and can see my album titles etc, but no pictures are displayed in the album section. However, if I say print a book then I can choose a picture for my album cover....NOT COOL!! I can't access my child's artwork to view only (I don't want to print a book)!! Aarrgghhh

Great concept but All you can do is set up an account and watch the app crash and freeze when you try to upload or take photos. Use to work but no longer. Save yourself the frustration and use Dropbox.. At least it works.

I just downloaded this app because I've got plenty of kids' artwork that needs archiving. However, the app froze on my very first upload. Please fix this app - it will be SO useful if it works properly.

Before the update the app worked perfectly. Now after every single picture I take I get a message to say the app has stopped working and I have to shutdown and reload. I have twins, and have so much artwork from daycare, and this takes me all day to archive because of the above process

Crashes during or after every photo. The photo I take isn't blurry, but the photos in the album look terrible. Better off just taking pics with my phone and making an album on my computer. Needs major improvement since this is the purpose of this app.

App freezes every single time I try to add a piece of art. When I take a pic within the app, it freezes indefinitely. When I try a pic already on the camera roll, it gives a "No directory found" error. Makes the app completely unusable.

I just emailed the developer after finding out that all my pictures from the past 3+ years are gone. ALL. GONE. They responded with some nonsense about how they're experiencing difficulties with android users. So, unless you have an ipad or an iphone, you're screwed! Way to go artkive!

Like everyone else, I have crashing problems. When I emailed their customer support to ask if they had a date for the next Android update, "No. Sorry for the convenience." I'm wondering if they're in negotiations to get bought by Apple since they obviously could care less about us.

I downloaded the app because I have all this at work from my 3 year old piling up and want to reduce the clutter. I tried taking photos in the app but it froze each time. I then tried adding photos through my phone's gallery and get an error message about the file not being available. So far this app is useless if I can't actually save any artwork. HTC One M8.

This used to be my absolute favorite app, having two small kids and not enough room to save all of their artwork.....I was just going to go in and add more pics only to find out my previous ones are GONE!!! Very disappointed in this app and the developers for this! These aren't just any pictures, they are special, and now gone!

I heard about the app so I downloaded it. All you can do is register. After that nothing happens. Can't upload pictures. Take a pic and it just freezes on processing image. I have alot of art from my daughter. And I thought this app was worth downloading. So angry!!

This crashes so often it isn't usable. Now I just want to get my pictures off of it so I can do something else. How, anyone?

I switched from iPhone to Android. I downloaded the app again and all of the artwork was gone. I log out and log back in and it shows up. When I try to upload something it says file not found and then all the artwork disappears again. Very disappointed.

Every time I use the app it crashes before I can even upload 1 picture. I absolutely love the idea of this app for preserving children's art without the clutter. If it worked reliably I would give it 5 ☆

I started out loving this app. Upload my kids artwork they said...make a book with it they said.....yeah, sure...if the app works. It worked great for the first few weeks and now I cannot upload a picture to Artkive. The app will not let me take a pic within the app or upload a pic from my phone camera. Really frustrating and a total waste of my time. Fix the app and I'll change my review.

I had it on my old phone and no problems. Now I have it on my new phone and it crashes after every download. I do like the fact you can share photos with others on your list.

I've waited a year and a half for you to get this app together. I've never been able to upload anything. All the descriptions plastered all over mom blogs and art pages on facebook made me believe this app was so promising. Major, major disappointment. I give up. I'm finding another app.

I wish the app worked but it does not. It crashes if you try to upload a picture. I haven't been able to add ONE picture yet. It's worthless.

LOVE the idea of saving my sons artwork like this. But every time I get into it either it crashes on me or it doesn't save the artwork. Please fix because you're really onto something here!!

Have 3 kids myself and like the app concept but it just hangs every time. Send me the source code and I'll attempt to fix for s6 marshmallow anyway.

It has never once let me upload a picture weather I take the picture directly from the app or pull it from my gallery. I was very disappointed after seeing it on GMA and having high expectations.

This app is a great idea and I wanted to love it. Uploading pictures is clunky at best when it works, but I haven't been able to reliably upload photos in months. Once uploaded, photos can't be saved. Overall, it's a waste of my time. I'm disappointed I'm finding it impossible to move the pictures I was able to get stored on Artkive off of it so I'll be able to preserve them since I won't be able to use the app.

I am so in love with the idea of this app but it won't save the pics I take, I can't scroll thru the pics I have and it crashes. Please fix!

I've never been able to get this app to work all the way through. Each time it gets stuck in the upload. When you email about your problem they suggest mailing your artwork in and they will do it...for a fee. What a coincidence:/

This app is a piece of crap! Crashes several times while trying to upload each photo. Gave up on it because kt was too much of a headache each time and just decided to try it again. I log back in and my albums are there but ALL of my kid's pictures are gone. I've lost over 2 years worth of my son's first pictures he made. I can never get those back. I want someone from the app to contact me about how I can retrieve those images ASAP. Very VERY unhappy with this worthless app.

None of my previous uploads are showing and it won't process any new photos. Please fix! Update- Its almost March now and it still doesn't work. Worthless.

Lost all my pictures and do not know why Artkive, I am pretty upset. Luckily I have some of them backed up elseware. I am uninstalling.

Crashes. Poor navigation. Poor picture quality. Often can't access or upload. Edit after the fact doesn't allow edit. Can't choose child on tablet. Problems making any selection. Service frequently offline. Albums get confused. Good idea, bad implementation. With 5.1, can no longer even access pictures. All albums show, but all pictures have been lost.

I downloaded this app so i could save my daughters art work but it wont let me upload or save any of her stuff. Very disappointing

Freezes up when I take a picture. Drop down menu doesn't work. Too bad cause it's a great idea if it actually worked!

Hangs "processing image". uninstall and re-install didn't fix. Certain photos, or locations give an android media error. Not usable. Samsung S6, new phone.
