About Galerie Mecanica
The MECANICA gallery, the first one dedicated to the Mecanic Art, an International Art Movement born in France in the nineteenth century, has opened in 2014 at the heart of the Parisian artistic landscape, at the 39 and 41 rue de Verneuil, near the Orsay and the Louvre museums. It is under the impetus of its founder Patrick André LAUBIE, founder of the Montolza museum, 1st Mecanic Art museum and the future Ernest and Gamy MONTAUT museum, administrator and partner of the FFVE (French Federation of Vintage Vehicles) that the Mecanic Art is exposed the way it deserves : after Paris, St Cirq Lapopie in July, Los Angeles in November...
Since the nineteenth century until today, Industries as Aerospace, Space, Motors, Navy and their evolutions inspire all generations of Mecanic Art’s artists trying to represent the new materials, the motion, the colors, the feelings as well as the force produced by the mechanics.
Contemporary Artists of the specialty enjoy to invest this new space at the rhythm of an exhibition every month, with Art Cars, Sculptures, Paintings, Photographs, Drawings… All the technics are represented, the MECANICA galleries defending the Mecanic Art as a complete worldwide Art for a new collectors generation.
