With this program you can easily align your satellite dish. To determine the satellite dish direction, you should choose your satellite from dropdown list, come near the dish, wait for the best accuracy, fix your position (long tap or menu), and moving away, get your current azimuth, most closely matching the nominal azimuth. The program uses GPS to determine your location, its accuracy is about 5 meters, so for the most accurate determination of your current azimuth you should move 50-100 meters (150-300 feet) away.

Looking at 72.7 and 61.5, this app points at sat. 15 yds to the left of where my dish is aligned now. Moved it as it showed and lost all signal. It's not even close to accurate using gps. My gps points exactly where I'm sitting

This app is awesome and outstanding. I tried several apps before for azimuthal measurements but those were not satisfactory. With satellite view it directs you with a pointer (Red line originating from your coordinates to the desirable satellite) which side you should select. In simple words, its awesome :)

I originally downloaded this to convert the known azimuth to specific sats to magnetic to verify line of sight (especially on systems or birds I'm not familiar with), on two separate devices I just get an error on magnetic when trying to lock onto any of the ones I use. Happens on the TMOBILE Note 3, and a Verizon Droid Maxx

This app worked perfect, I tried 3 others that didn't work before I tried this app. Easy to use very accurate made setting up my Shaw Direct in Florida a breeze. Would recommend this app to anyone.
