Free Advanced Task Manager for Android
Use Free Advanced Task Manager to end applications, speed up phone, and save battery!
1) Tablet support with specific layouts for large screens
2) Charts and visuals to view system information
3) Terminate Apps via App Detail Page
4) Shows Battery, Memory, & device Info
5) Shortcuts to useful tools
6) SD Card Management (Move apps between phone and sd card. Requires you to be on Android 2.2 at least).
7) Bulk Uninstall
8) Press-to-End Shortcut (instead of widget).
The press-to-end shortcut (accessible by long pressing home screen and choosing shortcut) replaces the widget.
The INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions are required for the ads.
The new interface requires Android 2.2.
Loved this app. Have had it for years. Now with the 6.0 update it doesnt access any running apps or functions and press to end always says "0 tasks ended". Sad really...
Doesn't have widget support for this app. That is android lollipop version 5. So I'll give back your 5 ***** Stars. Because it's not your fault. Great app other wise.
After years of using this app it has stopped working since my latest android update. Am going to have to uninstall :(
I've used this app for years and loved it. But now that I've upgraded to marshmallow they are no longer compatible together.
Used to love this app. I can accept ads but now it's constantly INSTALLING all kinds of apps without my permission and I've disabled installation of 3’rd party apps! Uninstalled
This has been my favorite task manager for several years, but with my phone's update to Marshmallow, it no longer works. Uninstalling for now, but I plan to check back every few months to see if they've updated it so I can switch back!!
I've installed this app but got nowhere finding out just what it actually does. usually it will suddenly stop working & close.
Won' t access SD Card or move files, have had this app for a long time, now it is headed for the useless bin
Never worked, rebooted and it still says it is the only process running. Then I Deleted .. Samsung S7 Edge, android ver 6.
Saying 0 apps closed when I open app or use the widget since yesterday on galaxy note 4
Good app good killer but alas it is no more, the parrot is def dead
Why does it always go back to play store when I click to end all apps that are running at that time on my Nexus 7 tablet?
Title says it all. Fix and I'll change to 5 star.
Unusable. Contains the worst flashing ads of all
Combined with some common sense, it was a great app for shutting down other apps to conserve power. Unfortunately, the latest update to Lollipop on my Droid Turbo has rendered it useless, as the only app it now lists in the "Running" tab - and thus is able to stop - is itself.
Currently showing only 1 running process - free advanced task manager. Obviously there are a lot more running processes. Love the way this app used to work with 1 touch killing of processes but doesn't work any more
Had this for years and it always said it killed a certain number of takes but they always started back up. Now no matter when our how many times I press it, it says it's killed 0 tasks.. What happened?
Does what it is supposed to do. Don't leave home with your Android without it.
Chhanchhana Hmar Zote Aibawk, Mizoram. Very good ....
I used it on my tablet and phone for 5 years and still love it
Excellent
Useless for my new Kyocera.
The widget for ending apps now always says closing 0 apps. New issue. Otherwise good app
The shortcut widget is perfect for killing background apps. No flashy effects, does exactly what I want.
My baterry saved a bit longer.
Add battery level etc for v 1.5 to 2.1..
Do what it says and it will not slow down your phone. Very good app
The app works decently. However the widget keeps disappearing from my home screen. Please fix.
Not fully evaluAted
New device, keeps force closing. Fix issue...
The shortcut widget is perfect for killing background apps. No flashy effects, does exactly what i want. Edit: doesn't work on Lollipop 5.1.1
Wonderful
I like it very much.
I like it... :*
like most critical-category apps, there are a number of apps that do what this one does... this one just does those things, in my opinion, best... it even kills itself when select End All, so you know it's not pulling punches... try it, you'll like it...
Does what it is supposed to do. Don't leave home with your Android without it.
Excellent
GOOD STUFF..... THANK YOU...
Does what it says. Plain n simple.

Same experience here. This app worked faithfully for years over 3 or 4 phones. Then I update my android, and it now says it ended 0 applications. I've got my fingers crossed for a fix.
