Arriva Trains Wales for Android
No tickets on my route despite start and stop being Arriva stations. No weekly or monthly tickets.
I like the Arriva Trains Wales App I use it for checking my train information
Updated to Android 8.0 the app no longer works.
Not available in Welsh despite being Arriva Trains WALES!
Can't register or find anything
It is a very good app
very useful
Another day, another Seek Assistance. I like the option to buy ticket batches - it would be even better if the bar code scanners worked. (Various messages on scanner - Tickets Only, Seek Assistance - ticket is still valid.)
Really incredibly useful app, a bit clunky to navigate but really good for tickets as I only travel in a couple of times a week
Absolute disgrace the app fails to work on the latest Orion upgrade no chance to make use of those elusive reduced price tickets very frustrating..
Poorly designed app. And when queried on how to get help on th train the staff were hostile.
Multi flex tickets have been removed so no savings to be made by using this app. Used to be able to buy almost a months worth of tickets at a time for a reasonable price.
Got as far as trying to set up an account from the app, couldn't so giving one star. Also searched for my usual ticket and it's more expensive when purchased via the app WTF, suppose I'll just have to purchase one of their new ridiculous huge paper tickets on board (or just jump the train).
I downloaded this app about 3 months ago but got rid because there were no weekly tickets available. Now , still no weekly tickets. Oh well.
How can i save money if no Ticket prices on on App
Arriva Trains
Installed, and tried to purchase a ticket, creating a new account in the process. The app first complained that my password was too long, which seems like a bizarre limitation in this age when long passphrases are recommended rather than short passwords. I shortened my password, tried again, and the app informed me "There has been an error. Your credit card may or may not have been charged. If your tickets don't appear in a few minutes (they didn't), please phone customer services." Thoroughly unimpressed.
Absolutely useless and unusable. Seriously. HATE this app. I suggest not putting crap waste of life garbage out there, consider making it actually work first. Just a thought.
Currently broken with Android Oreo. Won't even open. Can't get any of the tickets I've bought off the app, so they're loose until they fix it
Once you forget yu password there's no way on earth yu can get back into yu account? I can't by any more advance tickets through the app? I shall be advising everyone in my family to stay away from this app of yours!
Not good enough. Handy to check train times but not updated often enough with delays and cancellations to adequately plan journeys. mTickets work out as very expensive for regular train users. Frustratingly there's no option to purchase monthly tickets. Really not good enough.
A clunky interface with annoying navigation...and roughly a 50/50 chance of the tickets actually working at the gates. Quite a decent saving when buying multi-tickets, but if I was being cynical (perish the thought) I might think the app was made deliberately awkward so that Arriva minimise the amount of revenue they lose from having these lower price tickets available.
Waste of time, won't let you into app and doesn't seem to recognise the password submitted. So just wasted 1 hour trying to find and organise tickets that the app wouldn't allow me to purchase. Not happy
This app is very poor. Apart from many other things, it's very unstable. It will not run in more recent versions of android, and I don't trust that it will in the near future. Uninstalled.
Currently broken on latest version of Android (Oreo). When is was working it was clunky, but the m-tickets were a good option for me
Update 13:04:2017 It's had some improvements since my last review but still far from ideal. For example you can only buy single or day returns, not anytime returns that would be much more useful...mtickets still only available in Cardiff too. Oh and getting rid of used tickets is a pain - you go to delete tickets and you have to select the one of a pair, you delete that one and then can't delete the other! Only works in the Cardiff area!! Idea is sound - you buy tickets in advance and use them as needed (hence buying 6 at a time), which is better than a season ticket; but until all trains are using this solution the audience is very limited. Uninstalled until this becomes useful.
So convenient and great savings on multi-buy tickets. Haven't given it 5 stars just because it perhaps isn't as intuitive to use as it could be.
Useless wouldn't accept password even though non complex like it suggested, missed train used machine at station
App won't open on Google pixel although I have used this phone for the last 6 months and it worked fine before the recent update. I am so annoyed as I have got tickets on there I am unable to use and I can't seem to get help off anyone
Terrible interface. Completely unintuitive. There are no savings to be made as advertised.
Terrible UI from a company that hates its customers.
This app does not work on the Oreo software which therefore means people lose their tickets!
Clunky interface and e tickets sodimm work at barriers (as it's main objective is ticketing this is pretty poor (
Since recent update app keeps crashing on startup
Tickets now inaccessible after Oreo upgrade. Unable to open app now
Instruction on when ticket paid for poor and unable to easily log back in when lost password and app installed with out correct text message on phone
Mediocre app for a terrible company.
I can't do anything else except seeing my ticket no any other options seems to work
Had a memory card issue and lost all my tickets. Arriva Trains Wales less than helpful. Tickets were not that much cheaper than normal anyway. You're better off buying a monthly season if you are unfortunate enough to travel on these ancient, overcrowded carts.
