ARRIS SURFboard® Manager for Android
Does not support my device. One of the reasons I purchase an Arris was to have the wireless manager capabilities with this app. I believe an update for support of more devices is in order. Owner of a Arris SBG6900-AC
Supports only 8 specific devices... pretty much pointless app
Doesn't support my router?? Useless only works for a handful of models.
Update caused it to error out before connecting. Used to work fine.
Will not let me log in!! Arris needs to update this app or I will return my modem.
They said I needed to connect to the internet, while I was trying to use their app to set up my internet...
Does not support SBG6900-AC that i bought yesterday!
I have a surfboard sbg6580 or something close to that and its not on here... Why would you make an app for specifically only 8 modems.... Like making a gold toilet... Pointless.
Dumbass. Where is NVG589 NOT ON LIST WHY I GOT DOWNLOAD STUPID FOOL ASS MB MEMORY PAIN
Does not work I have the SBG 7580-AC and it errors out before connecting.
Do not work 4 me
Does not have support for SBG6580-G228
I hate it. Why, this app only allows control of certain modems and not all of them. Why?
Doesn't support all Arris. Just certain product. Useless app.
Only works with 4 modems.
peace of junk
This is by far the most utterly useless app on the app store. What a huge load of smelly brown stuff. Nothing on this works. Just use your phone default browser or chrome browser and goto 192.168.x.x to gain total control over your modem/router (replace the x with your modem/router ip address then login. Most routers are empty for user and pass fields and others are admin admin. Seek your user manual) but do avoid this useless senseless total waste of time space and internet bandwidth
Does not support all of the models that are manufactured. WHY?! fix it, so many other people had the same issue. Your a tech. Company for god sakes ?
Great - if you have one of the six models it supports. Actually, it may suck anyway; I have a more recent model. My LinkSys app worked perfectly - it figured out which model I had. Duh.
Limited router control and won't work if you don't allow stupid app to operate my camera. There is no reason you need control of my camera.
Must have Arris router also. Senseless App.
You have to have a surfboad modem as well.
Does not work
If you read and follow the quick start guide, everything works perfectly. On the back of the guide, under Web Manager, it tells you that the login = admin, and the password = password.
What on earth is the Web Manager Login? I tried the admin and pass and nothing happens.
135 million surfboard sbg6580 modems sold but no app for that?
Wat's the user's name and the password can't logged in.
Does not work with SBG6900-AC at all
Sucks
My Android device connects to the surfboard router by inputting my network password, but when I am prompted to enter the GUI credentials, "Web Manager Log In Failed * Something went Wrong. Please Try Again. However I am able to use Chrome browser from my Windows PC (Wireless) and successfully able to use GUI access to the Surfboard modem using the same password that I was trying from my Android device. I have verified my password several time but GUI connection is a no go!
Until they start supporting modems, I'll have to keep 192.168.100.1 bookmarked.
Arris only supports a few routers this is why I tether have a net netgear because at least it has an app where I can manage my router
This doesnt work at all.
Wont connect to it's own modem or router!
Doesn't work
Pick up the pace..
I have think it that's works
Add support for surf board 6580

This app used to have great features. The updated version stripped away the Wi-Fi signal strength meter and replaced it with a far lesser tool. Would love a roll back
