بدء عرفنى دوت كوم فى الشهر الاخير من عام 2012 كقناة على اليوتيوب لتقديم شرح للبرمجيات وحلول للمشاكل التقنية وما لبث ان تحولت القناة إلى موقع متخصص فى البرمجيات والتكنولجيا .
استغرق إنشاء و إعداد الموقع ثلاثة أشهر ليخرج إلى النور فى مارس 2013 محققاً إنطلاقة قوية لينال ثقة المستخدمين نظراً للمواضيع المطروحة والحلول الذكية المقدنة من القائمين على الموقع.
