About Saga — Automatic Lifelogging

Saga is a powerful new kind of utility that lets your Android device keep track of everywhere you've gone -- all without you having to check in.

Saga can help automate tasks through its integration with IFTTT. With Saga + IFTTT, you can automatically:

* Turn off the lights at home when you're at work
* Text your friends when you've arrived at the bar
* Keep a list of all of the restaurants you've visited on vacation
* Silence your ringer when you're at a library
* Remind you to get gas when you're near a gas station

HOW DOES SAGA WORK?
Saga uses the sensors on your Android device to create a personal journal known as a "lifelog". The lifelog Saga builds for you provides a rich summary of the places you've gone, how long you've been there, and the things you've done at each location. You can enrich your lifelog with photos, personalized notes, videos, and data from your other favorite services (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Runkeeper, Withings, Fitbit, or TripIt).

WILL SAGA KILL MY BATTERY?
No. Unlike other location tracking apps, Saga will not drain your battery. Typical users are getting about 24 hours of battery life while running Saga. If you think that your battery life is being compromised by running Saga, contact us at support@getsaga.com. We want to hear from you!

PRIVACY
We take your privacy very seriously.

Saga will never ever sell, rent, or give away the personal data we collect on your behalf. Really. We use the data we collect to make sure that your lifelog is as accurate as it can be -- and that your battery lasts as long as possible. That's it.

If you choose to permanently delete your data from the app, we'll delete your data from every place we've stored it. You will always have the option to decide what information you want to share with others if we introduce new data sharing options.

More information about our privacy policy can be found here: http://www.getsaga.com/privacy/.

EXPLORE THE ART AND SCIENCE OF YOU.
You'll get more out of Saga the longer you use it. Over time, Saga will surface trends data and visuals infographs to help you learn more yourself. With Saga, you can:

* Track your time in transit, at work, and everywhere you go
* Understand your how you spend your time and where you go with personal lifelog analytics
* Optimize your life by having a better understanding of how you spend your time

What are users saying about Saga — Automatic Lifelogging

Y70%
by Y####:

Saga Lifelog is a very useful App. Especially when you use this app for your job because I used Saga when I used to work for B&Q Cribbs Causeway Bristol as a Porter and it was very helpful in my job and it's very useful when you travel here and there. So I am very happy with app. But all this app needs to be updated because sometimes it's a little bit slow at times like any device.

Y70%
by Y####:

This app would be 5 stars except for not allowing one to disconnect front Facebook. I will disconnect in connected apps, but within hours the app prompts me to log in to Facebook which I don't want. There is a concern that the server is not reliable as recently there were several weeks where lifelog was not updated.

Y70%
by Y####:

I used to be able to see events from my connected apps in my life log, but now only my location and notes show. What gives? Further woes: I got logged off my app, and can't sign back in anymore. I think this app is dead. Great idea, but bad management by the coders

J70%
by J####:

Used for 3yrs, and did well, loved it. Now since Sunday will not find me, can not load life line history. Uninstall and reinstall and still nothing. Sent email and nothing. Would use if it can work but not looking good

Y70%
by Y####:

This app appears to be unsupported. Also, it's a great concept but it requires too much human involvement to make it accurate asking you to confirm or edit locations at your every move in order it be recorded. Who has time for that? Also it's not always accurate and some things don't get recorded. I give it two stars for the idea and the effort.

J70%
by J####:

Sometimes picks up where I have been, other times misses hours at a location. Stats show me at work on a Sunday - wtf? Daily log showed 5+ hours at a location, after I corrected an error, yet chart only showed 1.5 hours at that location. Has potential, however based on reviews is a legacy product no longer supported. Won't connect to fitbit. My fitness pal sync shows same data for days on end.

Y70%
by Y####:

I was running data collection on myself for a project for years, and now I can't access any of it. Great work guys, you've chewed at my phone's battery for ages and probably sold my personal data and I don't even get to see it. Huge middle finger to these folks for not even sending a warning when they stopped supporting the app.

K70%
by K####:

Last update back in 2015. Nice app but had questionable privacy details. (How else would it have made money to exist?) Last tweet Jan '15. No support from ARO. GOOD APP BEFORE IT'S TIME?

G70%
by G####:

Once, Saga was a 5 star app. And it is kind of nice that the lights are still on even if they have laid off everyone and effectively closed the company...but sadly, it does mean that the app will never be updated again, and if I ever need support - I won't get it. RIP Saga

Y70%
by Y####:

Pretty good, but would be better if it was ever updated. One of the top updates I'd like to see is the ability to link Swarm, since Foursquare no longer does check-ins, having that linked is rather pointless.

Y70%
by Y####:

Again Saga is unable to connect - makes it pretty well USELESS. I would look elsewhere.

C70%
by C####:

I think the App is down... refuses to connect with server and when I logged out I am no longer able to log back in....what gives ????

Y70%
by Y####:

Is there no more development. Website interface for logged data? I see that your Facebook page has been removed - what's happening?

T70%
by T####:

All of a sudden stopped working... no ifs ands or buts... no point of the app period

V70%
by V####:

This is utterly useless and buggy, doesn't save anything. Are the developers dead or retarded?

C70%
by C####:

Not able to link ANY accounts. Get an error everytime stating: failed authenitcation while linking. Heard lots of good things about this app, too bad.

H70%
by H####:

Seems to have been abandoned by the developer. I keep getting huge gaps in my life log and have had no response from my communications via the in-app support channel.

C70%
by C####:

5 stars for the concept and in general it delivers on execution as well. It does what it's designed to do and does so autonomously which makes it a killer app. Certainly there a few bugs 1) it doesn't always nail your exact location (although its easy to correct) 2) some of the apps such as fitbit don't seem to be able to connect. Also the presentation of the information is uninspired. If a company such a Google bought it and made a capital investment to take this to the next level it would be awesome.

you can re pin the location, create missing time n location, big plus! can't wait the integration with calendar and search or filter features. howbout in day view ? or put a note on that day. so that i can filter for this few events. thanks. ONE MORE THING. please try their favorite feature. It is a very GOOD filter. like I can mark this customer place as favorite, then select "ME", look for favorite section, you will see the app list all your favorite place, select any places, go in there and it will show you when you visited that place.. nice job! love it! -- update -- after half a year. Notice, the favorite feature will not able to show every things. so sad. I had stop and switch over to Google Photos. Thanks.. such a good app...

C70%
by C####:

Some apps link to Saga, others don't. That's pretty disappointing. So far Goodreads, fitbit, google+ and instagram all fail.

C70%
by C####:

Saga/ARO was sold and supposedly being supported by the new company, yet you can see here in the reviews that people aren't getting responses to requests for their lifelog export or password issues. Requested my own lifelog backup more than 10 times from the app and never saw a single communication from them. I guess two years of data will never make it to my inbox. What a shame.

I think Saga has reached an end, and I'm thinking of uninstalling it. My walks are recorded as slow drives. Time at home is recorded as airplane flights. My appointment this afternoon became a very long walk. And yet…no recent updates. I'm sad to lose the record, but at this point, it's not very accurate anyway. Two stars, because once upon a time, it was decent. Call me sentimental.

R70%
by R####:

I'm giving 5 stars for potential. I want this app to grow. It would be great if it had integration with Google Calendar.

Would be a good app but refuses to connect to fitbit, goodreads, up etc. States 'Authentication Failure, Please try again later'.

C70%
by C####:

Not sure what's happened to the app but lately data is dropped and support is unresponsive. Looking for other options.

C70%
by C####:

Won't even collect data now. Started May 7. Using Galaxy S4.

C70%
by C####:

Won't connect to MFP

P70%

This app has ceased to be. It now refuses to accept logins and just reports "a problem with our servers". This has been the case four s couple of weeks, so not a one-off hiccup.

F70%
by F####:

Just lately it's rubbish. Used to work great but now not tracking me. Not good. Time to uninstall I think !!

C70%
by C####:

Six days since Saga recorded anything. Might just be looking again. Nothing beat Rove - too bad it is no more.

C70%
by C####:

Downloaded this because it links with fitbit but when I try to link it, it says authentication error

C70%
by C####:

To my knowledge there is not another app like this. Devs are very responsive as can be seen from the reviews here. Highly recommend.

How to add things in lifelog? How to see the picture which I've added? Please help.

C70%
by C####:

Like it more than others!

C70%
by C####:

I've submitted 2 messages over a span of almost 2 months to address no connection to fitbit, Instagram and maybe one more. I really like the apps capabilities and showing my where i spend my time and how long, but GEESH, don't you want to keep users by replying to messages. Maybe someone has forgotten that a feedback section was made, but no one is monitoring it?

J70%
by J####:

Can't connect any of the apps

C70%
by C####:

Can't login anymore and password retrieval doesn't work. Fitbit and ifttt integration stopped working a while ago. Saga's maker website says the company has been restructured but they will keep supporting all their apps. Is this the end for them? What's a good alternative? Really liked it while it worked.

C70%
by C####:

When then location is inaccurate, I tried to merge data, but the app showed message that it failed to merge the data.

C70%
by C####:

Used to work. Now doesn't.
