Remote for VLC Plus

The app I used before started to randomly display full screen ads. I only found out after reinstalled my phone. Never again. So I went looking for a better remote and I found this one. It looks very nice, very clean. It works like a charm too. If you decide to display ads, let your customers know that please. And add an option to remove them.

The UI is great and the app works flawlessly. Only thing it really lacks is Rewind and Forward buttons. For going 10 seconds backward or forward. 2 buttons will be great. One got 10 secs and one for 1 minute. (For both forward and backward) Also, one more suggestion is being able to change the volume using the physical buttons on the phone.

I am giving it 5 stars. I tried 4 other apps with anoying full sceen ads or with connection problems and finally found this simple app. Buttons have to be a bit down for one hand operation. You can start your movie or tv show from your phone. No need to go to your PC. This is a paid option on other apps. This is the best app no matter how dowloads are right now. You actually need to try and see how anoying other apps are to believe me. P.S. I dont mind small continuous ads on top of screen or on some part of screen. You got to earn something. But pop-up ads in the entire screen is what made me uninstall other similar apps with 1 million downloads and using your app.

I don't normally review apps...but this one is awesome. Followed the detailed setup instructions, I was on the same WiFi and boom...worked first time. And every time after. Absolutely spot on. Would have paid money for it.

Effective and simple layout. However this app can be 5 stars if there is the addition of menu buttons in the notification panel as well as the lockscreen. I should not have to unlock my phone everytime to control the player.

One pro I've found for sure is that this app has Material design concept. But it's only concept and actually unreliably implemented. App doesn't has settings to adjust something, i. e. time skipping step. So thanks for clean, ad free app but it's not ready yet.

Finally an app without annoying ads on screen. I give only 3 stars because it needs to allow more settings (actually it doesn't have any), like the possibility to leave the display always on, or better buttons to go forward and backward buttons. Also I'm quite concerned about the security of this app. It doesn't need any configuration, it works immediately, and I'm afraid that could mean it's not secured at all. I hope they will improve all this, I will increase the amount of stars

I love this Windows Interface ripoff from Google (so called material design) it makes a 5 years windows phone user feel home a bit. Please do more apps like this, and let us make them dark and change their color:). Great app, by the way.

Could use DVD controls for all files, also widget, preferred with said DVD controls. Next/previous chapter in 264(5) mkv files is becoming common and I'd freaking love to see it. Choice of manual or auto setup would be nice, I use a different password for http interface over a network with many devices dynamically connected that would be hard to change. Otherwise very nice app, simple setup if you know how.

With every update it is evolving. It would be better if you could add a feature like youtube tv volume control. Which works even when the screen is off.

I am honestly surprised by your app guys. It get the job done. Setting is fast. The YT search is fast. But by far the best is the usability of the remote especially the circle for backward/forward, really, really smart. I did not have any pop ad so far. Please just leave it like this. Don't ruin it. And thank you again for maybe the best VLC remote app.

I'm missing a volume control and as said by Kahka two buttons for quick time skipping (with adjustable skipping times) would be nice to skip TV show intros without having to rewind when I went too far or skip back when I have missed something important.

Found this because the app i have used for years has now started 'in your face' advertising. I'm glad they did because this app is sooooo much better and looks nice! Well done guys, please don't go down the ad route also. ????

Does what you want w/o the ads. Still has a couple bugs but so do the alternatives. Zip files added just fine. Bug: not reading file with #, ruins my playlist when the file is next in my playlist (and was put in on my PC).

Just the best and nothing else! Well done man! If you will be able to apply swipes rather buttons (x, >, <) in next releases, it will be awesome.

Excellent. Doesn't have the connection problems that other, similar apps have, and the streaming direct fom youtube feature is a real winner.

It'll be awesome, if you could just add a widget or controls in the drawer. Anyways the app works great and thumbs up to developer

Very good interface! Could you add "forward jump" and "backward jump" by pressing on relevant buttons (or swipe left/right)?

Nice app and I like the design, but lack of landscape (or tablet) support is very annoying

Super easy setup. High app rating speaks for itself. Consider making a separate donate version for users to show their appreciation.
