Churches of Venice

The churches of Venice are places of culture and expressions of art. There are more than 150 churches in Venice and its surrounding islands, inside you can discover artistic elements from many different artists and historic times. The entrance into the churches is regulated in order to not disturb the faithful, in some churches you have to pay an entrance fee, in other churches you don’t pay but only if you entrance in some other special area (museum, picture gallery).
