Edit again: on the pixel XL running Android Oreo, the app doesn't run unless it is allowed to run in the background. This causes macrodroid to be the highest drainer of battery in the app list. Will restore 5 stars when app targets the Android Oreo battery restrictions. Edit after update: there is an option now to force the legacy mechanism for app launched trigger, which seems to work roughly as well as it did before. Accessibility access was not granted, but usage access is still required. Edit after reply again: eagerly awaiting update. Will restore 5 stars when fixed. Edit after developer reply: the legacy option/method for app launched trigger doesn't seem to be working on its own, and there is no readily apparent way to use it instead it of the new accessibility method. Very disappointing, since I will not voluntarily weaken my security for an app. Edit after update: the new implementation for app launched trigger requires an accessibility feature to be activated, which disallows the device from using the screen lock to enhance encryption. The old implementation was much better. Original: Shake for flashlight is super convenient. Endless possibilities with this app, love it. Wish it had an option (action) for silent mode, NFC toggle

Thought of upgrading to pro after testing for a week but one day it will work one day it will not work... I don't know what is the problem?? I have just used only 2 macros that also its not working properly

Can't even do a simple task like training off my Wi-Fi when I leave my house or back on when I get home. Also there's no am or pm settings for its timed automatons so it's kinda stupid. I do not recommend

Do not leave a negative review until you at least e-mail Jamie and ask questions if you don't understand something. Jamie is the best AND most responsive dev on Google Play!

This app can virtually automate everything. Just discovered a way to let this app work seamlessly together with the IFTTT app, so Google assistant is now fully unlocked by this app as well (tip: let iftt app create notification and let macrodroid act on notification from ifttt app). The sky is the limit!

The pro version is awesome! I have over 20 custom macros running and my phone does lots of things automatically for me without me having to touch it. The developer continually adds more functionality, making this app even more powerful with each update. For example I have a macro that will read a text message out loud to me from a specific sender only when the phone is in a certain area. Another macro recognizes when I get in my car and it opens up my navigation app. The macrodroid app also gives you widget buttons that you can just tap and run whatever macro you want. The things you can do are limited only by your imagination.

Brilliant little automation app, very simple to use and a great friendly forum where users will help you ! Also great developer! So glad I bought this app :) This developer really does care about having a quality product and not just bashing out an "app" I can't have more respect for his attitude of how he looks after a heck of a lot of people all by himself which is difficult, great work!

It fixes problems with other apps (you can start apps at boot if they are supposed to but aren't doing so), you can create your own makeshift clipboard and anti-theft setups, and more. It's a user-friendly Tasker.

Simple alternative of Tasker. Request : please add daily Mibile Data tracker. My plan let me use 1Gb data per day i want notification when i use 500Mb in a day. So please add this feature on To-do task.

In the latest update you changed the voice that reads my texts? Yes? I don't like it. The last female voice sounded like a human being. Now I'm listening to a robot from a bad 80s sci-fi. Can I change it? I can't find how to. :(
