Herbal Guide for Android
I love this app, it's navigation is great, it's pictures are wonderful I love the details that go along with it there's just one or two things. I HOPE they add more herbs there are some that are missing from here that I'd like to see on this app, and I'd like to understand what the little symbols mean
DOES WHAT AN APP IS SUPPOSED TO WITHOUT SOME CON ARTIST DEVELOPER CONNING US OUT OF OUR EXTREMELY PERSONAL INFORMATION... LOOK FOR ALL APPS FIRST BY MAKING SURE THEY REQUIRE NO SPECIAL PERMISSIONS LIKE THIS ONE... BE FULLY PATRIATIC AND LOVE "USA" BY CLIPPING THE NOSE OF THE NOSEY DEV.S OFF... ENDLESS THANKS TO THIS DEVELOPER AND ALL OTHERS ALIKE...!!!!! *KUDOS GENTS* ????
We aren't taught in school how to consume herbs on purpose so people will buy pharmaceuticals. 5 stars, nice app.
Will recommend for basic insight. It's not a complete collection, but the stunning visuals and easy navigation do make up for it. Hope more plants will be added.
I like the way this app is organized, but it is missing common herbs chamomile and mullein, and probably others. Photos of the plants would also be helpful.
Would have given 5⭐ BUT The symbols definitely need a description AND it would be nice to know how to administer the herbs/plants for personal use.... But a very informative app.
Maybe a description of possible side effects too. Western medicine isn't the only substance to have possible side effects. Unbiased information is best
As far as I can tell search by plant actually means just scroll or browse through a list of plants . Actual keyword search would be a good function
Detailed but does not say how to use the herbs, like do you make tinctures or teas? Does not say dosages or interactions
By far the best of it's kind & I look forward to seeing the updates in the future. Well done developer!
The properties listed are not complete
Can you write for monihot Akika
Great app by far the best I've used.
Almost perfect. More on prep
Great app thanks.
Useful!
Very very informative
Nice and easy to understand
As a beginner botanist interested in herbal treatments, this is the exact app I've been looking for. Associations section is a great device to guide my learning, and the images are really valuable to the overall experience. I wish there were (unless I'm missing it) some way to bookmark/save favorite plants; an internal list I could reference for ones I want to research more later. Thanks!
As others have mentioned, I too have the same questions and suggestions. What the heck are the two symbols which appear on some pages but not others??? And, creating a sub section on each listed plant explaining how to prepare the plant for use would be a vast improvement, almost an integral part of the app. What good is it to know that bamboo helps with back pain and I am sitting with the plant in front of me trying to decide should I chew it? Crush it? Rub it? Beat it perhaps?
I really love this app! Especially the simple, yet beautiful look and feel of the UI. My only complaint is that there aren't many herbs in this guide. If you expand to add more herbs plus how to prepare them on treatments and all, I'd give this a perfect 5 stars.
Everything is broken down by use and simular usage... In one app.
I have been looking for books like this at thrift stores for years. It has become one of my favorite pass times. However recently I needed some information on wild herbs that was growing on my property and came across this app. It has been a great starting point in identifying and isolating the uses of many herbs commonly referred to as weeds also it is a resource when I do deeper research. Good job!!!
The app is very good, but it would be nice if it gave ways to use the herbs like in teas. Their side effects would also be nice. And was do the pregnancy and the age 12 icons mean? As well at the aerial part?
Great info, but have no idea what's the symbols mean beside some herbs. eg: 7yr, 12 yr, a pregnant lady? It would be nice to have a chart to let the user know what the symbols mean.
I really enjoy this app. It is very informative and creative. I would highly recommend it. However, I was wondering what does the symbols with the "pregnant belly" and "7 years" mean?
I like the way this app is organized, but it is missing common herbs chamomile and mullein, and probably others. Photos of the plants would also be helpful.
This is a great, well-designed, user-friendly, extremely informative app. Easy to navigate and with beautiful, stylish images.
Please do not use this app. If you have any issues, consult a licenced physician.
Please update herb list with all herbs in the world A - Z. Nice easy to use interface.
Wonderful pictures, very brief history of the herb and pictures, that help you identify each one.
It's better than most of the other apps out there. Considering the fact that they're free apps, this one in my opinion is the best.
I have really wanting to learn about herbal medicine and this has a lot of good info to start with :)
It's alright, but very minimal on plant selection.
Gives detail info about the herbs. It's nice n simple to understand. Thanks
Great information, very informative!
Wonders of herbs
Best one I have found
Excellent App

Good descriptions and very informative. However, many of the entries are poisonous if not prepared right, and the app does not take that into account nor mention it. Please keep that in mind, when using it.
