BabyCam - Baby Monitor Camera

It seemed to work fine when I use it for an hour or so, but 2 nights in a row it crashed in the middle of the night and I couldn't hear my baby cry. I even tried turning off the setting where my phone turns off after inactivity but it didn't help. Apps OK if you use it for nap time only or only for a small amount of time.

This is the only baby monitor app that works for my phone it was working for the longest and it worked yesterday wake up today and it dont work uninstalling till this is fixed

Working only on wifi. If this application working on data very useful. Pls do something that we can use also using data 3g

This application is what I am looking for. I can monitor, video/audio inside or just outside our house where it is located 4kms away from my business place via a long range wifi without any internet connection. The only thing which is not complete is that it has no call function of the viewer so that it will make a duplex intercom system too. My request to the developer about the call function for the next update. Thanks a lot. Still five star anyway.

I like this app but after while i noticed the video feed was freezing up or goes off, i use wifi only. Still have this issue

After doing some self testing due to a minor incident I found that this thing freezes for almost 1 minute every 2 minutes. THAT'S DANGEROUS knowing that it takes a matter of seconds for something to happen meanwhile looking at a frozen image thinking that everything is ok until the app finally catches up with itself. My wifi in my home puts out 5g so its definitely not a wifi issue in my home. I'll just go to babies-r-us and invest in a real monitor cam system.

URL for distance viewing doesn't work! Wanted to keep an eye on my dogs and home while I was out.

Camera for parents is not working and keeps on hanging

The concept is great, love the simplicity, and I can use it perfectly if I leave the sound on, but the alerts do not work for me. It only alerts me to crying if I turn the baby camera off. This makes no sense to me. I will be trying something else!

Works good. Freezed up once and there is an echo but most apps do that. We will see how it works later and give an update. Can't complain about adds because that's how it's free. Thanks.

Simple, works for video and audio. Alerts did not work for me, S5 5.0 w S3 4.4 as camera. Really is free! Thank you to the benevolent dev. Wish I could just have audio to save battery. Wish there was better indication if the steam has failed on the parent's phone. As-is, the video just freezes, which is tough to tell when baby is sleeping.

You should make an ad free version or an in-app upgrade to remove the ads.

Apply sounds promising but haven't been able to use it as my 'child' device connects to the 'parent' device over the WiFi hotspot hosted by parent device. Whilst you can view video via browser (video quality and speed is great), there is no audio coming through. The 'flash' button should also change colour when light activated in car it was accidentally pressed. Please enable parent device to work over hosted hotspot then I assume this app could be a big winner.

When it does work, it's OK, but half the time it would disconnect or freeze. Any time I exited monitoring on the parent device I was then unable to reconnect again without resetting the app on the child device. I'd be OK with the lack of features if the features it has actually worked.

Works great, but could do with 1. Screen rotation on the viewer side 2. Sound set on automatically (viewer ), 3. Screen to turn off on the cam side (save battery ). Outside that, great app !

After using Skype as a (tedious) temporary solution for weeks, I found this gem. No more sneaking in to restart a call on a different device. :) And no more accidental sleep-shattering accidental mic feedback.

Constantly crashes and doesn't tell you, you just look down and see a frozen screen. Will not reconnect even when both devices are restarted and then when you finally get it connected again it crashes 30 seconds later. Do not recommend!!!!

Totally disappointed with this app. It crashes all the time and I have to constantly check my phone to see if its actually working and the child unit stops working all the time too. Would not recommend

Does as advertised. It does have ads, they do not get in the way of the app. This is a simple app that works. You can watch and listen. Perfect. Thanks.

Image on parent camera gets stick alot

Doesn't stay connected thru the night. Unreliable. Defeats the purpose if it doesn't stay connected. This app needs some sort of reconnect feature before it's viable. Uninstalled.

Like the idea but it was frozen most of the time I attempted to use it. When it did work it was good. Uninsulated, using Dormi instead.

This is a neat app, works nice, sharp picture, easy to use, needs minimal permissions. The ads are annoying though.

Thank you so much for making this app and for free too. It's been really helpful looking after our baby. Easy to set up and use and with no bugs or faults so far. I understand the need for ads as it's a good source of revenue so no problems from me there. We appreciate it. Thank you.

Extremely simple app that works alright, but has annoying ads that can't be turned off and no pro version. It's a bit buggy and crashes, rendering it effectively useless. I will try another option.

I downloaded this piece of crap thinking it would be alright, only to later on go upstairs to find my baby on the floor crying after I put him to sleep! All I got was a notification from the app saying it had to be shut down when I checked my phone. Nothing on it works. Not only is my baby traumatised but I am too! This app is an absolute waste and should not be used for anything to do with babies!!!!!! I wish I could give less than 1 star.

I leave the tv on for background noise while my baby sleeps and I noticed the tv screen wasn't moving. The app freezes up and stops working after 30 seconds. Not my Internet connection problem. Good for a quick glance but I wouldn't leave it running.
