Constantly asking for Facebook ID to let me proceed and I'M NOT ON EFFING FACEBOOK! Have had IT reset twice and still can't download and read. Lousy start to the day. Cancelling paper, using stellar Washington Post app.

It takes usually three attempts to get paper to load. It then will only work for one section of the paper and then not load the next one.

I tried creating an account using both email & facebook, but the login screen takes me nowhere. I would like to subscribe to the digital edition, but the app doesn't function properly ):

The latest version sent out July 25, 2016 is much improved! The edition loads much faster and seems more consistently responsive to swipes and taps than before. Only feature I'd add is a "always download" option so that I don't have to open the app and choose to download the latest edition.

Won't load. Captures your email address that stops working.

Won't allow me to read paper. I made an account with them, but every time I try to use the app, it won't move on. Could it have killed you to let people create accounts without Facebook getting involved? I don't want to sign in on Facebook just to see the news. If this is your way to discourage people from using your app, and buy the newspaper instead, then congralutions! You suck! Please do something about this.

Can't print from app? Have to go toe web browser, find e-edition, and choose full website just to print the ctisseird. Please add a print button to tge app

Nexus 7 (newer model), waited a couple minutes for content to load, gave up, uninstalled.

Works with android 5.1.1 Enjoyable reading experience on Galaxy tab $2. Occasionally a small portion of screen will to fail to resolve. Fast page scroll.

Tried on two devices. After sign in??? maybe. Just shows a center screen with what looks like stories they want to show you. Not digital pages as advertised. Free.

Useless app

How difficult is it create an app that delivers the content of the daily newspaper in a readable smart device format? I subscribe to the newspaper but would like to read the content on my phone or table. Screen shots of the newspaper does not accomplish that.

Stops after loading, have sent multi reports but still no help.

Paper loads but pressing on sections does not reveal articles. Please fix!

Won't load the paper on the new Samsung tab s 2. Works on its 9/20/2015

This app does not work on my tablet. In fact the whole az central experience has been a nightmare! I am frustrated that I pay extra money for this and can never use it when I want to.

Samsung tab & phone. Off line, all photos and comics out of focus, even though dowloaded. resizes erratically. Can't save an article. Will cancel if not fixed soon

** One of the devs responded directly to my post. Need to force a restart of the app. It works now and the latest versions are much smoother and quicker in loading and rendering pages. ** Doesn't load the paper, just sits there. I've only seen this app work very occasionally and poorly, but the latest update is just bad! Using on a samsung note 8.

Trying to use it on Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Almost impossible to keep anything sized for reading. You never know what will happen when you touch the screen. If it does not improve, I will cancel subscription.

Insisted I'm not a subscriber even as the paper landed on my driveway.

Very easy to navigate and zoom when online. HOWEVER, even when the edition has been downloaded, if you have no connection, like a morning commute, the app will not fully launch. It tells you that you are not online, then exits. Could have been 4-star; I almost demoted it to 2-stars.

Doesn't load beyond the banner on Galaxy 5.

Totally worthles. As others said just shows banner. I like flipping through the page. Please fix

It's just a scanned version of the paper! Very poor app. Why does this app need my personal information such as app history, bookmarks & history? Their other app wants access to my pictures & microphone! Is the Republic big brother? Why aren't they satisfied with getting paid for a subscription fee monthly?

Slow to load. Constantly freezing. Formatting is obsolete. An embarrassment to Gannett.

This is an opportunity for a person with basic computer knowledge to become a star on this site. I thought the online edition would save this paper but I was mistaken.
