Touch Blocker / Disable Touch

It's greats to be able to disable the touch function on the phone when I hand over the to my son. When I initially came across the I had my doubts with the old android gingerbread type GUI.. But I am glad I tried it. It works well, I have not had any issues. It's also very configurable to how the touch function can be reactivated. Recommend it

3 stars because when screen goes to sleep or turned off screen lock is dusabled! So if child picks up phone and is able to turn on screen it is not locked.. nor can screen be locked by voice command!!

I use this app for showing my toddler movies when doing things he doesn't like (medicine, diaper changes, etc.). It's a life saver! I just wish the notification bar enabling worked with Amazon video.

It does not cover blocking of the menu button on the bottom left side. Which makes the application pointless.

I often listen to the sound only of the videos while doing simple works and while carrying the phone in the pocket. It is very inconvenient that youtube and netflix video viewers don't allow to put the phone in the pocket while playing - they would stop on screen lock and other actions. This app is the solution. It is not overly easy one - but it is a reasonable usable workaround. I wish Youtube and Netflix allowed listen only mode. Maybe they do this intentionally to limit the streaming load on their servers. For youtube until now I used PV star viewer which allows screen lock, but it has few missing features - it doesn't open youtube links, forgets current position etc. The instructions how to use the app are very poor - almost nonexistent. I recommend the author to clearly place them where it is easy to find them - in the app and in the app description on google play and write clear instructions . It is a guessing work. I installed the paid key - tried and uninstalled because i couldn't figure out how to use the app with netflix - so I switched to UnTouch - Baby Touch Blocker which is free.

Useless. The home back and recent buttons are unaffected by the touch blocking.

I used to use this for an old phone that started freaking out whenever I connected an audio cable. Now I use it while playing Pokémon GO, so I can put my phone in my pocket while keeping the game open. 4 stars because sometimes touch does get enabled again somehow (while the app still thinks it's disabled).

I use it with the kindle app when reading in bed as it prevents accidental page turns. I use the volume buttons to turn the page, but especially when rolling on my other side I tend to grip the phone too tightly and flip a bunch of pages by touch. Unless using this app :-)

Screen is fine, but capacitive buttons for back and menu still work. Defeats the purpose of blocking touches

I have a cat s50 that is waterproof. I always wanted to film underwater but the water stopped the recording because of the touchscreen. But with this everything is perfect.. Love it 10/10

Handy app to be used with Navionics when it's raining and the phone gets false touches.

Video playback automatically pauses upon enabling in Amazon Video app. Defeats purpose.

Trying to play beat the buffer with the lock button was ultimately futile. The one time I got the screen locked before the vid loaded, it stopped anyway after a few seconds. Unlocking the phone is difficult as well.

Galaxy S7 EDGE. Back button to re-enable touch doesn't work. Recent apps key not blocked. Would pay for a user rhythm based unlock. Use this most for YouTube while phone in pocket via Bluetooth...but clicking Bluetooth device button while locked doesn't pause the video as it does when unlocked (sound mutes though so you think it is paused). Can this be done?

To start it, swipe down where you would stay your wifi or clear your notifications. Press "enable touch input". The screen that you where on will pop back up. To turn it off, triple touch the screen fast. These two lines of instruction would have been helpful to know. I have s baby and we watch sesame Street etc , and this saves him from browsing all over the place while he does his baby thing and grabs everything. Ready to use, the default setting should do it for the standard user. Love it.

I would love to love this app but it doesn't block the button to swap between 'recent used apps'! This key is located right where little fingers hold on to the phone! Defeats the purpose of locking the screen if that button can be selected which backs the tiny human viewer out of the video. Every other feature seems great and works as described. Please fix it so the recent apps key is blocked too!! (Samsung S5 user)

Is there an option where the Power button DOESN'T unlock the phone? My 10 month old likes pushing the buttons on my LG G3 and she always unlocks it.

Works very well on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1....keeps my daughter out of the camera!!

My son drags down the all purpose bar on my Note 3 despite being screen locked. (Also how do u donate?)

Does what it says. 5 stars if you can also make the screen lock (as well as unlock) on proximity sensor

I use so I can trace tattoo designs from tablet to paper. Saves a lot of time from free handing

"Enable" notification should be below the line, not above it. Just need it to be there when I pull down the notification shade, instead of always showing as an active notification. Fix this and will upgrade to 5 stars.

Like it better than other blockers I downloaded. The notification feature is the best bc I can easily turn on blocker so my bby can watch Netflix and YouTube.

Water Camera uses Volume Key to trigger shutter. When Argus Touch Blocker and Water Camera are both active the Volume Key works as a Volume Key and Water Camera cannot operate.

It would be even better if there could be an update including an option to float an opaque on-screen button somewhere on the screen to toggle lock on/off. But even without that option locking the screen by shaking the device and unlocking by triple tapping does the job better than nothing. Free version user here by the way, using the application to be able to hold the tablet like a book in order to read.

This touch blocker works great. I use it when I let my toddler watch videos, since he's always pointing at things on the screen. It does work with Netflix, you just need to activate it during buffering. The only thing I would fix is the triple-tap disable feature; my toddler actually manages to disable the app with this feature on, even though he certainly doesn't triple-tap, apparently him just touching the screen three times even slowly disables the touch blocker with this on.

Very useful when my phone is mounted on my bike running navigation while raining.

I was unable to lock when there's no notification bar. I need a hotkey to lock or this is useless to me. I can lock but then I cant get to video or do anything =

Works and blocks touches on the screen and touch keys and homescreen button but doesnt stop s finder popping up when holding the left (menu) touch key. Still pretty useful though

Exactly what I want. I tried a couple other apps before this one and they don't even come close to what this app does.

My daughter who i one years old, opened the screen in nanoseconds just by a few taps on the screen

Useless on my HTC One (M7) since the touch buttons are not disabled.

Auto launch during a call would make it good, however i can press back or home to disable it right.?

Works on YouTube. Which is what I need :)
