About Secret Santa SMS
Secret santa SMS allows you to create a secret santa group by selecting contacts from your phone.
A SMS is sent (using your SMS program) to all participants letting them know who they were assigned and how much they should spend.
SPOILER ALERT : You will be able to see the SMSs in your sent SMS history so have someone delete all your messages except your one if you do not want to see allocations.
You can also quickly select yourself using the "Add Yourself" button. You can also use this button for manual entries.
The message sent is short and simple and contains no links.

I used previous apps with email and they just went to junk folders and caused confusion so this should be quick and easy.
If you need to look at the participants list or review Secret Santa assignments this can be done easily inside the app or you can choose to email them to yourself or others using the Email function.

Only 1 list is available at any time.
The SMS messages will be send from your phone number so you will pay carrier costs.
The SMS's will be in the conversation history so you can resend if needed. I cant avoid this as it uses your SMS program.
You can delete the list and create a new one but you your previous list will be deleted. However, you can email yourself all the details in case you want it later.

We had 24 ppl in our group and it worked great. For kids without cell phone I typed their mom's number. Once the SMSes were sent I deleted all of them without reading and u installed the app so I didn't see allocations. App did a great job of random allocatipns

Very efficient and quick to use. I would have liked to edit names as what I call people in my contact list isn't what people would recognise them as. I had to edit my contact list name in order to use this app which was annoying. Also, would love for this app to be changed so that I can't see everyone else's secret Santas. Great app regardless

Great app. No more writing names on piece of paper and drawing out of a hat. Tip - If you are the admin delete messages after sent so that you do not read who each person gets. If someone forgets then you'll have to look in the app.

We had 14 people in our group and this worked great! Just be aware whenever the Santas are sent it will look like whoever used the app will have sent each text message. That person also has the ability to see all the assignments, but why spoil the fun? Thanks for a great app and Merry Christmas!

I love this app! I didn't have to throw a party to get everyone together or drive to everyone's house or write names on paper. So easy. The only bad thing is that I know who everyone has. I didn't want to know. I still love and will use every year!

Just as the app says. Very simple and saved gas, money and time. The only thing I would like to be added unto the app would be the option to edit and change the name of contestant instead of using the phone's contact name.

Like others my only setback is that I can see the other Secret Santa messages. So you will have to delete the messages and not open them to be fair.

It worked well except if your the person using the app you can see all the text messages sent so you know who got who... but if you delete the messages before reading them it will remain a secret... at least when using my Android phone.

It was so hard to get the whole family together to draw secret Santa names, this app was easy and fast! Love this app!

I like that it generates secret Santa names. Features I'd like to see added are anonymous messaging, feature to add gift ideas to each name drawn and texted along with the assigned text for secret Santa selection and save draft option for adding contacts (had to read every time I didn't finish and closed phone) . Easy to use.

It did the job. I don't care for the ads though. Just know if you are the person planning, you will know all the secrets since the texts are sent from your phone. Happy Holidays!

Great for my son's secret santa. It was easy as all you have to do is add contacts and it sends a text message.

Only bad thing is it uses your number so unless you use a diffrent phone or delete your test you know who everyone gets or got you so it's only good to manage if your not joining.

Worked well - simple and easy. Suggested improvements are to allow complete editing of SMS content and maybe to incorporate rules to avoid couples getting each other.

Would have been so much better if the assignment of who will give who a present was in random and not in chronological order on how you add the contacts.

Very simple to use and I like that it uses sms instead of email but I would like some flexibility to avoid couples, etc. Don't like that I can see all the matches. Can't resend individual allocations.
